Tana doesn't really have a filter. And Merkas's face and body is badly scarred from fire damage, and his skin is blue. So Tana no like. I still think Merkas is cute though.
Does Having drunk the elixir of health give any advantage or resistance to the poison?
I'm just on my phone right now, so it's hard to double check the rules, but I don't believe so. Antitoxin provide immunity for a while. Like irl, if you already have an antitoxin in your system you are resistant to the toxin, at least for a while. Regular dosage over time can even cause a permanent resistance to its effects.
Purify spells can also clear air and water, to an extent. Immediately, the air or water that is contaminated will be purified. But new toxins are seeping up from the ground at steady rates. Which will gradually make the air or water too toxic to be around.
She should be seeing the scars as marks of bravery and honour. This little blue demon has survived many battles and has the scars to show for it.
Don’t worry about it I have thick skin and the context was clear.
True, but Ogres are poor judges of what counts as bravery and honor. They're often brutish, and more easily intimidated or impressed by size. Your skin tone, eyes, and melty face wouldn't translate you to her as a kender, but you are pretty close to size as a low-ranking demon. From that perspective, your face may not even appear to be burned. It's just demons sometimes have unconventional features and skin colors. Which kind of works to your advantage. Kenders make a lovely snack for monsters her size. But demons... a bit more work than it's worth.
She's nearly 5 times your size. It'd be like you trying to find a beagle intimidating.
I looked into the Elixir of Health. While it removes the poisoned condition, it doesn't prevent it. You'd need a Periapt of Proof for that.
Jeezus, Uncle! 😆 You coulda just slapped them! 1 HP of damage (no need to roll attack) with an open-palmed slap, but no, you had to knock the shit out of them! 😆
Hastos over here going full Sean Connery on a *****. Good thing Orr has a ton of HP and a generally unphasable disposition.
We're getting close to another international holiday.
Make your wishlist (3 items) for a very special member of the fey. Naughty or nice, you're getting a gift. But the gift is rolled on a chart of 10. On a roll of 8 or higher, you'll get one of those items you wished for.
Trinket (random)
Trinket (random)
Toolkit (whatever you want it to be!)
Adventuring Gear (random)
Adventuring Gear (random)
Mount (random)
Animal Companion (appropriate to the region, but random)
Wish 1
Wish 2
Wish 3
The wish can be whatever you want it to be, but cannot exceed a certain value:
You can also elect a spell effect that lasts for 1 day as your wish. Wish 1 can be a Level 1 Spell or lower. Wish 2 can be a Level 2 Spell or lower. Wish 3 can be a Level 3 Spell or lower.
The spell does not have to come from your class spell list. Any spell will work. The effect lasts for 1 in-game day or until you dispel it. As usual, if you don't like your gift, it can easily be sold or traded at Santekh. Duncan loves a good Trinket. And any item you can't find a shop for can be left in your guild to be sold at the guild shop.
Submit your list, and I'll roll for you. On the appropriate day, the annual Oversized Sock of Holding will appear next to you. Reach in and claim your prize. The sock will shrink until it disappears after your prize is claimed.
I rolled a 2. I get a Trinket for xmas...prolly a piece of coal..lol
;)
Well your roll over rules mine. So... I'll let you know what your Trinket is on the appropriate day (when we get closer to Christmas/Yule/Hanukkah/etc).
Uncle is the only one left who needs to submit his wish list.
A CLOUD GIANT?!?!? This is turning into a kaiju battle! 😆
I believe we established in the cult-sewers that any non-physical attack a summoned illusion like this can make can sort of bluff the target creature into thinking it worked, provided the creature believes in the illusion. The illusion fails the instant the illusion is physically interacted with, correct?
Lets see how this plays out. I'm going to play them true to their natures, but within the confines of this knowledge. The Cloud Giant will refrain from physical attacks, so long as it's possible to do so, to maintain the illusion. And the Air Elemental will respond accordingly. Air Elementals aren't too bright... but they possess a proto-human level of intelligence similar to an ogre, and would know that a Cloud Giant is out of its league. I wonder how Tana will interpret this though... they're both giantkin. And they both understand the heirarchy. Interesting.
I miss the old height charts for giantkin. It's almost embarrassing how much bigger a Cloud Giant was compared to an Ogre. But in 5e, they're basically the same size. Scale wise, Tana (who towers over the tallest of you) would look like a child compared to the mighty Cloud Giant. Its presence would be utterly terrifying... like a god descending from a mountain.
Hastos is perfectly suited. Your high AC and magic melee weapons put you in the front line. You haven't rolled any checks to learn their stat blocks, but you do know that melee combat is your best option.
I've been giving grace because the holiday season is hectic for everyone. But I'll post today, whether everyone takes their turn or not. I'm moving slowly today, so you've got time before I'm ready to think creatively.
Also, sorry for calling Merkas "ugly". 😅
