Silk looks down from the top of the wagon at the kobold walking twds the wagon still holding a dagger…
”you ok, seems you survived the fight. What were those goblins yelling at you. They didn’t seem to like you much. For that matter they didn’t seem to like us being here.”
Aldri beelines straight for Sharkbait and hoists him off his feet before carrying back to the others where he drops him on the floor. Aldri pokes him while frowning severely, “You kobold, explain now. How do you know gonline and why they call traitor. Where are owners of horse, what did you do to them?”
Zero finds only the weapons the goblins carried (scimitars and short bows) as well as 10 coppers. Following the advice of the others to inspect the area more thoroughly, he will make a survival check...
Assuming he got lifted by his tail and then dropped / placed by the group he would frantically try coming up with an explanation. "Listen! All i know is that they have a base a bit north of here!"m*he would put his hands up and would cower s bit, it was clear to the group that he was easily scared.
As Zero has a look around I'll go to the horses, salvage what I can of the saddles, saddle bags, harnessing. Load that up in the wagon. Aldri my friend, you think we could pull the horses off to the side of the road?

Aldri frowns, in thought, “You come with us and show us. Maybe horse owners can be found there.”
Zero discovers evidence of several goblin boots in and around the area. The creatures had obviously been staging ambushes here, and means to a quick escape via a trail hidden behind thickets on the north side of the road that leads northwest. The elf quickly surmises that near a dozen different goblins have been using the trail and there is evidence of two human-sized bodies being dragged away along the trail.
now we're talking. Can we get the wagon up that way? I'm not crazy about leaving setting here on the side of the road. We could always deliver the goods, collect our pay, rest for the night and come back on the 'marrow.
Might be best to bring it along. We dont know if other goblins are around and dont want to lose it. I think it would be best if I stay in the wagon as cover fire and we will stay a distance back.
Grabbing my crossbow and bolts from the wagon, leave my back in the wagon, strap my shield to my back and warhammer at my waist, knock a bolt and look toward Zero, following your lead.
Zero gets into the wagon and stances up in the back to keep a lookout. He directs the party where to go but has the driver keep the wagon back 40 feet to stay a safe distance away.
It looks like we cant get through here with the wagon. I guess we need to find somewhere secluded and hidden to put it and try and cover it so its well hidden.
Zero begins looking for somewehre to park the wagon and for ways to hide it.

After checking the bodies of the goblins Zero stand up and speaks to the others.
Nothing on them but weapons and some copper. I will take a look around the area.
Zero begins looking around for tracks or other evidence of where the others went.

“We can put the goblins weapons in the wagon and see if we can sell them for gold”
He would scurry ti help the group load the weapons into the wagon.
Aldri frowns, in thought, “You come with us and show us. Maybe horse owners can be found there.”

HEY! Theres a trail here, evidence of something bigger than a goblin being dragged away. We need to follow.

If we do that there may be nothing left to find of those two and the trail might go cold.

can we hide the wagon off the road, maybe cover it with branches or something? We could lead the horses along with us.

The trail and woods are not compatible with the wagon. There's no way the wagon of goods would be able to maneuver through the woods nor the trail.
