Unless new enemies emerge, Khessa congratulates everyone, patting them on the back with enthusiasm! She then searches the body of the dead giant. Since the journey was briefly interrupted, it might as well be seen if there is any benefit to be gained...
The remaining Giant turns around, seeing it's fallen friend it thinks about throwing a boulder at the party, but ultimately decides against it and keeps running.
"Eric, my shield, thank you for always being by my side!" Khessa congratulates everyone, patting them on the back with enthusiasm "And all of you too, my old and new friends, you were incredible! Kriv, Kni, Zale, Jean... Those poor giants barely even had time to understand what hit them!"
She then searches the body of the dead giant. Since the journey was briefly interrupted, it might as well be seen if there is any benefit to be gained...
Khessa divides the loot between everyone (3 cp each), then sighs: "We haven't gained much - except to do a little warm-up while waiting to find our 'hero'..."
"Speaking of that," the tall adventuress is already back at Eric's side, ready to start tracking again "we might as well get back on the hunt right away... I think we have nothing left to do here".
Jean shakes her arm out, dissipating the remaining sparks from her spellcasting focus. She watches the landscape as Khessa checks the bodies, then turns back at her words, "Agreed! Best to get back on the road."

Darkness shouldn't prevent a dwarf with Darkvision from tracking... but if the day's weariness begins to take its toll, Khessa suggests finding a place to camp and rest for the night: "Any place sheltered enough from the wind to build a fire will do. If we take turns keeping watch, I don't think we'll have any trouble with any nocturnal predators. We just defeated two giants without even breaking a sweat..."
About an hour after sunset you come across what looks like an isolated shrine to a forgotten god. The site shows signs of having been used as campsite by previous travelers.
"This site shows signs of having been used as a campsite by previous travelers..." Khessa muses aloud "We could very well do the same! Should we camp here?"
If the party agrees, the blonde arcane warrior also proposes to take turns on guard duty. Anator does not need sleep and so, in his unsuspecting bat form, can stand guard all night, in addition to whoever is on duty.
For added safety, the tall adventuress conducts a esoteric ritual that will mentally alert her if a tiny or larger creature approaches the party.
[[ OOC: I don't know how we want to handle this... Should we say that if an event occurs during the night we roll to determine who is on guard at that moment? That way if nothing happens we avoid the rolls and speed things up? Or decide on the shifts in detail? ]]
I'm ok with rolling to see who's on duty. Oh before I forget: one of the signs that the site has been used before are 2 unmarked graves nearby. Each grave is nothing more than a low rise covered in hastily collected rocks marking the resting place of one of the many explorers to have fallen in the Serpent Hills.
Khessa, just out of curiosity, examines the 2 unmarked graves, trying to understand if there is a name or some distinctive sign that can help to understand who were the two unfortunates who found the end of their existence there.
After that, the blonde arcane warrior proceeds as she already intended to do to 'secure', at least as much as she can, the camp.
[[ OOC: OK to proceed with determining what happens at night, then, as far as I'm concerned... ]]
Khessa, it looks like the unmarked graves have been here for decades. At least you are sure these aren't left behind by Varram's party.

The night is silent and dark, the air filled with the gentle sounds of nature. The stars twinkle above the camp, and the campfire crackles softly, casting long shadows over the sleeping figures and teh nearby shire. Jean peers into the distance, alert for any sign of danger. Suddenly she notices a ghostly glow not far away near the unmarked graves. The light is dim and flickering, like a flame in the wind. Her eyes narrow as she tries to make out what it is. The glow seems to rise from the ground, as if something is rising from the anonymous grave. Slowly the glow begins to take shape. A ghostly figure, translucent and ethereal, floats up from the grave. The figure is wrapped in an old, faded robe that blows gently in an invisible wind. The Ghost's face is vague and difficult to make out, but the eyes radiate a cold, blue glow. She can't see exactly what it is yet, but the Ghost's presence fills her with a sense of unease. The Ghost floats slowly through the air, its movements graceful and almost hypnotic. The Ghost moves to the other grave, not far from the first. When it gets there, it floats, its glow illuminating the surroundings with a ghostly light. The air feels colder, and a shiver runs down Jean's spine.
Anator has trouble with the Gohst's ethereal and translucent form. The Ghost does not have physical mass like a normal object, so the sound waves may not bounce back in the same way. However, the Ghost causes a kind of movement, in this case disturbing the air, the Anator could sense that. So let's just say that Anator doesn't "see" the Ghost in the same way as a physical object, he is able to pick up some clues to the Ghost's presence through subtle changes in the environment.
Jean had been sitting just on the outer edge of the warmth from their fire, idly twirling a crossbow bolt between two fingers when the Ghost appears. As her eyes lock onto the apparition she'll move very slowly into a crouch, fighting the urge to pull her overcloak closer around her shoulders, and creep closer to the rest of the party, staying low and keeping her voice down, just trying to speak loud enough to begin waking the others. "I don't mean to alarm anyone, but it would seem we have a visitor."
As they begin to rouse she'll say, "It hasn't done anything yet, I was thinking we could speak to it."

Khessa has just been awakened by Anator's telepathic warning, when Jean also announces the 'visitor'.
The blonde arcane warrior cautiously leaves her armor, just in case the situation evolves for the worse, but she still seems saddened, seeing the lost soul... "It's a shame that this soul can't find peace... I'll protect myself and try to talk to it. Maybe we can help it. I don't want to ignore it - and maybe leave it condemned to haunt this desolate place until the end of time!"
'Thanks again, Steff...' Khessa thinks for a moment about the boy who gave her the precious gift, before putting the rod away again. She then approaches the tormented soul, holding no weapons in her hand and smiling at him: "A good evening to you. I am Khessa, Khessa Cabbagefield. It is a pleasure to meet you. How come you are in this place, instead of at your eternal rest?"

You find 1 Greatclub (80 lb.) and 18 cp. There's also a dead goat. You can try to harvest some meat or hide if you want? (Nature check)

Ok, so Anator could wake up Khessa.
The Alarm is also triggered by the ghost? Is it coming near enough?

No, it stays near the graves (and I'm assuming you've kept an appropriate distance).

The tall adventuress, therefore, as soon as she is ready, she traces arcane glyphs in the air around her with what appears to be a rough carved wooden rod, not suitable for channeling magical energy, reciting a short chant.
