Following Doozey's switch to common, Utar shrugs and looks to the rest of CRAP. Continuing in Draconic, he sighs.
"We've one vote to purchase her freedom and I guess I vote for that too. I doubt we'll get anything else from her unless we do something to scratch her back. We should all be in agreement though, are we?"
"Ne'er heard o'em." Bhevek replies in Halfling regarding the Redfoot Clan while looking away from Doozey. He then takes the hunter's shift of conversation topic and partner as an opportunity to refocus himself on what is happening in the cell.
Utar takes a quick vote on whether to free Rathene and, with a unanimous decision achieved, turns to face Raist. The elf takes the opportunity to share what his quick analysis of the cell door revealed.
Showing that she also understand the language of dragons, at least to some degree, Rathene motions toward the chains around her wrists. The motion undoubtedly serves as a request for immediate freedom, and it does not go unnoticed by Bhevek. Perking up, he says in Common: "I don't understand the words you are saying, but I do understand that." He points to Rathene Fel, who he still calls 'Half a Bell.' He continues: "And it sounds like you are about to pay a fee for her release. As my brother said, that'll be 100gp." He extends his hand.
For all her grizzled demeanor, Rathene cannot help but look hopeful at this moment.
Switching to common, Utar steps forward and addresses Bhevek.
"Agreed. I'd like any equipment she was brought in with returned to her too, mind. I'm not so green as to assume it's included in that prior price. I'll pay an additional stipend for it."
"Fair enough," Bhevek agrees on the spot. He pulls a small leather-bound notebook from a pocket and flips through it, soon finding the page he was looking for: "One set of ring mail armor, no helm. There were some simple boots and clothes too, and she is still wearing whatever undergarments she arrived with. There is nothing else on my list."
From her spot, Rathene switches to Common and confirms: "Most of my belongings fell to the ground when I was captured. I have no hopes of recovering them. I was brought here with naught but the clothes on my back."
Quite pleased with the admission, Bhevek negotiates: "How about we call it an extra 20 golden coins for the release of her equipment."At this point, he brushes the back of his hand against his dirty nose as if to clean some dropping mucus. There is no indication that the halfling jailer even noticed how disgusting the simple maneuver can be.
Assuming Utar is willing to fork over 120gp right away, Bhevek communicates that her belongings will be ready for her at the exit, and explains that the prisoner will be properly escorted to the exit once CRAP is ready to leave the jail. Only then, will her shackles be opened: "We can't give her a chance to walk freely in the grounds and find an opportunity to retaliate." He then asks if you'd still like to have the rest of your visit time with this prisoner or if you'd like to move on to the other prisoner you'll be visiting.
"Sebastian. Stay with this one until we are ready if you please" the Raven appears in the cell and looks at Rathene "keep a good eye" He looks at Rathene " he isn't much of a talker but will let me know if anything untoward happens" (slight wheezing) his final statement while directed at Rathene his stare is at Bhevek
Though he hadn't paid much mind to the reaction at the time, at some point during the exchanging of coin, Doozey looked away with furrowed brows for a moment or two, before then turning on Bhevek with narrowed eyes. "... Yeah.... Piram. We see." He said as crossed his arms and tried to take on a more neutral expression. However, anyone with even a modicum of insight would see past the veneer and perceive a sense of conflicted feelings roiling beneath the surface.

Bhevek does not delay his acceptance of the additional payment. He reiterates: "The prisoner and her belongings will be ready for release once you are ready to depart." He puts his notebook away and performs a few checks around the cell to make sure all is in order before re-locking Rathene inside. The orcish prisoner is clearly not enjoying the idea of having to stay here a moment longer but, having witnessed the payment for her freedom, seems to be willing to sit back and wait a bit. She nods at Utar to show her gratitude.
Both Bhevek and Rathene then tilt their heads at the sudden appearance of a crow within the cell. She sighs in frustration but knows better than complain now that she is so close to freedom. The jailer hesitates for a moment, gestures as if he is about to say something unpleasant, but then thinks about it again, waves his concerns away, and simply says: "As long as the bird doesn't peck us when we return for the prisoner..." He doesn't finish his thought.
With Doozey's verbal agreement (and slight visual hesitancy) added to Utar's confirmation, Bhevek then begins to lead CRAP towards the pirate's cell. He takes you the long way around the rest of this floor of the keep. As you walk, you pass by another nine cells located in east and northeast ends of this fourth floor (you had been standing near a separate set of nine cells in the south and southwest portions). Only three of these nine "new" cells are closed and obviously occupied (making it a total of nine prisoners on this floor.) The other six cells are vacant and don't even have doors anymore. The wall between two of them has crumbled and the floor has opened, further highlighting the state of disrepair of the overall structure.
Circling back into the fourth floor's guard room (northwest section of this floor), Bhevek nods to the two idle guards and begins to head toward the central spiral staircase. He stops suddenly, sniffing the air. Doozey's senses pick it up immediately, and the others' soon follow: on the air, you catch a telltale whiff of smoke. Your respective hearing senses are soon engaged as well. Muffled shouts are heard from somewhere below, and a bell soon starts clanging.
“That’s the prisoner alarm,” gasps Bhevek. “Torm’s teeth! That better not be Walharrow!”
At the mention of this name, Utar, Doozey, and Raist may just about remember a little something (please roll a history check.) Neya had already considered this particular piece of information.
(OOC: Let me know how your characters react to this sudden development as well. Depending on what you decide to do, we may enter initiative, so please go ahead and preemptively roll for it.)

