Gus casts magic missile and finishes it off (sorry to steal your thunder but its the only thing you have that could have worked, and it looks like you hadn't cast a single leveld spell yet today so may as well before it ends)
Sorry Gus - are you not in the discord? I was saying in there that actually the corridor is too narrow to fire from where you are.
Yes, I got back on discord just for this game, I don't discord but trying to be a team player and all. no worries, although with the idea of a fight against a shaman right after the lizards, Gus probably would have cast a damage dealing cantrip spell and saved the spell slot for something he might have needed for the vs magic fight, but you play him the way you'd like.

Ok - I'll note that for the future. You do have 4 slots for first level spells though, and given that you're about to rest soon, it seemed a reasonable expenditure of just one of those four slots that would otherwise just be wasted. Also a damage dealing cantrip requires an ATTACK roll
It's anything with an attack roll that can't be done from the back of the corridor. It was literally your only damage dealing move. You still have three slots for three more. Anyway, Eltra, were you going to skip or....?
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
Eltra ducks under Hnefa's legs in time to miss a huge chunk of stone from the ceiling come crashing down behind him, striking 'Gus' in the head, for 11177, Dex save for half DC100.
The rest of you are fine and can easily walk over the corpse of 'Gus' without issue. 'Madame Cleo', in owl form, breathes a sigh of relief.
"Good riddance," she says, strangely in common out loud so everyone can here. "He was the WORST. So entitled as to be obnoxious, I'll be much happier now. You do NOT want to know the kinds of things he made me do when we were alone," she shivers, and spits on his corpse. "Anyway, good-bye!" she calls to the group and flies away, never to be seen from again.
The Shaman is so confused by the strange turn of events but simultaneously seems satisfied that at least one of you were killed, so he shrugs and disappears. You have a nice rest outside. You take the readings, find Redeye's phylactery, save the day, blah blah blah, whatever.
THE END.

I can't get dice rolls to work so I used my character sheet
4 dmg (each?) total of 12
Bree nails it with a magic missile, and its barely clinging to life. Gus it's your turn.
Gus fires another crossbow bolt at it, 17 to hit for 8 pts of damage

A lizardman with necklaces of bone and carrying a trident also covered in bone adornments appears, and cats something at Geren.
It's clear he's been crying.. he screams in a thick accent "You KILLED my BABIESSSS!" before casting something at Geren.
Geren please roll a Wisdom save.
Geren shakes off whatever it was.

For the Shaman, Dawn finally does something other than Tolling the Dead, instead sends a Guiding Bolt at the shaman.
Attack 20, 11 radiant damage, next attack against the shaman has advantage.
Dawn then flattens herself against the wall so those behind her have a clearer shot.

Eltra watches, through Hnefa's legs, the mayhem ensure. Not wanting to hit any of his traveling companions he stays put and waits
