Orr's been better, but he'll live. He's got one Misty Step left to keep pace if he has to. He's no longer poisoned at least.
Getting Tana's help beyond getting you out of the wastelands would be a tough persuasion check. Ogres are pretty single minded, and she's especially laser focused with maternal instinct. But you're always welcome to give it a go.
I just logged in. Yesterday was a circus of folly, so I wasn't able to get online.
But I'll catch up on whats going on in the IC and update now, before I hit the gym. I'm struggling to lose a stubborn 10 pounds. And my pain levels are lower than they've been all week, so I'm going to try to get back into the habit before my back and hips act up again.
MrUncleTio, I really want you to catch a break. 😅 You're the only one who got a bad roll on the luck probability chart. But don't you worry. Your luck will turn eventually.
The day got away from me yesterday. But I'm working on the map now. 😅 The map I had bookmarked for this is no longer available. So, I'm improvising. But I found something that will work. It's gonna take a little effort in Photopea to get it right though.
The Carrion Crawler obviously feels threatened and angered.
You can fight it, or you can attempt to pass it by without conflict. A successful Handle Animal check will be needed to pass by it without incident. Advantage on the roll can be won by offering it the snack Merkas has gathered for it.
Sounds good. Figured Hastos has the best bet to lob that sack of feed the furthest based upon strength (though Sera may be stronger, I actually haven’t checked the sheets to confirm either)
Lets talk about which way we're heading, and try to be specific. Direction in dungeons are important... for... reasons... don't think about it... but feel free to make rolls while you do.
Couldn’t help the play on words with “B Natural”. I play guitar/Bass so I understood it as the note but Merkas isn’t musical so his understanding is different

I play bass and guitar as well! I'm actually about to start teaching lessons at Guitar Center. 😊
I've taught private lessons independently, and I've been playing for almost 40 years. But I never had the confidence to apply for a job there. The people you see at Guitar Center sound like they could go pro... wailing out impossible solos on their instruments. I was a professional musician, but never got above minor local gigs at coffee shops and bars, so I assumed I wouldn't make the cut, and never bothered to try. It was surprisingly easy. I prepared a song on bass and guitar, and demonstrated some basic skills and techniques on the drums. The interviewer assured me that I didn't have to be good... just one lesson better than the lesson I'm teaching, and I'd mostly be teaching beginners. I had to demonstrate that I understood music theory and literacy as well, which is something you learn in middle school band. So, I nailed the audition! I'm hoping to start next week, actually.
Ok, so this is sort of a miniboss. It's one of the hardest encounters in the dungeon. I don't usually like to blow the suprise, but I did assure you that it would be mostly low-level encounters. They're still coming. But if you're worried about wasting your bigger abilities here, and needing them later, you probably won't. Except mostly puzzles and traps to be the biggest threat moving forward.
I’ve been playing since COVID. Gravitated towards classical and classic rock. But prefer acoustic to electric. Trying to pick up some Irish/Scottish/Bluegrass tunes to appease my roots.
Also, you guys had me howling about Hatos’ ass! In my head, I just heard basketball sneakers on a court!
Ditto the congrats. You got 10 more years practice than me. Same as you I can keep a basic beat on drums, but you got me beat with the music theory and sheet music for sure. I learned it all but never really used it so I lost it.

With it being such a distraction we should start sending you in to battles butt cheeks first! Maybe we can get initiative advantage or surprise rounds for the absurdity of it.
First dragon we meet you’re walking up to it Al a Ace Ventura and “asking” is some questions….sound like a plan?

Haha! It’s all good. Everybody has to take one for the team every now and again!
Glad you’re managing to get to the gym. Hopefully it helps work off some of the stress!

I'll wait to see what MrUncleTio does before posting. Remember that Hastos is hasty, and strong enough to carry someone who isn't.
Currently, it looks like Merkas is doing a pretty good job handling the Carrion Crawler.

So sending the crawler off to the left, distracted by the fold and calm demeanour of the crew, we’re heading up to the right, following the cave.
