Wheezing from his pain as he asks Barkly, “You think you got another blast in you? Maybe hit that pile of wind?” Barkly sucks in a breath to test her reserves and it seems a smile lights up her eyes. Turning her head she lets out another fire Burst at the air elemental. The blast encompasses the corpses, elemental, and Dragonshield Blue. (Fire Burst Recharge: 6. ”Hoorah Nice shot girl” Merkas lets out a a happy shout as he looks back to the nearest guard. In YipYak:

Sera was about to use her shield when Hastos TAKE the damage using his magic shield.
" thanks...." she mutters feeling a bit guilty but also valued by his action.
Then she turn attention to Dragonshield black. And slam her shield at him..
" you little shitbag..."
Her slam seems to miss but by a miracle it suddenly adjust and slam into him and sends him 10 feet away into priestess green..
( cavalier shield slam attack that send him 10 feet away and prone. Pluss add a channel divinity +10. So ac 18. Damage 12 force)
She then point at Buckeran " heal my friend "
And a holy light wash over him closing his wounds.
( healing word 4 hp)
Sera spins around to the Ankheg . Such a foul beast and circles around it to flank it with Hastos .
" lets kill this bug love!" She yell flanking and distracting it from behind. She also make the Air elemental get within her aura of spirits who decend upon it.
( Guardian spirits deal 19 radiant. Save 13 for half)
Sera's sheild sends Dragonshield somersalting through the air! You hear bones snap, and his head lolls at an unnatural angle before his bady crashes into Priestess Red. She collapses to the floor with fractured ribs that puncture her lungs. Gasping in her dying breaths, she gurgles something that sounds like an angry curse befure her head eases to the ground and the light from her eyes dim.
Air Elemental, Ankheg, and Dragonscale Blue are the only monsters left alive.
Buckeran stirs and his eyes flutter open. He coughs up some blood and winces at the pain in his shoulder. The magic saved his life, but his shoulder is still dislocated. "Thank you Sera," he grunts through gritted teeth.
Buckeran is alive, but looking ragged.
Sera darts into place while the Spirit Guardians descend, and the Ankheg wheels its head around surveying it's new situation. It snaps at the Spirit Guardians, trying to rip them apart, but the dragonlings are ethereal beings that cannot be harmed by such mundane attacks. In return, they begin scratching at the Ankheg's carapace! The Ankheg lets out a chittonous rattle of anger and pain!
Anghek Fails Save. Ankheg is Bloodied.
Caught in the circle of the Sprit Guardian's wrath Dragonshield Blue and the Air Elemental suffer great injuries as well.
Dragonshield Blue fails the save and is Bloodied. Air Elemental failed the save and is damaged.

Dragonshield Blue is instantly entombed in an inferno! He sqeals and yelps in pain as the roaring waves lick at his scales! When the fire begins to diminish, he steaming and staggering. His leathery skin is blistered, and he can barely hold his shield and spear.
Draginshield Blue looks near death.
More flames spin and spiral through the Air Elemental, who roars again as his cyclone twirls with twisted scarlet ribbons of ember and flame. But its wind is stronger, and the flames diminish against the blustering gale.
Air Elemental succeeds with save. Half damage taken.
Merkas dives onto the Ankheg, stabbing and scratching with his daggers. Bleeding and chocking, the Ankheg begins a slow and painful descent to the ground as Merkas rips into it in a fearsome tirade of vengeance!
Ankheg is Dead. The only remaining target's are the Air Elemental and Dragonshield Blue. The outline of the Ankheg also marks the location of the tunnel it made.
The Air Elemental continues to follow its final orders, and gathers its air to blast out another powerful Whirlwind attack! The blast clears the fire in its effect radius, and sends a strong gust of wind in every direction that scatters treasures in every direction, and rips charred flesh from the Blue Dragons. It floats over the dragon corpses to quench the flames again. Mindless in its pursuit, it seems only to care about preseving the bodies it was commanded to preserve.

