“Haz, drink that darned potion you been carrying this whole time wouldya?!”Merkas says barely above a whisper when Hastos coughs up more blood. “Ory, I got an Idea, it’s going to be a little odd but hoping you have the strength for it.”The kender starts mentally going through the things they have on hand. He removes one of the rings from his finger and hands it to her, “Pretty sure it’s a water walking ring, so either you or Hastos can wear it, then after we open this water valve and flood the hall out there, we can crack this door open and fill this place with water, us other two can hold onto, or maybe tie ourselves to the one wearing the ring and we get lifted up this shaft closer to the top, and hopefully from there get out of here”
His hands are moving a frantically, having completely forgotten to hand over the ring until one of them agrees to wear it. “Once we decide who has the ring, and puts it on, the other can open the door when it’s time, after I open this valve, Ory, if you would lend me your axe?”
Once the ring is situated, Merkas takes Ororana’s axe and wedges the blade in the handle of the valve so he can gain some advantage from the extra leverage. “Everyone Ready?”
Hastos to drink the common healing potion,
Ororana/Hastos wear the water walking ring
Merkas to open the water gate, using the axe handle like a valve wrench: 8 strength check (Used heroic inspiration for advantage = 9-1 for 8)
Ory/Haz to open door after outside chamber flooded.
if this is to much in a turn we can alter and adjust no problem.
Ororana blinks... snapping out of her shock. "Merkas... I live here. I've never once seen a manhole in Santekh. As far as I knew, we couldn't even tap into a water source to use a sewer system. We've been burying our... waste," She mentions with uncharacteristic tact. "I'm sure there's an exit there, but it's definitely buried, and perhaps sealed somehow. Could you, I dunno... blast it open or something with your wizard powers?" Ororana clearly doesn't know that Merkias doesn't realize he's a sorcerer. She pulls out her Wind Fan. "I've got this. It wasn't strong enough to break or crack any walls, but I've seen you launch things through the air with your mind. What if you did that with something strong and heavy? Ummm, like a stone or something? I could use my Fan to give it a little extra oomph?"
"What? They not manage get out? " She turns once outside the crypt. Sera know the answer to her own question and know that to turn...she and anyone facing that statue with a zombie in a leash wil probably be flattened. " wait!" She grab the Haregon eagerly " we know it is sewers...it should be floodgates or crate up here to let water down. And ventilation down there." Sera hurry a bit frenetic around looking for anything. But see nothing ( nat 1 on that perseption )
Getting even more frustrated she take a deep breath. " seems we must go back...and fight it..." She looks at Nare with a grim expression.
Heading back down will take an extra full round.
Outside the tiny chamber where Merkas, Hastos, and Ororana are, you hear the padded slap of a shambling zombie, which growls angrily at being restricted by the Sacred Statue's lumbering steps. In turn, the telltale echo of brass scraping against stone gets louder. Then creaking as it stoops down, and a heavy thunk! as it lands in the dried waterway. Judging by the sounds, it will be at your door soon.