Doozey sighed, more disappointed than surprised at the current turn of events. As he's glancing back down the row of cells in partial curiosity in seeing faces pressed against the bar, the stoutling said in halfling without looking towards Bhevek,"Name's familiar. But more importantly... Want help wrangling? Not for free, of course. But offers there."If after or before the others looked about ready to rush down to assist, Doozey sharply whistles and holds up a hand in a halting gesture to the party.
(@Drache: Rolling initiative for Neya as discussed in the OOC chat. I hope you feel better soon. Roll: 23).
The name "Walharrow" immediately brings thoughts to each CRAPer's mind.
@Utar & @Doozey: You recall a discussion when CRAP was recruiting the help of Captain Hulbard and his family. Utar asked Hulbard to share his opinions on other captains in town and Hulbard mentioned two of them. Captain Klaven and Captain Walharrow. The former was dealt with by CRAP and his crew was commandeered by his first mate, now captain, Hermenor. The latter was said to be a competent pirate passing for a merchant. Separately, Mar from The Laughing Goblin had previously described him as a half-man half-bull who had been missing for some time. Doozey wondered if he was cursed like members of his hunter's guild.
@Raist: Walharrow is a feared pirate captain in Phlan who has intimidated his way into formal merchant deals as to avoid imprisonment. His crimes eventually outpaced his trickery and he disappeared as a consequence of either being killed or choosing to lay low for some time (at least those were the rumors). As it turns out, it seems that he was secretly captured and jailed at Grimshackle Jail. You know him to be a Minotaur.
Bhevek is angry and stomping into action. His answers are curt and more dismissive at this point. To Utar's question, his answer is a simple but enraged "No!" To Doozey's offer, he simply grunts and moves his head in a short 'follow me' sort of gesture, presumably accepting its 'not for free' conditionality. Should this be enough for Doozey to then lower his halting hand and join Utar in enthusiastically following Bhevek down, then the group may move.
Bhevek may have another curt answer or two in him before he jolts into action. Looking at Doozey's and Utar's responses, and how they are on opposite sides of the spectrum (halting vs. let's go!), he hesitates but for a second...
(OOC: Any last minute questions/requests/negotiations?)
While it was no verbal agreement, and thus all the more likely to be slyly brushed off if brought up later on, Doozey lowered his hand and chose to take the gamble on Bhevek. Though as he braced himself in anticipation of following after his fellow halfling, it was with a spark of curiosity in his eyes, adding that extra pinch of bounce to his step going forward. Once on the move all the jostling had the unintended effect of awakening Taters, who after some trial and error in trying to disentangle himself from the pack, eventually would find a moment to slip free before begrudgingly following after everyone else along the way.

With no additional voiced questions, Bhevek ignores whatever facial expressions might betray any CRAPer's judgment or thoughts at this moment and rushes downstairs. Doozey follows with Taters, Utar, Neya and Raist being close behind.
As the group descends onto the third floor of the keep, Bhevek turns westward to face one of two small but spreading sources of flames. He looks around for a jailer but finds no one. He is now visibly looking for a solution to the flames. The many piles of rocky debris look promising.
As CRAP begins to pour out the staircase, you see the second source of flame located on and around one of the cell doors right in front of you.
"Agreed" Raist whispers back in draconic. "Also this door wouldn't stand up to much I think, and the locks aren't the best either"
