Kevori gasps when the elemental creature rises from the water. She barely has time to pull out a crossbow before Erven rushes out and engages with the creature. Taking aim, she fires a bolt towards the creature.
Crossbow Attack: 23 Damage: 11
Bahrumuhd cocks an eyebrow at the creature's words. The Undying One? Sounded like the cult they found followed some sort of undead thing. Undying was a popular theme for the undead.
He looks down at the sludge and murky water, very unexcited at the prospect of walking through it. Taking courage, that Erven was more than fine charging through it, Mud grimaces and starts wading out into its depths. He only takes a few steps in before stopping, the water only coming up to his shins. Concentrating, he raises a hand up to his side, and a whip of crackling lightning suddenly materializes. The dragonborn lashes out with it, and it strikes the elemental before forcible dragging it 10 feet closer to him and the rest of the group. Erven does get shocked a little bit through the water when the whip strikes the creature, and Mud quickly realizes this when he sees the man's expression. "Sorry!" He calls out. "Forgot that lightning and water don't mix."
((Cast Lightning Lure with Distant metamagic. I rolled an 8 for the creature's save to save time, so it's now only 20 feet away from the shore.))
"We'll see about that!" Khessa counters the watery monster's threats.
In an instant, the blonde arcane warrior is on the other side of the opponent from Erven, kicking up splashes of dirty, smelly water as she rapidly approaches, and brings down her Greatsword in a powerful diagonal slash.
"Claim this instead!" the tall adventurer growls, while the heavy blade cuts through the liquid form.
If Lance is still within 5ft of it after Mud moved it, the first attack it makes (provided it isn't against Lance) will be at disadvantage due to its reaction
The dark-haired young man sees the scarred elf and the blonde warrioress fearlessly engage the weird watery woman in melee, impressed by their resolute action. He was never one for close up altercations himself, instead using his tricksy magic to swiftly curse the enemy before unleashing a greenish beam of eldritch force towards it.
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
The creature lets out an inhuman roar of pain as a flurry of blows rain down upon it. Disorientated, the creature falls back into the water with great splash. All is calm for a moment as the tainted water ripples and sends small waves towards the shore. Then, Khessa suddenly feels something slam into get from under the water. Something has a hold of her, and it’s trying to drag her under!
Constrict attack against Kesha: Attack: 16 Damage: 14 bludgeoning damage. If the target is Medium or smaller, it is grappled (escape DC 13) and pulled 5 feet toward the water weird. Until this grapple ends, the target is restrained, the water weird tries to drown it, and the water weird can't constrict an other target. ((If it hits, it’ll pull Khessa down into the water, so she’ll e out of sight))
((Note: while submerged, the water weird is invisible, so Lance’s imposed disadvantage is negated by the invisibility advantage))
Erven is relieved when he sees the small wave of water miss Khessa, but he uses that opportunity to strike out in a counter attack. He swings his short sword again, hopefully connecting with the weird watery creature.
Shortsword of warning (at disadvantage) : 18 to hit, for 12 points of piercing damage.

A wizard is never late, nor is he early, he arrives precisely when he means to.
Tabitharuns on top of the water due to her Ring of Water Walking and then brings her mace (infused so magical) down onto the water by Khessa.
12to hit (5, 5 and a 2 from lucky....), 11magical bludgeoning.
She then commands Lance to attack. 14(5,14+6+3 from bardic inspiration) for 5force damage, as the horns vibrate and release a very short pulse on impact.
Seeing his new brave friends practically swarm the atricious aquatic apparition, the dark-haired young man unleashes another greenish beam of eldritch force from his outstretched hand.
Khessa, galvanized by a deep sense of camaraderie, upon seeing the whole group fighting with bravery and determination against the aquatic monster, swings her heavy blade, cutting the water several times in the same direction from which she felt being attacked.
After much fruitless swinging and splashing around in the pool, Tabitha finally manages to strike a blow against the creature. She feels her mace connect with something that offered resistance, and suddenly the air is filled with an anguished cry that causes the water to ripple and shudder. "His Eye is upon you..." the elemental's voice whispers ominously as its essence dissolves back into the filth that many of you now wade in. The water begins to calm down now that the creature is gone. Turns out that 8 heavily armed adventurers can easily defeat creatures made of water.
"Well, that was rather anti-climatic," Bahrumuhd grumbles as he lowers his hands, the lightning crackling along his arms sputtering to a stop. "Hope nobody heard us."

Ketangu is surprises to see the creature rise out of the murky water and wonders if this creature is some sort of distant cousin to plasmoids.
Since he dislikes the water so he will stand at the edge of the water. He then removes a dart from his pack and hurls it at the creature.
