Dundur, the water ripples as you stick your maul down the barrel. Just like water should, right? Strange. Why do the ripples go THAT way?
Alira, Chanterelle turns to you when you speak, and says, "The world..and so much more." She then proceeds to walk towards the exit of the room and leave. She gestures to the painting as she turns back to the rest of you. "I suggest you take the portal. Your..friend..doesn't seem to be doing well, and time.." she snorts in laughter at the word, as if it was something trivial, "..is short. I will leave the painting on the wall for 30 days. Then I will come back for it."
Alira, you appear in a room that is mostly..red. There are a few decorative rugs and pillows, meaningless and unimportant. There are handcuff chains on the wall, now empty. Dundur is sticking his maul in a barrel of what looks to be plain water, and Jotunheim is here as well. What is very strange is that the room is completely silent, and there are no smells. The north wall has a door leading further into the Maze, and on the south wall is a painting containing Chanterelle and a familiar party of adventurers, frozen in an abstract artistic pose.
"Oh well, if there are treasures and lost knowledge... it might be worth it". Goggick is placing his finger on the painting. His vision becomes blurry. He has enough time to wonder why a weird taste of oil and paint appears in his mouth before losing consciousness.

Astrid just giggles with delight at the others as they get sucked into the painting portal. "Weeeeeeeeeee! An ADVENTURE! Here goes nuttin'." she excitedly blurts out, and she takes a few steps back and then burst forward at full speed, taking a running leap and dives headlong into the painting (Acrobatics: 8 for style points).
Jax, who had remained silent for the entire conversation, keeps her eyes locked on the mystical being as she heads towards the door and, eventually, exits. She had never seen anything like her before. Encouraged by the new, magical experience she cracks her neck and walks straight for the painting, touching the canvas with one of her claws in anticipation.
Chanterelle leaves the room, promising to take the painting away in 30 days. Not knowing what to expect this is new reality, wherever and whenever it is, you hope to return in a month's time before you are trapped here for all eternity.
Goggick is inside the prison room, your senses and perception adjusting to your new reality. Alira is in the prison room, and has adjusted well, ready to open the door to the next room. Jax and Kyah have entered the room as well, ready to experience wonders beyond reality. Joundral also appears, with an interesting idea on how to track where the party has been. Percival reluctantly enters to room as well, joining the party. Jotumheim is there as well, eager to continue the adventure. Can't say I blame him. With acrobatic flair, Astrid appears from the painting into the room, rolling, and landing on her feet. Impressive! Dundur is probably very happy to see all of you.
i look aver at Joundral to his question. “Waters fine, mate. Take a drink, it didn’t kill me, but it’s definitly weird.” I fill my water skin from the barrel. “Anyone willing to spare a little bit of healing?” I say to the group as everyone else arrives. “My head is reeling from this place. I still trying to make sense of what happened.”
Opening the door, you have entered the second room of the Maze, and essentially beginning your journey proper to explore a place in a different reality, time, and space. The Medusa has created a Maze is so large, it is divided into seven zones. This is the first zone, known only as The Halls of Chronia. After this encounter, between each room I will be rolling for random encounters. There are many things that want to meet you.
In the center of this enormous room, latticed with shadow, stands a woman. She is about 10 feet tall, has midnight blue skin, black hair, and horns. If you could describe it in words, she appears half human, half dragon. He walks upright and has a pleasant and powerful female humanoid form.
As you approach, she is muttering to herself in a language you all comprehend. "It would be a shame," she says, thinking, "to burn it all, with nothing left behind." She has not noticed you all yet, completely deep in thought. She paces back and forth in the room.

Keksi, the kobold shaman, was still in the tavern room, hiding. "I wonder if I can take that painting without being sucked in like the rest," she wondered. Holding her spear, she carefully tries to hook the painting by the backside with it.
In your attempt to unhook the painting, you completely miss where you think the hook might be, and the painting falls with a loud THUD, falling over forward, hitting your boot. Welcome to the Maze.

Slowly pacing around the room, Astrid inspects Lady Capilli from all sides, trying to gauge her. Is she some sort of dragon pyromaniac? (Investigation: 17)
Lady Capilli is the only thing in this room, deep in thought. As you look at the walls of the maze, they are made of stone. Smooth, grey, and featureless. There are faint light sources around, like torches, or chandeliers, but it is, for lack of a better term, not too bright in the Maze.
Your investigation result trigger two pieces of information.
ONE - This woman, this Lady Capilli, is not a wizard or caster of any sort. She is merely talking about setting fire to the Maze. Why, is anyone's guess. She has the face of a woman. The body and appendages of a woman, but she is clearly a "fusion" of a dragon as well, wings and all. and is wearing a combination of cloth and plate armor. This is the best description you can understand. Because you are short, she towers greatly over you.
TWO - During your travels, you remember hearing about a religion called The Church of the Triad. You remember that they worshiped three beautiful women with god-like powers. Could these women who are trapped in the Maze be the same women? If so, imagine if they were freed from imprisonment. You all would be revered as Gods. But those were just rumors. Perhaps.
She sees you, Astrid, and is not surprised in any way, as if she always knew you were there, or didn't care. "Ah." She says, "Come travelers. You will do nicely. I am Lady Crecum Capilli."
ROOM 1 - THE FALSE CHANTERELLE
Dundur, the water ripples as you stick your maul down the barrel. Just like water should, right? Strange. Why do the ripples go THAT way?

Alira murmured a curse under her breath and then after a whispered prayer to the Sky Queen also touched the painting.

Alira sighs, "Might as well." She cracks her knuckles and opens the door to the north and walks through it.

Closing his eyes, Kyah feels the air for porpuse, he also guesses they should go save the allie "Here goes nuttin" you hear again as he follows Astrid
"You guys took you're time. Let's get going, can't be bothered to wait around anymore."
Jotumheim starts to head towards the doorway
Percival sighs before he touches the painting and is teleported to the red room.