But see nothing ( nat 1 on that perseption )
Getting even more frustrated she take a deep breath. " seems we must go back...and fight it..." She looks at Nare with a grim expression.
Ne'haredowell stares at Sera with fear in his eyes. In these seconds, he looks more like a prey animal than any humanoid. His pupils are dilated, and his ears flat against his back. "I- I don't know."He stammers when she grabs him by the shoulders. The brass scrapping against the stone makes him wince. "There's nowhere to go..." The stone tunnels around him fell dense, nothing like the bunny burrows back in-
"I think... I think if anyone can get out it is your crew." His mouth flattens to a line as he tries his hardest not the reflect Sera's fear back to her. "I don't think we.."No, he reminds himself, he wasn't even all there the first time Sera duked it out with the statue. Even that, she held on the strongest while he just stood there. His ears drop further, "I don't think I can handle it. No, not right now."He shakes his head.
"I can try to blind it- the shadows they can wrap around it, so it won't see," the harengon suggests, "Or try to blow it away. I'm don't know. I don't know-" And now they were spiraling.
At whatever Sera suggests, Nare will do. To him, she is the de facto leader. If neither of spell options are good, Nare will just continue to climb out the sewers.
Also I tried to roll for Lucky Footwork to see if Nare could've made the DEX Save with the extra d4 roll.... guess what... a 1... wow a GRAND TOTAL of 5 literally still
Hastos downs the healing potion. Common Healing Potion: (3+2+2=7). Hastos grunts in pain as his wounds begin to stitch themselves back together. As the pain subsides, he feels fresh energy search through him. His exhaustion leaves him, his muscles feel stronger, and he feels more focused.
“Let’s try that. But we don’t know what’s above us or what could come crashing down if it goes wrong, or right. We’re also in an airtight room. The concussion could kill us. If it fails and we survive, the next option is through that door.” Hastos says, pointing at the door. “But there’s that statue thing out there, and something else on its way. I doubt they’re going to be best friends. Maybe they’ll battle it out and we can pick off the winner?” Hastos shakes his head. “I don’t know, this is a shit situation.”
Sera cannot wait. Her friends might be trapped and fighting for their lives. She sighs...Dumping the extra burden of treasure on the floor ..keeping only the javeling , the deck of cards and wand that seems usable without training . She do worry it might be hurtful like Merkas tried a new horn..it exploded in his face. She hope theese items can be usefull... she give a final look at Nare
" I will not leave anyone behind...I not ask for you to risk your life Nare..it is your choice" then she turns and grip extra tight on her sword. It flares up brightly. ( increase light radius to max 30 feet bright and 30 feet dim )
And heads back down "Come face me you patetic excuse for a Sargonna lap dog. You got rust for brain after so long?! A marble block statue would be a better guardian than you!" Sera screams down the corridor and heads down. She take the deck...what ever this was she hoped it produce something neat. And as she close in she pull a card and throw it at the Statue. Flinch as she might expect a grand explosion or something...
( Rolled a d100 and just counted down on the illusion list. Got a 9. That produce a beholder if u accept it )
Ororana blinks... snapping out of her shock. "Merkas... I live here. I've never once seen a manhole in Santekh. As far as I knew, we couldn't even tap into a water source to use a sewer system. Ummm, like a stone or something? I could use my Fan to give it a little extra oomph?"
“Ok, ok, but we gotta hurry, or else Sera’ll think we’re in danger and come after us, I still think it best we turn that water on either way, otherwise the things down here are waiting for us to get back.”
During his chatting the kender has crouched down and started going through the infinite bag he acquired,
“And the whole wizard thing, pretty sure I am not, but there seems to be some sort of magic in me, that extra frost on the slime thing?, I did that, like legitimately it’s exactly what I wanted snd it happened, not a wizard but magic for sure, just gotta figure it all out, maybe that’s all I can do, anyway…”
Merkas starts pulling things from his bag, Three bottles of Kiskartchi, a couple potion bottles with teeth labels on them, bag of coins, a book, and a holy symbol of Sargonas. “These three are like infused energy, Gramma tells me, these teeth ones I am not sure what they do but figured what the heck, a bunch of gold, this book that felt rather special, and Sir Goombas symbol we got from the cult guys up top. So for smashing through that ceiling, I figure we need something heavy, the bag of gold seems best or maybe the book but I figure it might just explode into a bunch of pages instead of smash anything.” Picking up a Kiskartchi he uncorks it and starts drinking it as he thinks. The rings on his hand clink against the bottle as he tips it up to finish it. “Oh! And I have these rings,” taking two of the identical ones off his hand he hands them to the others, “pretty sure these ones make you able to jump real high, might be useful if that ceiling does smash real easy”
He starts putting things back in the bag of holding, leaving out the Kiskartchi for Hastos and Ororana, one of the teeth bottles, and the bag of gold which he places in the cetnre of the room. “Alright lets see if I can get one of them magical things to happen again”concentrating on the the coin bag and then looking up at the ceiling he makes a big show of waving his arms around and the points at the ceiling and says “Fly!” And nothing happens. Frustrated he looks at the coins again and scratches his head. “Last time a dagger just shot off into the dark area, did I kick it or something?” Then he points from the coins to the ceiling and says “Hey, coins smash ceiling!” The bag flies off towards the ceiling “Now Ory!”
Drink Kiskartchi for the inspiration, might need it later
hoping Ory can identify the teeth potion
gave Ory and Haz a ring of jumping each, still have three unknowns
cast Catapult on the 5lb bag of coins at 2nd level for 4d8 bludgeoning = 10 damage to the ceiling
DC 15 dex save just in case the ceiling is a mimic
" I will not leave anyone behind...I not ask for you to risk your life Nare..it is your choice" then she turns and grip extra tight on her sword. It flares up brightly. ( increase light radius to max 30 feet bright and 30 feet dim )

Nare’s floundering only stops when Sera lights her sun blade in front of him, which causes him to shield his eyes from the pain.
“Okay,” he says. After a moment of lagging behind, he exhales. The harengon accepts his fate and follows in after her. He doesn’t know what to say to her letting him have left, but she’s right, he couldn’t live with himself to leave another team behind. “Where are we going,” He whispers as they head back.
At the sight of the beholder, Nare’s mouth opens in awe. He looks over at her with a ‘No way!’ type of expression.
Using the magic he still has left in him, he tries to make the beholder look more showy. It doesn’t take him that much to realize that it’s kind of what he does for his puppets. He uses the same kind of voice-throwing to make it work, trying not to overly rely on his magic for every single thing thrown at him.

You see an extremely tight tunnel, with no other way but back up to the tomb, or back down into the sewers.
Putting this in IC, because even a 1 would reveal this. Without literally burrowing another tunnel, this is a direct route.
