Theo wakes up pretty early, a habit from working at a smithy. He has his tools out, doing some last minute tinkering on both of his guns. Theo finishes packing up a sturdy case, and twirls his Pepperbox on his finger a couple times. “Alright guys, it’s time to show you off,” he whispers to them. “You’re going to do amazing, I know it.”

Theo makes sure he has his tools and ammunition in his pack, the Pepperbox on his hip, and the case in his hand as he goes down for breakfast.

Figgles holds his siblings' toy and says his vow to vanquish the evil that took his family away. Once finished he puts the toy away and gets dressed in his fuzzy pink vest, hat and bow tie; he straps on his quarterstaff and dagger before heading from the room.

For those who are awake and ready. The smell of bacon, maple syrup on pancakes, and smoked sausage. Hits your nose likes a warm breeze. You can hear various regional chanties being played and sung. A variety of colors as the locals gather around to meet the new visitors. There is almost a different textures that you can touch. Grandm Emory has activated a special enchantment that makes the wood into a dark stone feeling, it gives a warmth to the touch. There are also vendors selling some trinkets. As well there is a goblin and bugbear showing off a bat that creates an electric arcs and it rings a bell. //what does everyone do

Nathan selects several thick slices of bacon, looking for any of the others from the night before.  He can’t help but check out the electric bat and bell display, “Say there, what is this you two are demonstrating?”

“Why friend, this Tubo, he is the wave of the future. Soon we use the gifts of the Wild Mother, to change all of Exandria. It’s called electricity, see how it works.” The Bugbear blows whistle. The bat glows touches the bell, it then rings. 
Some of the crowd around Nathan, cheers. “By the way my name is Pork and this lovely lady is partner Beans.” Pork takes a bow and then grabs Bean’s hand. Pork says “Here is once and lifetime offer, for only 10gp you can be part of history” he says with smile, staring at Nathan.

“I’m very interested but what can I do with such an item how do you activate this electric bell?”  Nathan actually begins thinking of a nightly door alarm… hmm could it work for that?

As he thinks of its uses he fishes out 8 gold coins, “Oh um well tell me how it could be used please.”

“So my friend, how this work is we have trained Tumo, to zap the bell. Only after he bites an orange. Tips charge right now only rings the bell.” Pork quickly puts his hand out. 

Jorie stares at the bat and bell display, confused but intrigued. He watches the explanation from the side and carefully takes in the performance of the Bugbear and Goblin, he tries to discern if they really believe this new technology will change Exandria, or is it all a ruse?

Nathan puts his coins away, “This is too confusing.  First he blows a whistle now he bites an orange, I can’t understand how you activate it.”  Nathan pulls out his trinket, “Now this is electricity also it responds to water.” He dribbles a few drops on top and…

Jorie enamoured by the explanation, moves in closer.

"How will this change Exandria?"

Nathan quietly slips away.  He then attempts to find Master Figgles, if he finds the tabaxi illusionist, “Master Figgles you and I really should consider aiding one another, after all Jorie has made it seem our assembly last night was not just happenstance.  I propose we are open and transparent with one another.”  Nathan will try to guide the conversation to a discreet table or bench slip out his spell book and share what spells he has if Master Figgles would care to record them in exchange for the same courtesy.

Josie

“See my young Pateron, this proof of concept, once we have enough investors.

We will open a bat farm, and put down small wires. So that small village can have lights. That’s another invention we currently working on.” Pork looks at Josie to see if there is any understanding.

Theo gets tickets for the pie eating contest and the maze.

Tickets are passed out, and you all head for your various destinations.

Jorie is taken in by the display, and the little bat, a creature of the night warms his heart.

"I would love to invest. Here." Jorie hands Pork and Beans ten gold pieces. "My name is Jorie, can't wait to see how your invention changes Exandria!"

Feeling excited about the festival, Jorie can't decide what he would like to do. He is overwhelmed by the noise and commotion.

Jorie finally decides on the Maze, Paddywhack, and the Horizonback herding.

Subis will ask "Anyone going to the Call to Arms?" If no one is he'll offer to meet the team for lunch. 

“You know what? Sure. Why not?” Theo says to Subis, and he gets a ticket. “If it’s anything about strength, though, then I’m toast. Hopefully I’ll be able to try my weapons.”