Buckeran rises to and unsteady stand. His arm hangs limp and he braces it with his other arm.
Buckeran moves from Prone.
Orr the Unshattered chrages through the flying debris until he's far enough away from the others to cast their mightiest spell. Roaring above the windy din, they shout "Thunderwave!" and clap their hands with a resounding slap! An explosion of sound erupts from their hands, pulsing in every direction for 15 feet, and ripping through the Air Elemental! It shudders and wails in pain. It's winds look severaly diminished.
Air Elemental is "Bloodied" if you can call it that.
Hastos begins to raise his axe towards the Ankheg as Merkas leaps onto it and begins to ride it to the ground, stabbing and slicing with every inch it falls. Hastos flashes an astonished look at Sera as if looking for confirmation that he was, indeed, seeing this. Bits of icor and unidentifiable bug bits fly from the creature as it suffers its final moments of life.
As the beast succumbs, Hastos tracks Orr maneuvering to a new position before letting loose with a mighty spell that is ear splitting. The elemental takes the brunt of the attack and ribbons of white, whispy streams begin circling the creature as if it were bleeding the very stuff that wind is made of, but it seems to have rid itself of most of the effects of the flames that engulfed it!
Hastos remembers the crystals he took from the cave earlier and grabs one of them from his pouch. Using the strength granted him from his belt of hill giant strength, he hurls the crystals at the ground as close to the wind elemental as he can. (Athletics: 27). He follows up with a firebolt! (ToHit: 18, Dam: 9)
“That looks like it did wonders, Orr. Lemme try!” Merkas shifts and pulls from the innate well of magic inside him. Flinging his arm forward a bolt of arcane magic flies out and right by the elemental into the wall with a thunderous explosion. (Cast Sorcerous Burst: To hit: 11, Dmg: 7 Thunder)
Shrugging he keeps smiling despite being utterly exhausted “Well, I tried. Gonna rest a bit with Bucky here. Think you got another shot Barkly?”The blue kender sits beside the old treasure hunter. (BA: Convert sorcery points to gain first level spell slot)
Sucking in another breath, encouraged by Merkas praises, she fires another fire burst at the air elemental and trying to keep the flames burning. (Recharge roll: 6 15 Fire dmg, half on Dc 12 dex save) Barkly chirps happily at the outcome of the attack and moves to cover the two kenders from the flying debris.

Rolled 1d4 Fire Damage: Result +1 added to Fire Damage (10 total) I believe that is what we agreed upon in the crystal's unenchanted form (boost 1d4 to elemental damage).
Only the weak aur elemental left. Sera scan around for fallen allies and glad none seems to dropped this round.
Going straight at the elemtal and trying not to stumble in the treaure she makes a rather wide swing with her sunblade.

Sera watch how her Spirit guardians swarm over it. She never knew that spell would be so effective.

Caught in the Spirit Guardian's circle, Dragonshield Blue doesn't even bother to defend himself as the dragonlings descend upon him. His charred body provides a succulent feast as he collapses to the ground.
Dragonshield Blue is Dead.
The Air Elemental fares a little better, as the Spirit Guardians flap their little wings to stay within the maelstrom. They do their part but with less efficiency. Even so, the Air Elemental is looking more like a strong wind than a cyclone.

More crystalline rubble falls free, revealing a clutch of Ankheg eggs amongst some dried bones and secret trasures of weapons and coins. It would seem Ankheg's have burrowed around this den, slowly turning it into a breeding ground. One way or another, these kobolds were always doomed now that their Great Mother has died.
Barkly's fire erupts and ignites the dragon corpses with an incendiary explosion of tissue and bone! The Air Elemental casts off its searing flame, to maintian its form, but at great cost to itself. It looks more like a whirling dust devil than a true Air Elemental at this point.
The fires from the previous flame begin to die out, but although the Air Elemental is driven by it's final command, it knows that it cannot complete its mission while Barkiy remains alive. It turns to the Giant Strider and floats forward, determined to smash the beast to oblivion in its final act! Channeling all the force it can still muster, the Air Elemental descends upon Barkly and slams down on her with two mighty fists! Barkly, caught in the buffeting winds, bucks and rears to avoid the powerful strikes. One wafts weakly to the side, while the other clips her on the ribcage harmlessly. Nothing short of death will stop the determined creature!

