Theldrin, as you go out into the skeleton room, you hear people running up the stairs from the west. "There up here! i'm sure the goblins will be keeping them tied up, get in there and finish them off!"
Xanrym's arrow puts down another goblin.
Liarin is up, you have one goblin in the hallway in front of you, while Avery fights another that's appeared behind you.
(Rolls on sheet/Game Log) Liarin savagely rips at the goblin in the hallway (AC 23, 11 damage) then moves towards the door between the meeting room and the skeletons. (If the goblin doesn't fall, she willingly takes the OA) She pauses in the doorway, briefly looking nervously towards the stairs.

Theldrin calls out to warn the others, "More enemies approaching from the stairs!"
As Avery and the goblin continue their fight, Xanrym calls out in Elvish: "Theldrin, Liarin, can you get a look and then get back in here? If we can close this door, we could try to bar it against the newly-arrived or at least hold it closed long enough to prepare a little surprise for them."
"Good idea," Theldrin replies in Elvish, allowing himself a little smile inspite of the predicament the party is in. It always pleased him to hear the Elven tongue, and lifts his spirits with hope after nearly being taken down by the goblins only to retreat into another impending attack.
Avery's sword hacks into the goblin but it's still up, it shakes its head and looks to the door behind it:
The goblin hacks at Avery, then uses his Bonus Action to Disengage and make a run back into the room it came from:
Scimitar against Avery Attack: 15 Damage: 7 Slashing
As that happens, Liairn and Theldrin observe as four people come from the stairwell room. One of them is Jocelyn, the acolyte you met earlier, she's looking much more crazed than before, yelling at three compatriots to attack. The other three are all men, with bald heads and matching simple tunics. Their eyes are all coloured a dark green, whites and all. They all move into the room and take martial poses, looking to fight with their hands.
Jocelyn casts Sacred Flame at Theldrin: He makes a DC 12 DEX Save or takes 2 Radiant Damage.
You all are up, Jocelyn and the evil monks have just come up the stairs, while the last goblin is retreating into the other room.
(OOC: Does Xanrym still have line-of-sight to the goblin who just disengaged? Or would he need to go through the same door that the goblin took to be able to target it?)
Xanrym chases the goblin through the secret door in the south wall. As he passes Avery, he says, "If Liarin and Theldrin can get through the door, we've got to try to hold it closed against the cultists from downstairs so that we have time to lay a trap."
If he can see the goblin once he's in the room where the goblin went, he casts vicious mockery at it, "Don't run from us! Run from the shame of that disastrous ambush!" Then he stows his crossbow so that he has his hands free next round
Does Xanrym see any other goblins or cultists in the room to the south? Or just the one goblin who fled? (Perception16)
Movement: Up to 30' movement into the room to the south of room 13, but he only goes far enough to get a view on the goblin and get within 60' of it. Action: Cast spell Vicious Mockery on fleeing goblin, WIS 13 save or target takes damage (4 psychic) and has disadvantage on the next roll it makes before the end of its next turn. Free Action: Talking. Object interaction: stow crossbow

To be clear, when he said that, Xanrym was pointing back at the door to the north toward the skeleton room (i.e., the door between rooms 11 and 13).
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
Xanrym does not see any other goblins or people in the goblin room. Just straw mats and a table with meat and bones on it, not human.
Goblin Wis Save 17
The Firebolt hits Jocelyn as she screams at the Monks, "Go for the magic user first, we can deal with the others once he's down!" The monks say nothing, but focus their green eyes on Theldrin.
Avery and Liarin are up.

Thinking tactically, very clever.
