The litany on Barakas robe hummed and he heard the litany being intoned within his head. The writing on the robe started moving and glowed silver. Bahamut was listening.
The warrior priest kneels and performs a short prayer "Raei, hear my plea, Grant us strength and victory. Shield us from the enemy's might, Fill us with your guiding light. Let your power flow through me, In this battle, I will stand, Guided by your gentle hand."
She stands and dusts off her knees.
"Let's go kick some scales."

"............anybody got any potatoes? We could drop a potato in each hole an' see which ones get viciously mauled by horrible monsters?"
The party walks slowly southeast from Dragons Rest to the head of the bay, where a rough path cuts across the island to the eastern bay. This is the route that Barakas took, and that Runara had shown Krack.
Clambering over the rocky ground of Stormwreck Isle, you spot strange, twisted protrusions of glassy crystal jutting from the earth. The vegetation in this area bears reddish branching scars that form similar shapes. Suddenly you hear a screeching roar and notice a winged, glittering blue shape swooping overhead.
Sparkrender, he seems to be looking for something, hopefully not you. Fear twists your stomachs, like all dragons he can make his prey afraid. Has he seen you yet? What are you going to do about it, he is turning for another run. Just for food or for you?
Sparkrender turns and stoops above you. You feel the dragon fear wash over you again. Both the litany on Theodor and Barakas lights up and begins to sing inside their heads. You hear a high pitched bleat and scream, one of the islands wild sheep was struggling in his talons. He circled once again then headed home to the Observatory. You sigh with relief.
You look around and discover that Barakas isn't with you. The cloaked person leading the way pulls down his hood...Tarak. He wears a set of supple leather armour with 3 knives and a shortbow. Barakas is back at the Temple, he has had a crisis of faith and no longer wishes to take life I am here to help you. Come we follow the ridge of the island it is both beautiful and dangerous.
(OOC I have PMed Barakas and he has not responded so I have no option other than to add an NPC to the party. If he comes back to us it will be easy to slot him back in.)
She follows the guide, taking in the sights and smells of the trail. This island could be such a restful place and she is proud of what she and her companions have accomplished so far. Hopefully the group is up to the task of dealing with the dragon.

Barakas
He sees the party right in front of him and jumps towards them. A coin lands in front of them, as he embraces both Krack and Shayla "Don't tell me you missed me. Tarak no worries, I can take it from here. Guys I'm sorry for the delay, I was worrying to be a burden again while helping you out. But them I remembered how red is a beatiful colour." He points in the direction of the Observatory "Ready for a tour?"
Tarak turns with a smile and gestures to Barakas to take the lead. He doesn't turn automatically for the Temple but heads off down to a coastal path a bag appearing out of nowhere. He has gone to collect herbs that grow in the wild and not the garden.
The party follows Barakas. A broken and overgrown path winds to the edge of the cliff. The overlook is marked by two marble statues veined with gold, each carved in the shape of a dragon with its mouth open in a silent roar.

Shayla ducks down and tries to seek cover behind the strange plants and rocks, bow at the ready.

"Agreed, let us continue. By Bahamut's grace this Sparkrender shall fall."
He starts walking, only to realise it was the way they came from. Turning back around, he clears his throat, "Ehem... Uh, Barakas, lead the way."
