Tengen, you head into the room the ghost-woman came out of. You find it to be an elegantly appointed bedroom covered with dust and cobwebs everywhere. It looks like no one has been in here for decades. It has a large bed with two end tables and a wardrobe. There is an ornate full-length mirror next to the wardrobe with carvings of ivy and berries, though as you look closer, you do see some eyeballs mixed into the berries. A pair of double doors to your right as you face into the room lead out onto a balcony. An open doorway on one wall reveals a crib covered with a black hanging shroud. Finally, you notice that the mirror seems to not hang quite properly on the wall.
Arkanon, you walk to the open doors to this room, thanks to the thaumaturgy from earlier. There are panes of dusty stained glass set in them with a distinctive windmill pattern, one you saw on the shield in the entry of the house. Dust and cobwebs likewise fill this room, clinging to the tattered burgundy drapes pulled over the windows. A four-poster bed dominates much of the room, even if the once-expensive embroidered curtains and gossamer veils now lie in ruins. A pair of wardrobes, a vanity with a wood-framed mirror and a jewelry box, and a padded chair make up most of the remaining furniture. There is a tiger skin rug, or at least the rotting remains of one, in front of the fireplace. Above the mantel is a painting of two stoic looking figures in strange garb. There is a small parlor space in one corner, with a table and two chairs choked with cobwebs. The table has an empty porcelain bowl and matching jug. Finally, a door facing the foot of the bed has a full-length mirror mounted on it, though a simple push of the door reveals an empty-dust-choked closet. You can see through glass panes in the parlor door that there is another balcony. Strangely, no light seems to really be coming in through those glass panes. If you glance outside, you note that you can see nothing through the mist that now surrounds the house.
Rosa, there are two remaining doors (one across from the master suite and another to the left of the entrance to the ghost-woman's room of origin. Which would you like to explore first?
"If there be monsters here, shouldn't we stick together, lads?" Muirdan asks the rapidly emptying room. "Of course not, nobody ever listens to the dwarf. Might as well follow the bleeding one, he's easy to track," he grumbles under his breath as he follows Rosa.
Tengen slowly walks through the room, her fingers tracing over one of the eyes hidden in the woodwork of the mirror. A small shiver runs down her spine at the discovery and she turns apprehensively to the crib and its shroud. Steeling herself, she reaches forward, gripping the corner of the black shroud whilst her other hand holds her holy symbol tight enough for her knuckles to whiten. She finally manages to pull back the shroud.

Rosa, as you enter the room across from the master suite, you find it to be a bathroom. This dark room contains a wooden tub with clawed feet, a small iron stove with a kettle resting atop it, and a barrel under a spigot in the wall immediately to your right as you walk in. Muirdan, you can see much the same if Rosa moves further into the space at all.
Tengen and Grythek, as you pull back the shroud, you see a muted gray, tightly wrapped, baby-sized bundle lying in the crib. You see no motion and hear no sound.
OOC: I was out of town running a half-marathon with my wife for our anniversary. I am back now, if a bit more sore. lol
Milamber enters the room the lady had exited and begins to look around to see if he can sense any origins of the phantasm. Noticing the mirror he approaches it and looks at his reflection.

You can't sense much of anything in that avenue. However, as you look at the mirror you notice the same details as Tengen did earlier. Your reflection is as normal as it ever is.
Tengen breathes a sigh of relief and then turns to investigate the mirror which she had noticed wasn't sitting quite right earlier when she looked through the room.

You pull the mirror out and reveal a hidden door that swings into the room smoothly. In the dark beyond, you can see the foot of a set of rough-hewn wooden steps leading up through a cobweb filled passage.
Dusty shelves line the walls of this room. A few of the shelves have folded sheets, blankets, and old bars of soap on them. A cobweb-covered broom leans against the far wall, some 10 feet away.
Seeing the secret passageway Milamber calls out loudly. "There is a hidden passageway here! I will make sure no one comes through it while you all check out the other rooms. But we need to check this out!"

Hearing Milamber call out, Arkanon steps out of the room and goes into the one they're in, a hand casually resting on the pommel of his sheathed sword. "A hidden passageway, you say?"
Rosa also comes out of the bathroom saying, "There's nothing in there, hang on a second while I check this last room." He'll go into the last room to make sure the child isn't there.

Tengen's throat tightens but she pushes ahead and examines the bundle, carefully peeling it back and expecting the worst.

As you peel open the fabric, it falls open revealing nothing. The bundle is completely empty.
Arkanon steps out of the room and stands next to the stairway.
