Yes please, but you can use Warcaster whenever you like: DC 10 (Casting Ability Score). Due to the nature of the feat, I'll extend its effectiveness to 1 Encounter.
Tell you what though:
If you wish to train it at the Guild Hall, you can roll the Feat DC with Advantage.
Bardic Inspiration lasts an hour, which should be more than enough to make it to the dragon's den.
Edit: Also, it should be noted that I rarely optimize my DMPCs. They're built with the flavor of their character, and their original stat block capabilities in mind. So, even though Orr has levelled up, they're nowhere near as powerful as the party is.
So being as the fire damage goes off every six seconds, how many times would the healing trigger? Can I assume that Merkas can be completely healed up aside from the poison before they head out?

The Giant Strider receives half HP from Fire. You receive half that (rounded down, minimum 1). So let's just assume your spamming Create Bonfire (2d8, average 9 Fire). Barkly will receive 4 HP of healing. You will receive 2, every 6 seconds. So to recouperate 30 HP, you'd need to cast it 15 times, which would take an hour and a half. If you start heading out now, you'll be in the dragon's den long before you're at full health.
At this stage of enchantment, it's more of a trickle of healing than a deluge. It'll speed along healing, but is not as efficient as a potion or heal spell.
Fire Absorption. Whenever the giant strider is subjected to fire damage, it takes no damage and regains a number of hit points equal to half the fire damage dealt.
At a roll result of 14, Barkly takes 7 HP of Fire Absorption. Merkas gets 3, unless I'm wrong about rounding. The rules change with every edition. You might be able to round up to 4 instead.
Ah right. I forgot about Barkly getting half from the fire damage. But Create bonfire is concentration it just needs to stay up and not be cast over and over.(Provided we aren’t moving that is) And doesn’t the fire damage happen every 6 seconds as a creature takes the damage if it starts or ends its turn within the fire? Provided it chooses to or fails the dex save.
From the Create Bonfire Spell:
You create a bonfire on ground that you can see within range. Until the spell ends, the magic bonfire fills a 5-foot cube. Any creature in the bonfire’s space when you cast the spell must succeed on a Dexterity saving throw or take 1d8 fire damage. A creature must also make the saving throw when it moves into the bonfire’s space for the first time on a turn or ends its turn there.

Yes. and you can volunteer to fail the DEX save.
But assuming yours does only 1d8 damage (average 4), Barkly would received 2 HP of healing, and you would receive 1.
If Hastos and Merkas are doing anything at the moment, please feel free to describe it. Obviously, the lady kobolds don't like it much when the dudes talk, but that doesn't mean you can't RP something.
Only Kasi and Dawnbound know. Letni Inhelk is hiding a dangerous secret, and it would be disasterous for them if the wrong people found out. So, it's up to you who you trust with that knowledge. I'll narrate the consequences when/if the time is right.
I'm trying to come up with content today, but I'm really tired. I damaged my cornea recently too, and am having trouble seeing. I'll try to post again in the next few days.
But I would like to say that Chaotic aligned people already have near perfect resistence to the magic in the cave. At most, they will roll with Advantage. Some may even benefit from the magic in it. Lawful and Neutral aligned characters are more susceptible to the magic poisoning.

No it is ok. Ability raise is just fine.

So to get action for Hastos the kobolds totally disagree and attack.
Did we ever tell Buckeran that the Letni Inhelk are still alive? I know Kasi knows, she was with us but what about him?
