Reso chuckles and follows with two more strikes

Grunting in pain Graxian continues to fight.

Z'ress will repeat her earlier actions and move forward before throwing a dart at the cultish thst is the most hurt, retreating as far she can to avoid them getting hit again.

J'eilil charges on, disregarding her injury as she flails against the leader. He blocks both hand axes but doesn't notice Reso rushing in, fists raised. A first punch is thrown, stunning the leader, then an overhand punch wallops him to the floor as he is knocked down. Graxian fights on as he still has the two cultists' attention, slashing one as the man's wounds start to weight on him. Although as he tries to fight back, a thunk is heard as the man falls over with a dart in his back. Z'ress is in control of her fight as she leads him on a chase for her, still managing to help her allies.

Enemy round:

With his all his comrades down, the lone cultist decides to retreat. Making a full dash, away from the fight.

(He is currently running away. Z'ress is about 140 feet away while the rest is about 60 feet away.)

Caught up in the fight,  as the last cultist tries to run from him, Graxian lashes out with his blade at the opportunity the cultist provides when he moves away from him.

J'eilil, seeing that Graxian is dealing with the last cultist, turns her attention to the fallen bodies.  She looks to see if there is any loot worth taking.

Reso is going to survey the area and look for any notes or correspondence the cultists may have had on them. 

Not wanting hin to escape from them, Z'ress will do her best to catch up to him despite the larger distance between them.

As the cultist runs past Graxian, he is struck from behind, Graxian's blade bloody as he falls as well. The battle is over as the cultists lie either unconscious or dead.

As J'eilil and Reso search the bodies, they find nothing as they hold only their robes and weapons on them. Not even having letters or notes on them. Although it seems clear that they're on the right trail as these were the same clothes the other raiders wore.

Now that thenfight is over and her adrenaline is fading, Z'ress will lean against her staff while doing her best to not look to haggard. "That was a hard won fight..."

Not wanting to use her last healing spell, J'eilil will sit on the rocks and tear off a strip of fabric from the cultists' robes to bind her wounds.  "Yes, it was.  We all need to rest before we can risk another fight."

(Should I roll a medicine check, or...?)

Graxian finds a cloak of the cultists that isn't dirty and wipes the blade of his sword before placing it back in its sheath.

"They were waiting for us, or at least expected someone from the village to follow.  It was a natural ambush point.  And yes a rest is needed."

He moves around and checks the bodies to be sure they are all dead.  He'll pay extra attention to the leader to be sure he has nothing of interest on him, or the acolytes.

"We should move further down the trail and then rest.  I do not wish to rest here with these bodies that will attract attention, even if the attention is only wildlife looking for an easy meal."

Reso nods. "Agreed. I would like to rest before we do anymore fighting but I want to move out of sight." 

Graxian works deftly, making sure that any cultists left alive had their necks slit. He does another search upon the leader and finds nothing except for the man's robes.

J'eilil does some make shift first aid on herself using the cultist's robes. Stopping some bleeding and keeping pressure upon her open wounds.

Graxian inspects the robes of the leader more carefully.   There seems to be something of interest there. 

Investigation 5

Graxian searches once more, yet all he finds is the man's robes and his weapons.

"We need to keep moving."  J'eilil agrees with the others.  "Which way?"

"Let's get off this hill and back to the trail.  We'll continue to follow it for a mile or so and find a place to camp for the night."

Graxian gets his gear together and makes his way down to the trail again to follow the path they were on keeping his eye or for a good camping spot.
