While myconids don't carry treasure specifically, they are known to have treasure hordes. They have no real use for Stl or weapons, so they largely consider them to be trash. You might be able to find the horde nearby, waiting to be shipped off to join the rest of the dragon horde, but it may include more encounters with rabid myconids. Myconids harvest the remains of dead animals, monsters, and adventurers to use as fertilizer for their mushroom groves, which is their version of an actual treasure. The things that cannot decompose are worthless to them. Myconids are a treasure trove unto themselves for those who understand its alchemical and medicinal properties. They, and their grove can serve as a food source, and their components, namely their spore sacs, can be harvested to make powerful inhalents and toxins. One of which works similarly to Comprehend Languages. By snorting a bit of it yourself, and then let someone else (with language capabilities) inhaling it, you can speak with that creature for a few minutes as if you both spoke the same language. Other spore sacs make poisons that can stun, poison, or even kill an opponent. Knowing which spores do which will require a Nature check or an Arcana check.
