Darian tosses two freshly skinned desert hares, approximately 6 pounds total, to the floor at the feet of the lead kobold, “And rabbits,” he attempts to sweeten the deal before looking at Nare apologetically.
Seeing that negotiations are being attempted Arvos will dismiss the flames in his hands and waits to see how the kobolds respond to the offer of water and hunted rabbit.
The leader kobold looks to Albert, then back to Darian. He barks at Darian in Yipyak.
"Does this elder speak for you, Hachakee man?"
He tilts his head curiously when Darian offers the rabbits in place of Ne'haredowell. The leader's eyes narrow as he considers the offer. The other two close in a bit, moving toward the dead rabbits on the ground greedily, and the leader relaxes a bit.
"Trespass forgiven. Bring bucket of water and go away!"
"Uh."Was all Nare had to say for the moment. He watches around for his comrade's reactions, exceptionally glad that no one said 'okay'. Although the confrontation itself was enough for himself to freeze up and he stood there unblinking. He cursed these infuriating rabbit instincts. The thoughts that ran through his mind were no less unhelpful. Sure he'd thought he go out one day like this... but not like this. Not like lunch!
Watching the two skinned rabbits flop lifeless to the ground made the degree of separation he had between himself and them all the more blurry. His hands clenched up. He opened his mouth to say a word of thank you to Darian but couldn't. It was made all the more visceral when the kobolds actually took the offering in exchange for him. He wondered what others made of him. His fur bristled. He shuffled uncomfortable in his position. "Thank you."
Albert without hesitation pulls out the possibly magical (most likely cursed) idol figurine he got for treating the sick, shows it to kobolds and says: "Or, we can trade this idol for the supply crates you took. It hosts a powerful god inside. With this, you would rule this region!"
Gonna use the inspiration I got from setting up the Mishakal shrine to roll deception with advantage. 13 + 3 from self guidance = 16
Bran continues to watch and listen to Albert, Nare and Arvos conduct negotiations, while very slight tremors travel through his entire body.
"Hows it all going Company?
Bran continues to watch and listen; realising Darian fails to continue communicating with the Kobolds. The slight tremors continue to interfere with his body.
"Ahhh Hows it going Company??" Bran asks again with the beginnings of concern.
"Well Bran not that good, but better than expected though we are in the midst of bargaining for the crates." says Arvos. He then walks forward a bit and asks the Kobolds "What do you want in exchange for all of the stolen crates of supplies?"
"It's ... is ... going."Nare pushes down the mask lower down his face. Holding his breath with Darian's failed attempt at chit chat, he pets the small mouse whose head pokes out of his pocket. 'Wait- mouse.'He lightly pokes Lennie, pushing him down further into his pocket. 'If these kobolds are willing to eat me they are willing to eat anything.'
((Insight: 6 + 2 = 8))
He nods at Arvos before he suddenly gasps. With his prestidigitation he makes it appear that the idol is glowing, a faint orange light. Almost like it is on fire. He also uses it to give the kobold in front of him some shower of sparks coming out of their clawed hand as if the idol itself was giving that kobold power. Jumping back, feigning terror, he shouts. "Oh gods! It's calling to them."
The lead kobold jumps in surprise at this new development. Whatever jumbled mess of a sentence Darian was trying to say was easily forgotten at the sight of this new treasure. Then the sight of the idol spurting forth with life cause the leader to yap at it excitedly.
At the mention of the crates, the leader looks to Albert nervously. "You want crates?" the other kobolds get nervous about the leader talking and start barking nervously to shut him up, but the leader raises a hand to silence them. He picks up the idol and inspects it. His eyes widen with shock and his grin is almost crocodilian in nature. "Good trade." He gestures to another kobold to come and grab the coneys. "I take you to queen. You ask for crates. Drop weapons first." He looks at Darian, presuming him to be the leader and waits for compliance.
The kobold looks at Albert skeptically. Your argument may be compelling, but no kobold in their right mind would willingly take you to see their queen fully armed and unfettered. But at least now he doesn't seem angry with you.
He points at your staff, then slowly and loudly annunciates in the most precise common he can muster "You... staff... down. Then you.." he points a finger at Albert's chest, "see... queeen." he frames his head like he's making a crown.
Well, at least he doesn't think your a threat anymore. Now he just thinks you're kind of stupid.
Darian drops his weapons and keeps his hands visible. “I go. No… trouble. Talk only.” he says, resorting to Common while signalling to the others to remain calm.
Nare can't help but slightly chuckle at the kobold's bit. He puts his hand to his mouth to stifle it to no avail. He keeps up with his illusions though, hoping that the trick would just work.
"Can I keep mine? You all seem to want to eat me."He says that a bit too bluntly, clutching onto the daggers and looking around.
((Persuasion: 8 + 2 = 10))
Once he sees that that doesn't work he relents. "Ugh, fine." He places down his two daggers into their sheaths (or on the ground whatever the kobolds meant by putting it away). He puffs out his chest though, trying to look as big as possible as birds do.

This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
Bran stays where he is, glad not to be noticed by the kobolds.
He whispers to anyone nearby, to anyone who will listen to him ... 'I can't go with you if you go the Queen... I can't let go of the scythe!!' , he continues ... "your going to be on your own if anything goes wrong!!
He's worried, he doesn't want to see his team mates getting into any trouble and he can't be there to defend them.

Arvos will put down his sheathed scimitar as he has other ways to fight if it comes to it. He waits to see what the others do.
Albert is hesitant to drop his staff. He sasses about it a bit: "How rude of you, to take away walking stick of an old man". Still drops it.
Rubs his holy symbol and mutters: "I really don't want to end in a kobold cavern of all things, look out for me please!"