**For simplicity, the Air Elemental has 3 HP left. This is your first boss fight that you have been able to finish. So whomever successfully attacks next will probably do enough damage to defeat it. Feel free to describe your heroic assault as cinematically as you like. Full Rule of Cool applies. No additional rolls required besides a successful hit.**
Sera skipping over to stop the air elementals last trashing...like victory is theirs but if it go after her teams wounded...
The coins slipping under herfeets and she almost fall while swinging at the elemental
( attack ac 11. A miss)
" fuuuucck more slippery than Thakisus serpent tounged lies!"
So it is her guardian spiriuts who more or less whisps the elemental to a weak breeze and destroys it.....then it is gone....
Sera breathe heavy...and dismiss her guardians..the treasure chamber full of corpses. Foul smoke from burning dragon corpse and glittering treasure...where not bloodsplatters hit...
" time for diplomacy is over ?...let us heal up before more attack..."
She move over to Merkas and Buckeran. Her prayers ready. Hands glowing with a warm light...
" you kenders get in trouble..." she sigh and look at them with a caring expression. " Paladine...please grant us your powers of healing..."
Her hands shine brighter. Her gentle touch warms and heals Merkas and Buckeran.
As the elemental succumbs to a Sera’s attack, a silence engulfs the rooms. The only remaining sounds being the burning of the dragon corpses. He nod at Sera’s recommendation. “Agreed. But first…”
Hastos’ axe extinguishes and he plops down on a pile of coins with a grunt. “I really am getting too old for this.” He says wryly. He falls back on his back and exhales loudly.
Watching as the spirit gaurdians clear out the wind storm before it can hurt Barkly, Merkas slumps where he sits. When his vision is clear of the tempestuous wind he see guard blue. “Sorry bud, the uh whole place was doomed anyway” As he finishes his statement Sera’s whirling dragonlings finish him off as well.
Sera’s ministration and the relative quiet if the room allows him to relax for second as he says “Thanks Sera, you really are always there when I need you. Sorry if I don’t show my gratitude enough”
“Better than I was, but not a hundred percent, I’d say somewhere about 50/50, but still exhausted, not getting a good nights sleep and all”He winks at Sera as he answers Hastos.
After a moment of quiet he looks at the exposed eggs, “So uh, whats the best way to clear out an Ankheg infestation. Pretty sure the mothballs in my sock drawer aren’t powerful enough, maybe with that threat we can convince to queen to move her people out of here, join another kobold tribe or something?”
Barkly sucks in another breath to blast away at the corpses again, but gets only smoke. Crestfallen she glances around to see the immediate danger is gone so she heads over to curls up around the kenders.
Petting the striders neck fondly “You were definitely the MVP girl, right along with that cloud of little dragons Sera had hurting everything at once. That’s really cool. Make sure to thank Pal Odine for us, ‘kay?”

With Sera's help, Buckeran's shoulder is reset with a wet pop. He winces, but the pain quickly fades as Sera's magic washes over him. "Thank you, my dear." He tests his shoulder by rolling his shoulder, and he nods. His wounds are healed, but he'll be sore for a bit. He chuckles at Sera's gentle chiding. "It certainly wasn't my intention to get in trouble again. Let's... uh... not mention this to the rest of the council. I'll be at my desk for the rest of my natural life."

”How’s everyone doing? Merkas? Buckeran? Orr?”
Buckeran nods. "I'm certainly feeling my age today. I rarely miss my youth, but I'd like to think that in younger days, I would've been more useful in this most recent fracas."
Orr the Unshattered nods stoically. "My wounds will heal with rest. For now, we have a mission to complete." They look pretty banged up, with bruises and scrapes. But he appears strong enough to stand and work.

