Elvoril targets an injured Kobold, still at a long distance (120ft). A black spectral hand again takes form in front of the Half-Elf and flies towards the target.

Watching the Kobolds falling before the might of the adventurers around him, Dag silently thanks the fates for aligning themselves so. Drawing upon the power of Kossuth once more he watches a spectral black hand blast into a Kobold, and follows up with a Sacred Flame.
The spectral hand from Elvoril’s spell connects with the kobold that was still being grasped from the previous attack. Overwhelmed by the icy touch, Kobold#1 takes 3 damage and falls to the ground, dead.
The spearwomen thrusts her spear into the stomach of Kobold#2 dealing 4 damage and killing it.
Silk’s second arrow plunges into the head of Kobold#9 as it was trying to flank the spearwoman, dealing 5 damage and killing it instantly.
Dag’s sacred flame engulfs Kobold#10, dealing 7 damage and slaying it.
Fiznik’s greataxe cleaves horizontally through Kobold#11, splitting the creature in half, dealing 13 damage and killing it instantly.
Rilla’s sword connects with Kobold#12, digging deep into its chest. The creature lets out a guttural sound as it takes 6 damage and slumps to the ground, dead.
As Rilla pulls her sword out of the limp corpse of the last kobold, you look around and see that there aren’t any more enemies within sight.
The spearwoman cries out, “Thank you! Thank you! You arrived just in time, I fear my husband wouldn’t have survived that fight!” As she speaks, she looks at her husband with a worried expression on her face. Her husband, suffering from rather large gashes on his left side and right shoulder, tries to smile at the party while signs of pain streak across his face. During the fight, he had dropped to the ground with his three young children, arms wrapped tightly around their tiny figures.
Looking back at the party, the spearwoman says, “My name is Linan Swift and I can’t thank you all enough. That is my husband Cuth”. Cuth waives at you feebly with one hand while still managing to keep his arm wrapped tightly around his children. Linan continues, “I fear there may not be much hope for Greenest, but warriors such as yourselves could be a great help in her defense”. Linan looks imploring at you all as she finishes speaking.

Fiznik is still in full fury (rage) mode and is going to continue chopping the Kobolds up into little pieces until he calms down. And greeting the lady and man along with the little children. He then drops his greataxe and runs over towards the children. "Oh you lot look like excellent fighters and I saw the way you protected your dad here! I have just the thing for you!" He pulls his tiny gnome javelins out and gives one to each of the children. (He has 4)
The children, although initially frightened by Fiznik's brutal actions moments earlier, see the sincerity in his eyes and proudly take the javelins from him one at a time. One of the children, who is a girl who looks to only be four or five years old, smiles at Fiznik as she takes her spear from his hand and says, "Fank you mster nahm." Cuth smiles as his children form a tight formation around him, sporting new gnome javelins and fierce expressions.
Linan smiles as she watches her children equip themselves with the proffered weapons. She turns to Rilla, listens to her question, and replies, "Yes! We were actually on our way to the keep in the center of town when we were waylaid. If there is still a haven in Greenest, that would be it. I must ask, could any of you help us try to reach it? I fear we won't last long with my husband in this state, and the longer we tarry, the greater the chance the gates will be barred when we arrive."

"I can carry Cuth, but someone has to carry my greataxe! I am not leaving her behind!" The tiny gnome looks around at the party, then grows a grin and locks eyes with Grixx.
Rilla starts doing mental gymnastics about how the gnome is going to successfully carry a full sized injured human... it's not the strength, its the leverage....
To Cuth she says, "I have some little skill at healing, but I would like to aid you if I can."

Elvoril looks at the man and the cuts in his side. "The wounds might be healed, it is maybe not time yet for you to meet the Dark Lady. Your work here is not finished it seems." "Let's head for this Keep, the more we are, the higher the chance to stay alive..."
Before leaving, Elvoril will check the bodies of the Kobolds for any possession and any information.
When the group is moving, Elvoril tries to stay in shadows: Stealth7

As Silk rummages around the corpses looking for arrows, he says, "It would be pretty difficult to turn my back on a family like yours that I can see now, to head out and try to save others that could be anywhere. It stands to reason other families will also seek shelter at the keep, so we will find more families to save if we go in that direction. We should also find more goblins chasing those families too. I will move ahead, around 50 feet to scout and give warning if necessary."
With that Silk moves around the nearby buildings for cover.
Grixx will sheath both his shortsword walk up and pick up Finzik's greataxe slightly startled at the weight. "I've got you my friend. Stay close, as soon as trouble gets here this axe is getting tossed your way!"
Watching the kobolds fall, Dag hangs back from the group and watches their interaction with much interest. He is pleased to see that the family are close, protective of each other. The way a family should be. Upon seeing the injuries to the Father, Dag considers moving closer to offer healing, but upon seeing Rilla step forward and tend to some of the injuries he decides to remain slightly behind the group, instead keeping his focus and attention on their surroundings in the hopes of spotting any others who could be helped on their way to the keep that Linan spoke of.
After Rilla heals Cuth’s wounds, Cuth tries to reassure Fiznik that he should be able to manage; however, the gnome is already engrossed in the act of carrying him and seems determined to do so. Fiznik pokes his head through Cuth’s legs from behind and pulls Cuth’s thighs down onto his shoulders. Cuth loses his balance when this happens and nearly falls onto his back, but manages to grab Fiznik’s chin, stabilizing himself just in time. Cuth straightens his legs in front of him as much as he can while sitting on Fiznik’s shoulders. Fiznik begins to follow Linan with Cuth sitting on his shoulders, holding onto his chin, back bent, and legs straight out in front of him, feet barely inches off the ground. The children keep a tight formation around Fiznik and their father, javelins at the ready, giving Cuth the appearance of a King with a rather tiny retinue.
During Elvoril’s search of the kobolds, he finds that a few of them have small cloth sacks tied around their torsos that contain random items (mostly silverware, cups, and plates) made of precious metals worth a total value of 25 gp. He finds an additional 15 gp mixed in with the stolen treasure.
You travel with Linan and her family to the intersection to the east before veering left and continuing on the road to the north. While on this road, you see a slight bend in the distance and dense brush on either side of you. Silk, who had been keeping pace about 50 feet ahead of the group, has maintained stealth by keeping to the brush on the side of the road and has cleared the bend before the rest of the group. Ahead, he sees a bridge crossing the river you had previously travelled along. On the bridge he sees a group consisting of 2 cultists adorning purple garb and 4 kobolds. They haven’t seen Silk yet, but they are blocking entry to the bridge and appear to be looking out in every direction.
Grixx listens to Silk’s word and looks at the surrounding terrain. He the says the group, “Alright what do you think about this? Linan, takes her family back a few steps so they will not be in danger and protected. All of you hide in the surrounding dense brush to set up an ambush. I will go bait these cultists and pull them back down to right in between this brush where you spring the attack.” Grixx awaits feedback from the group.
Grixx drops Finzik’s greataxe and says to him. “I’ll think you’ll be needing this, friend.”
Elvoril listen to the Silk's report, impressed by his stealth skill. "Well, I guess we need to cross this bridge. But they didn't see us yet. We have the advantage."
"Let's ambush them. It seems the thread of their existence is about to be severed."
Dag listens intently to the report from Silk and the suggestions from the rest of the group.
"An ambush sounds best, but I don't know how well they'd be baited by an armed and armored stranger luring them away from their post, and yet I find that I do not have many alternative suggestions. Amongst us we have skill with magic, can we use that in any way to make Grixx look less intimidating, or more like a villager that they might chase down as easy prey?"
