turning back to the halfling she nods, “thank you”. She walks over to mila while unruffling her hair allowing her mismatched eyes to be exposed. Reaching her leader she places her hands behind her back and simply lifts an eyebrow, I’m ready.
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
Nodding to Estelle and now impatient with the mess made, Aramila's eyes begin to flare, "game faces on," she says to Estelle and Se'air before turning to Sariya, "try to seem mean... and maybe not so cute." She draws both of her daggers and walks over to the group. "I suggest you stand down," she calls out calmly; staring Jeb straight in the eye to ensure he notices the flames dancing around. Tossing the dagger in her right hand lightly, "we.." she starts by motioning to the rest of the members, "are more than double your amount and by the time you try and call for help, we could have removed more than one organ from each of you". She pauses, "so," she motions to the sword he holds against Elizar, "stand down; or things are going to get...hot," she finishes, walking closer with a sinister grin and the tips of her hair ablaze.
Jeb watches as you approach pulling his face back from Elizar slowly. He takes in the party and you can see him calculating the risk before Cit'rine clears his throat politely. Jeb turns his head to see Cit'rine smiling pleasantly at him over a loaded crossbow aimed point blank to his face.
He sneers and takes a hastened step back releasing Elizar "Hey now, we were only havin a bit of fun now weren't we Dave" Dave circles around to Jeb's side "yeah ay just havin a bit of fun we was" They both continue to walk backwards hands raised in surrender, Jeb sneering the whole time "Welcome to Phandalin folks" he calls as he puts a few feet between you "May it be a short lived stay" and with that they turn and hastily walk around the corner of a building disappearing.
Elizar glares after Jeb, eyes still burning and furious...thinking of what she was just about to do to him before the others stepped in. On the battlefield, she would never have let such an animal get away that easy. Never the less, she turns to the others and her eyes lighten a little.
'Its nice to see we have learnt to work as a group. He better pray I dont see his face again'.
'So, did anyone manage to find us directions?'.....and she glares to where Jeb had ran of too, secretly hoping she would still have the chance to cut his tongue off.
Snapping her gaze away from the running Jeb, Aramila glares at Elizar; her eyes still ablaze, "this," she starts, motioning around the group, "is not team work, this is the second time we have had to clear a mess you got us into," she snarls, "next time, try not to ruin the plan and we might actually get somewhere," she snaps, clearly struggling to keep her temper at bay. Closing her eyes with a sigh, she pauses, holding the bridge of her nose before placing her daggers back into their sheaths. Opening her eyes, which are now back to their natural state, Aramila turns to Estelle, "what did you discover?" now calm.
OCC- ahhh!!! I'm so sorry, I don't want to be mean but Mila is angry. Love you!!!
Elizar glares back at Aramilla furious. 'You must be as blind as you are dumb. If it wasnt for your friend (pointing at Citrine) and his sarcastic ass, then we wouldn't be in this situation to start with. I was the one helping HIM, in turn getting YOUR ass out of trouble'. She walks up close to Aramilla. 'I didn't ask for your help fire *****- dont test my patients any more because you can bet it wont be ending well'.
Her eyes are ablaze again with fury watching them all. She takes a hold of the oxen and starts to guide them away, searching for a normal person to ask for directions and get to Gundren.
OCC- Yeh sorry, also not trying to be rude. That wasn't going to go down well when it was a member of your party that got us into this mess.
Aramila rolls her eyes when she hears Elizars voice again and a sinister smile forms on her lips as she continues to speak. She looks down and chuckles lightly, now on the verge of dangerously mad. Looking back up, her eyes are once again engulfed by flames and her hair sparks angrily for a second, yet she appears to be the calmest she has ever been; in fact, it is almost as if she finds Elizar's outburst rather amusing. "My apologies, we interrupted you cutting out his tongue and being the big guy, didn't we?" she sarcastically mocks her with a smirk and minimises the space between them even more when she hears the name Elizar calls her. "You should watch yourself, the last time someone called me that, i killed them before they had a chance to regret it." She maliciously grins; watching as Elizar begins to walk away.
