"I will take point. With any luck, we will be able to complete the exfiltration before this one awakes." Neya says as she gestures to the captive kobold.
With Neya in the lead, the group moves back the way they came: past the pit trap, up the path to a higher level, and into the area with the three-pronged fork on the road (where the mushrooms are.) From there, CRAP recalls arriving from the southward path. Neya instead leads the group down the westward path. The eastward path is left unexplored for now.
This cave is noticeably longer than the one the party has explored so far. Taking advantage of the wide range on his darkvision, Utar is the first to spot where this cave is leading. There is a cavern up ahead from which bestial snarls and excited barks and yips are heard, much as Neya's report had stated. At this point, Neya raises a fist and signals everyone to halt and stay quiet.
You are now 120 feet away from the cavern's entrance. It is pitch black in here and up ahead except for Villonah's flaming blade (which produces bright light for 40 feet and dim light for another 40 feet.) She asks: "Shall we stay back here and let you clear that room?"

Utar gives a solemn nod. His hand tightens around Bonecounter and his eyes scan the floor ahead. If there's one trap, there's likely another waiting for an unwary foot.
Doozey nodded as well, if albeit a little more hesitantly than others. But rather than make any move to immediately depart, he would instead stood there giving Villonah one last long look, before then reaching out to awkwardly pat her on the shoulder. Yet, as he kept his hand on a shoulder for a moment or two longer than necessary, he leans in.... NOT for a kiss, but to whisper in her ear, "Stay safe. We'll be back 'fer ya know it."
Then with that, he immediately did an about face and got to work unstrapping the kobold from Biscuit's back to set on the ground, still bound and blindfolded with some old clothstrip from the halfling. "If they wake, ya know what to do." He tells her, then motioned in a look to the other prisoners by way of clarification. With that out of the way, Doozey finally mounted upon on Biscuit and urged him to proceed after Neya and Utar.
-Doozey's Stealth: 27. (if needed while mounted) -Biscuit's Stealth: 16. Plus 10 to both if PWT is still active.
(OOC: If any ONE person rolls a natural 1 on stealth, Doozey will use Bountiful Luck to grant a re-roll.)

Taking advantage of his long reaching senses,Utar confirms that the path ahead is clear. Although the lack of threats may look a little suspicious, the cleric sees absolutely nothing that would indicate a trap in this tunnel. Neya joins in on the effort as a double-check and arrives at a similar conclusion to Utar's, though she is not as certain.
Villonah freezes for a split second once Doozey's hand touches her shoulder. After listening to his whisper but just before he removes his hand from her shoulder, Villonah then places her hand on top of his and gives Doozey a silent nod of assurance and a slight but kind smile of appreciation.
Sirge takes one step forward and then takes responsibility for the unconscious kobold placed on the floor: "Let Villonah focus on the villagers. I'll keep guard over this kobold magic-weaver. Should he show sign of consciousness..." He gestures toward a dagger he had recently claimed.
The party then uses the last bit of Neya's scroll-fueled powers to advance as quietly as a mouse.
(@MB: Please roll a stealth check. If you prefer, you can stay back relative to the other CRAPers as you advance so that you don't have to roll the check, but you'd need to catch up later movement-wise.)
At the vanguard, Neya, Doozey, Biscuit, and Raist (and perhaps Utar) notice something assail their collective smelling sense as they get closer to the cavern ahead. A ghastly animal stench fills your nostrils. Peeking into the opening, you see two giant weasels snarl and spit at each other at the center of a low cavern, watched by four small reptilian humanoids. Four more weasels are chained to a boulder at the back of the cavern, near a darkened passageway that leads off into the rock. The room is completely dark, but there are hints of daylight coming from this aforementioned passageway.
Unable to see except for whatever beings stray too closely to the lit passageway, Doozey is reliant on Biscuit giving a quiet and quick rundown on the situation after some signaling on his part. And though he doubted the possibility, a whisper is nevertheless findings Biscuit's ears, asking if he'd notice if any of the weasels appeared to behave with more cunning or intelligence that might go beyond that of a trained animal...
With his questions sated one way or the other, Doozey then looked to Raist and gave a thumbs up. "Light'em, but focus on the 'bolds if'n ya can."He'd whisper.

Utar does hang back. His armour is a bulwark, letting him stride into battle, taking blows that would fell him if unarmoured, but it was damn noisy. Clanking, jangling, alerting all and sundry that an armoured threat was approaching.
Still, his legs are strong, and another sprint felt like nothing he couldn't do.

Biscuit (nature) recognizes no out-of-the-ordinary behavior from the furry creatures in the cavern ahead. Through Doozey's ability to converse with the Mastiff, he catches Biscuit asking himself: "What's a weasel? Is it a type of squirrel?"
With the intel-gathering out of the way, Neya prepares her bow and Doozey asks Raist to initiate the fight. Utar is hanging back until something tells him his noisy speed is needed. (We'll say Utar is some 60 feet behind Doozey.)
Pulling out a sticky small sulphurous smelling ball of goo he says in elvish "Caor thine" and a small orange ball leaves his hand darting to Z18. fireball

Raist steps to the side and, disregarding Doozey's preference, aims a surprise fireball directly at one of the weasels. Surprisingly, that weasel's instincts flare up as it curls into a defensive position. Two of its brethren are also caught in the blast but are not so lucky. (Giant Weasel#6 {Z-18} takes 13 fire damage; Giant Weasel#4 {W-21} takes 26 fire damage and is DEFEATED; Giant Weasel#1 {AA-19} takes 26 fire damage and is DEFEATED.)
One of the nearby spectators is able to react in time by partially hopping behind a boulder, but others caught in the blast are not as responsive. (Kobold Sorcerer#2 {X-20} takes 13 fire damage; Kobold Shield-bearer#1 {X-15} takes 26 fire damage; Kobold Shield-bearer#2 {AA-16} takes 26 fire damage.)
Neya follows up the explosion by teleporting (using Shadow Step) to a the southern(?) wall of the chamber (to AF-18). Once there, she looses 2 arrows at the kobold nearest to her (AD-21).
