(Holy cr@% you guys post a lot! Good thing Valji is so short and able to avoid unwanted kobold attention... Also, is there a map somewhere that I missed? Earlier Sparlock was talking about kobolds by their number, which implies there was a map...)
The gnome wizard, who has been tagging along the whole night but always lagging a few steps behind (because of his smaller stride...), finally catches up to you in the shadows. "Oh my, we need to do something about them! Shall I send them a little love? A hunka hunka burning love?!!? It could alert the others to their presence, too!"
(If the group agrees, Valji will cast Fire Bolt and toss the flame at the robed figures (120 ft range). Attack: 6 Damage: 10 )
"I'm certainly no battlefield commander, but perhaps one of us can run ahead to warn the guards while the rest of us each try to get the jump on these invaders? Those of you with battle experience, what do you think is the best move? We probably ought to commit quickly."
"That may work. But we may not need to alert the guards. Me and Skiaceq can attack from behind and lure them back a bit then disperse before you unleash your spell to disable them. It should alert the guards while at the same time giving us the upper hand over our enemies when we attack again."
OOC: Point of clarification: Since we're currently unseen, is this a situation where each of us can take a surprise round turn before the initiative order begins? If so is that ordered by initiative as well? I can't remember ATM how exactly that all works. About to head out, so presuming there is going to be an initiative roll at some point I'll give you mine now so whoever is ahead doesn't need to wait:
Initiative: 17
And as appropriate, Quarion would target whatever the tightest clump of bad guys is with sleep, for a total of ... 26hit points worth of folks
Skiaceq snatches a small stone and inspects it. Too small to injure, but solid enough to hurt. He winds up and hurls it with all his might over the heads of the kobolds at the closest guard.
The rock lands harmlessly to the side of the guard. The kobold he's fighting looks over toward Skiaceq for a brief second before being impaled on the guards spear. The guard, satisfied with his kill, slowly backs up out of view behind a house, falling back and searching for his next opponent.

Seeing an opportunity, and deciding that holding back any more would not only be dentrimental to the people of the city, but also to his new companions he unsheaths his great sword and runs towards the nearest kobold, swinging down in an angled arch to cut it's feet from underneath it.

Urokris runs towards the enemy party. Focused as they are on the quarry, they don't see him until he is around 30ft away from the nearest kobold. The townsfolk accompanying the party flee towards the open portcullis of the keep.
Skiaceq reaches for another stone, but stops when he realizes it's a shard of topaz-like stone. He turns it over in his palm, admiring the translucent gleam before pocketing it. Then he moves up to support Urokris at the front.

As Urokris is closing the distance, Valji's Fire Bolt sails over the heads of the the enemies, harmlessly singing some blades of grass.
Perception rolls to see if the guards notice the fire ball and look in the direction of the approaching enemies:
Guard 1: 14
Guard 2: 19
Dwarf: 13
The dwarf standing in the portcullis notices the flash and looks over to see the beginnings of a clash to the north of the keep. He says a word to one of the guards, and you hear the sound of a horn coming from the keep as one of the guards signals to the main force to let them know of the approaching threat.

As Urokris takes off and Valji's fire bolt sails overhead, Quarion draws closer to the flanking party in order to be in range for a spell attack [90 ft], walking quietly and trying to find a house to hide behind so as to be out of the enemy's line of sight.
"Tar and stagnation!"Valji curses as his fire bolt completely misses its target. He follows the rest of the group, moving about 20 feet towards the keep, before repeating his arcane words and hurling another fire bolt at the robed figures.
Ranged SpellAttack: 20 Flame Damage: 10
"That's more like it! Eat some heat, you ruffians! The End of Days will not happen tonight if I can help it!!"
Since Rhanloi hasn't rolled initiative, I'm going to assume he didn't realize we re-rolled after that aborted combat yesterday, and since Phentalius can't roll higher than a 19, Skiaceq is up, followed by the cultists, the townsfolk, and then Urokris.
Quarion finds a good spot to hide behind a barrel next to a house a good distance away from the action, yet close enough that he can shoot his spells off.

Assessing the situation, Skiaceq decides to cull the enemy numbers quickly. He bursts into a short sprint, kicks up and lets his wings carry him toward the nearest kobold, feet outstretched.
Unarmed Strike: 24 Damage: 6
Bonus Action: 22 Damage: 7
His talons clamp onto the beast's shoulders. Then, as his inertia carries him forward, he grabs its face with his hands and slashes downward with every talon on his hands and feet.

Blitz Keir:
The first attack kills the Kobold you targeted if you want to move the second attack to the next one.
The robed figures look in surprise at the sudden attack by the winged creature, not expecting the speed and ferocity of the assault. One of them rushes toward Skiaceq, drawing a scimitar and deftly slashing at the exposed monk.
Attack: 14 Damage: 2
The other two rush towards the rest of the party together, leaving Skiaceq to the Kobolds and their ally. The first rushes Urokris, trying unsuccessfully to find any exposed dragonborn flesh through which to rend.
Attack: 12 Damage: 6
The third and final robed figure follows behind him. The moonlight reveals this third robed figure to be a woman, though her drawn scimitar shows she's not to be to be trifled with. Unable to find an opening, she assumes a defensive stance, ready to attack the next foe to approach.
The townsfolk continuing running for the keep, protected by Kalji's spells as he keeps back from the action and works his way to the keep. His Firebolt flies true, striking the cultist closest to Skiaceq. The cultist screams and kneels to the ground for a brief moment before standing back up weakly, trying to fight through the pain and continue the attack.

Urokris watches as the robed figure rushes towards him and deflects the attack with his sword and immediately follows it with a counter swing in an upward diagonal arch, aiming to cut through his assailant's torso.

You all have a bit of leeway to position yourselves, btw. I assume Urokris is taking the lead. Did he dash to get to the enemy reinforcements?