Before Elizar can reach the oxen, Estelle weaves her way in front of her way in front of her with an outstretched arm. Whispering sharply, "Watch your tongue, before i cut it out. That's my leader you're talking to," her hair sways violently for a split second before settling again. Without breaking eye contact, she projects her voice loud enough for the party to hear, "I have a guide to take us there, let's avoid creating a bigger scene till we obtain our rewards." Finishing her sentence, she holds Elizar's gaze for a few more seconds before taking hold of the oxen's reins and leading them to the halfling she had conversed with.
OCC - this is a combined post yo, Ameera and I each wrote our parts but thought it would run smoother together.
Se'air had lingered at the back of the group during the entire encounter, head bowed in steadily increasing exasperation the more the two argued. Oh really. Okay. Wow, harsh. Fire *****? Oh my... Reactions that all played within his mind as he listened. Girls...seriously now.Oh no, Now would be a good time to interject. I can calm Aramila easy, but as long as the fuel is added to the fire, the flames will not be tamed. Elizar, is the fuel.
He speaks, voice as soft as ever, yet commanding enough to be heard, addressing Elizar but not moving from his position - "This situation can only go two ways from here, both of these things are in your control. He begins making his way towards her, as he continues to speak, eventually reaching her and lowering his voice, walking beside her "the first...you and my leader may battle it out, one of you kills the other - a violent act of pride, where the winner gets to walk away with nothing but the blood on their hands. In my opinion? Not worth it. He turns to face her as he continues "The second, is you reign in the anger, hold on to it, then unleash it when there is a cause worth killing for. Believe me, this petty bickering will help you achieve nothing..." He stops for a moment as he remembers Elizar's 'For Gundren' battle cry from the day before, '...we are wasting time, don't you think you should focus this energy on the beings who have attacked Gundren's goods?
He leaves it as an open question, hoping he has hit a soft spot by mentioning Gundren, yet cautious that he may have made the situation worse.
Elizar listens to Se'air....her temper slowly but surely easing to the softness of his voice. She looks at his eyes as he speaks and there is a calm in them that transfers into hers.
He was right, she knew this. Although she was very hot tempered, it was not something that she did not work on. On the outside, her walls were high and harsh, but on the inside was always a heart that had vowed to help the weaker, even disregarding her own self.
She looks at Aramila, although she had lost her temper with her and this whole frustrating situation, she was aware that Aramila had indeed just helped her....and once again, her frustration was something she, of all people, could understand.
Looking back at Se'air she lets out a sigh. 'You are right, lets not waste any more time' she says simply as she unfastens her water flask and takes a long cool drink.
the Halfling looks a little unsure as the party approaches "Your all together right?" he asks uncertainly eyeing the fuming women before shaking his head and continuing without waiting for an answer. “it doesn’t matter – this way to Barthen provisions” he holds his arm out to the side indicating the way
“Name’s Carp by the way, you lot staying long in Phandalin?” he converses as he leads you down the road “don’t usually get much travelers here but of late we have a had a few. Used to be a nicer place before those damned Redbrands moved in” you see Carp glaring as two individuals wearing grimy scarlet cloaks matching the cloaks that Jeb & Dave wore make their way down the road laughing and shoving anyone not quick enough to get out of their way. Carp spits to the side wipes his mouth and motions around the bend “this way”

Elizar, now a little calmer, picks up pace and walks beside Carp.
'Im sure you would remember if a dwarf passed through here Carp? He goes by the name of Gundren....'
