Sneak attack damage from last round for Bix is 5. Bix raises her crossbow again and fires for 13 to hit with 5 damage and if I get sneak attack another 11 damage for a total of 16.
RAGDOR moves and clobbers the HULKING CREATURE with a little help from the Faerie Fire.
ROUND THREE
XANTH slices and bludgeons the HULKING TWO-HEADED GIANT.
GLYNT cast a loud Shatter spell that not only damages the HULKING CREATURE but awakens ERKY.
ERKY wakes with a start. He sees the TWO-HEADED GIANT threatening the party; and while lying on the ground, sends a swarm of Magic Missiles toward the Creature.
BIX loads another bolt and fires again with lethal precision. It too hits the HULKING CREATURE wearing only ragtag animal skins for clothing, and with lots of exposed skin.
(DM NOTE: It takes a regular action to wake up someone from a sleep. It becomes a choice. Do I use my turn to wake up a comrade, or do I try and kill the creature? Encounters during rest time can be extra challenging. Except this time! ;))
The HULKING CREATURE swoons, blood gushing now from several wounds. And with an earth quaking thud falls to the ground dead.
The Two-Headed Giant came from the west-northwest in the direction of a forest that borders the northern ridge of the Sword Mountains which can easily be seen at daylight.
The Two-Headed Giant had a massive sack with rotted fruit, seeds and various bones in it, but nothing of any real value.
(When he awoke, I had Erky do an Intelligence check to see if he knew anything more about the creature. He failed it. If you roll an Intelligence check, you may have greater insight on this creature. Always feel free to roll these kinds of check during encounters, etc., for sometimes I may provide the party a little greater insight.)
The party will have no other encounters through the night.
DAY SIXTEEN
(Survival Check would be needed if you wish to follow the Two-Headed Giants tracks.)
Ragdor shakes the cobwebs from his head, I must have hit my head during the fight, could have sworn there was someone else here with us. At any rate, shall we follow the trail?
The one thing the party notices about this two-headed Giant is the smell. It was bad.
The party is easily able to follow the Giant tracks. You could almost follow the smell. After about two miles the party comes across a stream that has cut itself deeply into the earth. And about a half mile or so past that, the party first hears arguing in the Giant tongue, but you are too far away to make out what they are saying. As you approach you will see three lovely ladies having a pleasant conversation. NOT!
You see three female Ogres that appear to be fighting over a leg from a deer. Behind them is a rather large but crudely built wooden hut.
(That just may wake up the sleeping Erky.)

Can I use my bonus action to wake Erky?

THAT WAS EASY!
Xanth looks around for any other dangers. Perception 19
Crickets!
(What does the party do next?)
I’d say we’re going to need to finish the nights rest. That happened in the middle watch.
Xanth
"Should we try and find out where it came from? It may have something of value there."
He will also search the body hopefully aiding Ragdor.
Bix goes over to take a look at the Hulking Creature. I wonder if there are any others around. Did anyone see what direction it came from?

DAY SIXTEEN
(Survival Check would be needed if you wish to follow the Two-Headed Giants tracks.)
Survival 23 (I assumed someone would help and cast Guidance.)
Nature 3 It's a two head giant right.
Ragdor looks from the newcomer to Xanth then back to the newcomer, well met traveler, don't think I caught your name?
"Who are you talking too?"
Chancethetaken has no problems tracking where the two-headed Giant came from. Do you follow the tracks?
Ragdor shakes the cobwebs from his head, I must have hit my head during the fight, could have sworn there was someone else here with us. At any rate, shall we follow the trail?
"Let's go, maybe it has something interesting in it's camp."
I'm with you Glynt. Maybe we won't find another one or something worse.

They do not notice you. What do you do?
(Map link will be added to the OOC thread.)
Bix stops upon seeing the Ogres, she motions to the others behind her to get down and be quiet.
Ragdor drops to a knee and tries to listen in on the conversation.
