Krack was born into a pack of fanatical kobolds. They all believed that they would transcend into dragons one day. He never believed it, and he accepted that he was a kobold. He admired the passion of the rest of the pack for their plan and often wondered why he had no plan. His only real joy, was sneaking out and exploring the woods above ground, alone.
Everything changed that one morning. He had been out all night, exploring a new part of the woods, alone. He came across a cave, practically stumbled upon it, when he heard a loud cry. A creature he had never seen before, exploded out of the cage, grabbed him with a large taloned foot, and lifted him into the air. Such terror! But as the creature broke through the trees, heading towards the clouds, K'arack Gen'arack Thren'then'a'rack was in awe. He saw the land, his woods, from above. It was a marvelous, miraculous sight. It was beautiful
And then he was falling. And that was beautiful also. The wind blowing in his face, causing his eyes to water. This, he thought. THIS! And then he hit the water.
He woke up later that day, on the edge of a small body of water, his arm broken, a few ribs also. He stood, got his bearings best he could, and started to limp his way back in the direction of his home.
