As you travel you hear plenty of birds singing and bugs buzzing about. The two rangers are able to easily spot several active animal trails through the underbrush leading this way and that. This forest has plenty of game for the hunt.
Just about an hour passes and Erdon can feel the last of the poison wearing off. His metal friend helped him tremendously on the way. Just up ahead you can see the trail splits and there is a clearing in the thick trees.
roll some perception checks. At least 2 of you.
Dungho:
This appears to be the camp spot you are looking for
"Julius" would be remaining away from the party, wearing some baggy like clothing, he would be looking away from everyone seeming to admire the trees, something was clearly off.
Writing in a notebook, absent mindedly following along writing in a notebook bound in tight leather, a copper lock hanging from it. The pen seems to have a small area in it that’s filled with a single bolt of lightning crackling around quickly
( i assume you only get paralyzed if you got dropped to zero)
OOC - I had to look it up. You are correct.
The paralysis is linked to the poison, but only kicks in if the poison reduces the target to 0 hit points. Poisoned also doesn't have it's own additional saves (in the case of the Giant Spider, once you are not poisoned, you are not paralyzed).

Erdon now refocused on his travels looks around and notices something is a bit odd about Julius. He thinks he'll need to check on Julius maybe later on.

Erdon, feelin very much better with the time and healing notices several trees knocked down not far off the road, like something large had barreled through there at some point
Edena, smelling campfire smoke coming from the clearing, whispers ahead, "Dungho, is this the spot you wanted to camp? Seems someone else beat us here. Can anybody see who it is?"
Once you reach the clearing, you see some tents set up and a small camp fire, still burning though it looks like it needs tending to in order to keep it that way. You do not see any occupants or other gear, at least outside of the tents.
You get no response to your greeting and when you enter the camp, you find the tents empty with no gear left behind. There are plenty of foot prints about and some remains of half done whittled sticks and some bones near the fire pit that look like maybe chicken or other bird that was cooked. Everything appears safe and secure and apart from the still burning fire, cleaned out and ready for new occupants. From the amount of coals in the pit, you surmise the fire had been quite big at some point the prior evening or set up for long burn.
Dungho will return to the party and relay what he has discovered.
” tis empty. It seems the previous campers have left it clean. The politely left us empty tents and a fire to boot. Can’t ask for much better luck, says I”
Edena walks into the campground. "It does look pretty empty, but they are likely to come back. Wonder if they got chased away or went to chase after something? Anyways, lets set up here," gesturing to a spot empty of tents, on the other side of the campfire. "I can set an alarm to let us know if they come back, if you want."

"Julius was looking at his right away from the party watching the bushes, if anyone noticed a black feather would fall from his covered hand.
You can smell a camp fire up ahead.