She was not sure if she was to find Gundren at the place they now headed, however, if he had passed through , then she would be a little more at ease atleast.
he strokes his light chin fluff as he thinks "hmm the name doesn't ring a bell but there are a few dwarves around, mayhaps your friend Gundren is one of them" he shrugs his shoulders "head to the Stonehill inn once you're done here, if he has come through then you're bound to find someone there who's seen him" he chuckles lightly "may be you find him still there with his face in a jug of ol' Toblin's Ale"

Estelle listen to Carp talk, wanting to ask him a question but being beaten to it by Elizar. Deciding her question could wait until further suspicion, she uses the time to survey the town. How were the citizens looking at them? After all they did make a scene...And the Redbrands, had she seen them before? Did they perhaps have a symbol she could recognize? Do they mean trouble?
You look around expecting all eyes to be on you but most folk seem to be minding their own business, in fact if anything they seem to be doing everything they can to not look at the party.
Your sharp eyes pick a few quick glances made at Carp who has now come to your side, his head bobbing just slightly higher than your hips "yeah most folk think ima fool to be helping Travellers out when the Redbrands are causing shite for anyone out of place" he throws his hands up in the air as he talks "but ykno, **** em, i dont answer to these tossbags and i would drive em out in a heart beat if i had the power or men behind me" he looks up at you noticing both your eyes, his cheeks colouring as he blushes suddenly "begging your pardon miss, i shouldn't be filling your ears with my garbage" he hastily steps ahead, directing the wagon into a large open shelter, appearing to be part stable and part storage and attached to a larger building made of log. A young male human is tending to a few horses while another is atop a ladder arranging crates of goods.
"That's it now just through here then folks, oi Ander, Thistle, is Elmar in?" calls Carp as he guides you in. "ah yes, ill just go get him" responds the closest boy before rushing into the building through a thick wooden door. The other boy almost falls off of the ladder in his haste to come down, brushes himself off and comes forward eyes down and red faced. He takes the reins from Estelle and parks the cart off to the side without saying a word.
A moment later the door swings open again and a balding elder human male steps out taking you all in, bushy brows furrowed before breaking into a smile. "ah my apologies, I was expecting someone else but where are my manners, welcome to my trading post friends, how can i be of service?"
"Ah that would be me good sir, Elmar Barthen at your service" he gives a small respectful bow "Have you come to trade friend? Shall i have the boys unload your cargo and see what your offering? Im sure you and i can come to agreement over some tea although i must warn you, i am a haggler" he chuckles to himself "Perhaps your companions would prefer resting at the local inn whilst we conduct our business?" He runs his eyes over the group again returning to you Cit'rine "What did you say your name was?"

Citrine stares at the man for second, eyes wide and still smiling- "oh"
He straightens and in moments he becomes someone else- he changes posture, brings his eyebrows slightly together and adjusts his tongue ready to speak more clearly. He is now a serious business man, a young merchant on the rise and he was here to make some money.....even if that meant selling the "probably dead" dwarfs belongings.
"Darzan Emerich is the name, tea will be sufficient, my men will unload the cargo then make the own arrangements and i warn you ser...." he takes a step forward, hands still behind his back. "I am here to strike a profitable bargain." He grins at the older man and holds out his hand.

Aramilla you watch closely from a little way back, you observed as Elmar went from excited to disappointed as he stepped out of his shop, who had he expected? he seems genuinely friendly and although suspicion had flashed across his eyes momentarily, he now seemed excited at the prospect of some serious business negotiations with Darzan.
"Thistle cover the shop front and Ander you help these fine people unload their cargo and bring anything small enough to fit in the door to my office where i will be viewing them along with Mr. Darzan here, we will return to view the larger items once we are done with the smaller." he pushes and holds the door open smiling at Cit'rine while he instructs the boys "Oh and Ander, do be careful with the goods or you will be losing more than just a days wage this time hmm" he holds his gaze a moment before returning to Cit'rine "Please come on in Master Darzan, any tea in particular that takes your fancy?" he says as he invites you inside.
Cit'rine is pulling of the appearance of a well established Merchant to which Elmar, who has completely fallen to his deception, is treating you as such. Thanks to the natural 20, he is showing you respect and bringing you inside for tea before he has even looked at what you are offering.
