The party still considers their course of action. There is plenty space to hide the wagon and tether the oxen, and should the party decide to investigate the trail please give me a single file marching order.
EDIT: Seemed that was not the decided action. Changed to leave conversations open.
The party decides to carry on to Phandalin to discover what they can and make the delivery for which they'd been paid...
The rutted track emerges from a wooded hillside, and you catch your first glimpse of Phandalin after a while in the road. The town consists of forty or fifty simple log buildings, some built on old fieldstone foundations. More old ruins—crumbling stone walls covered in ivy and briars—surround the newer houses and shops, showing how this must have been a much larger town in centuries past. Most of the newer buildings are set on the sides of the cart track, which widens into a muddy main street of sorts as it climbs toward a ruined manor house on a hillside at the east side of town. The town seems small enough to stroll from one side to the other in the span of just a few minutes.
As you approach, you see children playing on the town green and townsfolk tending to chores or running errands at shops. Many people look up as you approach, but all return to their business as you go by.
Below is a map of Phandalin. Of course, your characters would not know all these location names. You're entering town from the north where it reads 'To Triboar Trail'. There’s an inn, a town hall, a shrine, general stores and trading posts, and a few other homes and businesses. Where do you want to go first?
The kobold would attempt to climb out of the cart, maybe he could escape? He wasn't too trusting of the party, well except for the cleric who had revived him.
Barthen's Provisions is likely the largest trading post in Phandalin from the looks of things, and two young clerks proceed a lean and balding man of about fifty years that boasts a kind and friendly demeanor as the three exit the building. Elmar Barthen smiles as he exits the establishment, "Greetings! You must be delivering the supplies from Gundren? Please, Ander and Thistle can take that if you'll all come in to settle your payment." He beckons you to head on inside as he explains that any adventuring gear may be purchased at Barthen's besides weapons (anything valued 25gp or less).
Will the party head in to speak with Elmar and collect their payment?

The kobold would be sitting in the cart keeping to himself, he wondered if the party was looking for the goblins hideout
Zero takes a breath.
Fine. We will go deliver the cart.
He begins to walk ahead of the cart again, keeping to the shadows and trying to keep an eye out for any more ambushes.

As they approach the town Zero would make his way back to the cart and sit inside of it with the rest of the group.

Silk, having been on this route a few times, directs the wagon to the appropriate store location
“We’re here. “
Silk gets down from the top of the wagon and walks into store, returning in a few min with others.
I assume you mean Barthen's Provisions?
I also assume the rest of the party agrees?

Aldri urges the horses forwards towards Barthen’s.
As the cart pulls up to the location of the delivery Zero scans the surrounding area, checking for anything out of the ordinary.
