Nillis suggest, "Why don't we look around the house?" He takes a look around the room he's in. What does he see?
Perception: 17
Multiple articles of furniture covered with white sheets and gathering dust. This room has evidently not been used in some time, judging by the crumbling plaster and rotting wood of the walls and ceiling.
Penumbra quietly walks down the hall observing anything she can.
Perception:12
Stealth: 28
The hall still retains a few vestiges of its former glory, as denoted by the thick red carpet and bronze railings. Yet dust has also found its way even into the very heart of the house, and the air is thick with the cloying smell of mildew.
Three doors line the hall on the right, and a single door on the left. At the end of the hall lies a massive staircase, which winds its way up to the rest of the house.
According to the lack of dust and the faint fingerprints on the four greasy doorknobs, the rooms beyond are still in use. The upstairs looks similarily occupied, as the light of a few candles can be seen in the upper corridor.
One of the doors, the second door on your right, is open a crack, and a faint light shines through the opening. This is the door the little girl has gone into, evidently the kitchen.
Alright no reason in going up there yet. (OOC: I use Italics to indicate what my character is thinking)
Unable to find Penumbra, Nillis will head back to the rest of the party and say, "Well, as much as I don't like influencing a story, we won't really get anywhere if we stay here." He will then head out to the barn/warehouse (I don't remember which one was outside).

The rain has lessened somewhat, but Nillis is still drenched as he makes his way to the barn, a good quarter-mile from the mansion, and situated on the opposite side of the field. A vague, unsettling sensation falls over Nillis about halfway to the barn, and he instinctively looks about him, hand on blade. Though a disciple of music and the arts, Nillis is in no way unnacustomed to combat.
Nillis, make a Perception check, with disadvantage due to the torrential rain and lack of light.
Since the girl seems ok for the time Penumbra will return to the second room. Seeing that Nillis and Water have gone she asks Esano "Where did the others go?"
"I think they've gone that way, outside, shall we follow?" Esano shakes his head "We finally got somewhere dry and they run outside again.. Did you find out anything useful?"

"I believe the girl has found her snack. There are a few more doors and stairs heading up in the hall out there. I thought we had decided to explore inside first." Penumbra says. "Well, perhaps we should follow them and make sure they don't get into any trouble out there."

Are there any other doors or halls besides the one Penumbra walked down?
Are there any doors in the hall itself? Besides the door to the front of the house, and the one Penumbra walked through.

Nillis follows Penumbra down the hall but doesn't see her.
He decides to investigate the doors. Is there dust on the knob and the rest of the door? Are these doors in regular use?

Penumbra stops for a moment to listen at the door that is cracked open.

A rustling followed by a munching sound indicates that the girl has found the snack she was seeking.

Can I use Passive Perception instead? If yes, then it will be 12 (Disadvantage means -5 right?)
Otherwise, Perception: 13 (Dis: 20)
