Vesta opens her mouth to respond to Mulligan again but then Zyl calls for silence. The wizard hushes and strains her ears to hear the sound of the murmuring.
Zyl flies down the passage until it turns to the west and peeks around the corner. She sees that it goes another 20' before opening into another chamber, but a post prevents her from seeing much at this spot... (Map)
When Mulligan had accepted the locked box and praised her, Celeste would smile and her hips would wiggle. She was excited to watch Mulligan do his thing to open it. She brought it to the right person. Truthfully she wasn't actually that interested in the contents or cared who it went too. To her it was more fun finding and retrieving the hidden item than it was anything else. So Celeste wasn't phased when Vesta grabbed it to identify it. Actually, she'd wiggle and sway in delight to have been praised again. The potion for the party was a bonus!
Prrt. When shushed, Celeste tip toes after the group. It doesn't stop her from merecatting or sniffing at the air though. Ears twitch listening hard as well. Was the murmuring a conversation? A prayer? A ritual? She wondered.
Cacophonous whispers echo through this expansive cave (60'x55' and roughly circular with another passage to the west -map). An imposing human cultist in a sweeping gray robe (like the one Delvin was wearing) stands against the north wall, chanting. His oily hair is slicked back, and his skin is gaunt and gray.
In the center of the cavern, carved into the floor before him is a runic circle that pulses with sickly green light. Two cultists—one human, one elf—stand inside the circle, heads thrown back and mouths agape. Their leader commands, “Now! Release your secrets unto me! Let the truths hidden in your soul come forth and become stronger!”As if in response, the cultists’ silhouettes warp into two lanky shadowy entities.
Vesta crept slowly and carefully after Zyl, but she hung back, letting the fairy get a better look first. If there was danger, perhaps they could mount another surprise attack.
Mulligan is just happy that Celeste got her box and potions back. It's fun watching her get so excited even if it's not over what he thinks it should be.
As Zyl heads off, Mulligan follows. He has a habit of following first before even being told, the little legs preferring the advantage of not always having to hurry up to catch up. One there is some indication there is people ahead he will turn on "stealth mode" as well as begin walking up the walls, perhaps even on the ceiling if practical. Easier to be stealthy when you are someplace nobody expects to have to look for you... Besides, it's fun and he doesn't get a chance to walk on ceilings very often.
Zyl gulps, takes a quick look back at the others and whispers, "Bad guys! He's sucking the life out of them or something! We gotta stop him!" She begins to shudder on the verge of another rage.

Who doing what to the what now? Celeste blinks, taking a moment to register. Eventually though, she catches on that she should probably act. Her friends could use her help!
The two cultists turn and look in your direction, then rush forward with scimitars drawn. One (blue) attacks Zyllyne(Attack: 10 Damage: 3), the other (red) attacks Mulligan on the wall (Attack: 13 Damage: 3).
The shadows that emerged from the cultists seem to blend into the shadows of the dimly lit cavern (Stealth: Red-19 :: Blue-8). They are nearly impossible to see! (Disadvantage on Perception checks to see them...)One materializes next to Mulligan and attacks the halfling (Attack: 12 Necrotic damage: 6. Mulligan's Str is reduced by 1 on a successful hit!)
Zyllyne feels the other shadow flow past her into the tunnel back to where the rest of the party wait!
Zyl howls (cutely) as the cultist attacks her and cuts her good. "Okay that is IT! I am SO over this place! And where did those things go!? No hiding!"
Action: Cast Fairie Fire 20 ft cube centered on Zyl. Dex save DC 11 or get coated in bright purple lights
Before Mulligan even knows what is happening he's being beaten like a potato... Dazed and confused he summons blades and strikes out at everything around him.

Realizing the cultists are in the room, Dara summons his spiritual weapon. An ethereal staff adorned with symbols of Eldath materializes in a burst of golden light to strike at the nearest cultist. At the same time, he whispers a low chant, invoking the bells of dread. The haunting toll reverberates around the cultist, sending bone-chilling resonance through them.
Toll the Dead at the red cultist: DC15 Wisdom save or 3 necrotic damage
Spiritual Weapon at the red cultist: Attack: 16 Damage: 10 force damage

Dara agrees. "Let's get closer and get a better look."
