You drink for the evening, and then the next day comes. Any plans in particular for your begging? Or for investigation? Or are you mostly just passing time waiting for the harper Intel?
A slow street crawl might be indicated... to get a feel for how the neighborhood is reacting / recovering from the incident (and fireball deaths). Plus, having our faces 'seen' by the neighboring merchants lets them know who we are and that we are 'here to stay'. (so far) #Community_Outreach
I believe (someone correct me if I've miscounted) thay this is day 3 since the fireball (tracking for tavern profit every 10 days).
The area seems to be bouncing back well. There is definitely a feeling of trepidation that wasn't there before, but people seem to be mostly celebrating life rather than focusing on the horror. No one has any specific odd jobs for you but seeing your willingness to help does cement your place in the neighbourhood a bit better.
On your return to the manor, Lif hands you a message that was delivered by flying snake: “There’s a shop in the Trades Ward called Weirdbottle’s Concoctions. The gnome who runs it is a friend of ours named Skeemo. He’s made some potions of mind reading for a client. Pick up the potions and deliver them to the God Catcher, one of the enormous statues in the Castle Ward. Give the potions to the lady in the purple cloak, and keep the tip.”
Before you can do anything about it, Mirt (Harper's) walks into the manor. “Renaer told me about the witness account. We have some of our best agents tracking the man down. While they do that, I have an urgent favour to ask do you. Uza Solizeph is an old woman who sells books out of a narrow three-story building on Sorn Street in the Trades Ward. She claims to have trapped a monster in her shop and fears for the welfare of her books and her cat. The City Watch isn’t likely to lend a hand, given Uza’s propensity for tall tales, but the Harpers owe her a favor. You’ll find her sobbing at Felzoun’s Folly, a tavern on the corner of Sorn Street and Salabar Street. Make haste!”
Xaulagrees with Kylaski with a grin of enthusiasm. 'Yeah, fighting a monster sounds great, haven't been able to stretch my spells in months! We'd be happy to tackle that job!' In addition, he thinks blasting a fist shaped hole through something would prove a pretty excellent form of stress relief. The Zhent drop-off can come afterwards.
“Trades ward it is,” says Skye. When their Harper contact is out of earshot, she says to the other, “Should we tackle both jobs at once, or stick together? The monster sounds a little more urgent than the dead drop.”
Sounds like you are in agreement. You go to Felzoun’s Folly and it's easy to find her seeing as there is one person sobbing and being generally avoided. As she sees you walk over she blurts out "Please help me. A monstrous ball with many eyes chased my cat into my store. Please deal with the monster and save my cat."

Sehaethas was just sitting there when he spoke with Kylaski's voice, "Oh, I want to go fight the monster!"
Sehaethas then reluctantly prepares to make his way to the Felzoun’s Folly.

Sehaethas says, "I think we should stick together for fighting a monster. There a safety in numbers..."