Buckeran breaks from Barkly's cuddle and moves to examine the eggs. "They're no real threat to a dragon... a good source of protein, actually. But where there is one clutch, there is likely more, and the remaining kobolds will eventually be annihilated. Ankhegs burrow complex tunnels that could wind its way throughout the entire cavern structure if allowed. I would think the one you sliced into sushi would have a mate, unless these are unfertilized eggs. We could attempt to comb the tunnels and smash the eggs." A though pops into his head. "Merkas, my boy! Can you still control that Carrion Eater? He would consider this a feast. Then all we'd have to deal with is the mate... assuming the two don't find each other and they fight over territory."
The fire continues to spread over the dragon corpses, filling the room with the smell of barbecued rot. Buckeran's nostrils flare at the disgusting scent. "Well, shall we get to it?" He pulls out his portable hole, and his Pseudodragon, Jasper, crawls out from his coat, looking quite agitated. She licks her wounds, then takes in the scene of the dragon horde with unblinking interest. She prowls the treasure, bounding through the coins happily! Buckeran smiles in relief to see that Jasper is alive, and seemingly, quite happy.
You each gain 9,625 XP You find on the ground 1 Air Elemental Summoning Stone (the Air Elemental needs a day to recover before it can be summoned). You also find on the Priestesses a total of 3 Dust Devil Summoning Stones. The kobold's weapons and armor are mostly too damaged to have any utility or value, but Santekh has a scrap facility where they refurbish weapony. They'll by it from you. The Priestess who summoned the Air Elemental is wearing a Cloak of Billowing. In combat, it's not particularly useful, but it's quite fashionable.
Sera look at the items.." you welcome " she say abit absent minded. .the dragon horde. Would it pay off her debts?
Probably not. Her humiliation is priceless to a man like Goldenspear...
She lets the coins drip trough her fingers then toss it away. It is cursed.. Not hers.
She walk over to Hastos and stand with him and nods " thank you for the save.....it looked like a painful way to do it......I am unsure if I shouls scold you or thank you...."
“Hmm, I think the spell is just about done, but I am pretty sure I can cast it again. Maybe we just need to get it close enough? What kinda stuff would attract the crawler, maybe some sort of bait? Like these poor unfortunate souls that decided we were better off dead?”Merkas chats away with Bucky a he looks over Barkly. “Boy they didn’t even lay a scratch on you did they?”
“Boy they had a bunch of these summon stones, you think they learned from the ogre lady we met on the way here, or more likely the other way around, I bet” He collects up the various summoning stones and looks over the weapons and armour. “You think it worth it to take these back to town, Haz? Like a few more shields and swords may not be that helpful back at Santekh”
Hastos chuckles at Sera. “I do not recommend it. But you're welcome, of course. But either would have been understandable.” He caresses her shoulder and feels the living armor react under his touch.
Turning to Merkas, he walks over a looks over the items. “I agree. I don’t know if their value would be worth the trouble. Merkas, you really were impressive back there!” He pats Merkas’ shoulder. “People would do well not to underestimate you in battle!”
Hastos looks over the horde of treasure, but nothing really catches his attention. “What a waste. Imagine all the mouths this could feed.”
" a shame...we could try cleanse it...bring back little at the time...I could try hold ceremony to counter the effect. Give the gold a chance to do good?..I try bless and remove curse..something?"

“I think I got some sort of protection spell, may help with good and evil stuff, though being protected from good always seemed like a strange idea to me, you think it could help you?”

Buckeran muses. "Carrion Crawlers prefer dead things, but they're not above eating things that are sleeping or paralyzed. It probably stayed away from this area because of the poisonous tunnels that are large enough for it to pass through. If we can find a path for the Carrion Crawler that won't turn it into a crystal-fossilised creature, then we have a natural solution to our problem."
Hastos chuckles at Sera. “I do not recommend it. But you're welcome, of course. But either would have been understandable.” He caresses her shoulder and feels the living armor react under his touch.

Hastos looks over the horde of treasure, but nothing really catches his attention. “What a waste. Imagine all the mouths this could feed.”
Buckeran struggles to say something uncomfortable. "The treasure does not belong to anyone anymore. It belonged to these dragons. But the dragons are dead. The kobolds here claimed as much. They are stewards of the dragon's horde. Nothing more. I hate to be the official here, but the mission is to retrieve the dragon's horde. When we bring it to Santekh, our healers can purify it, and you will be paid accordingly, provided I get to wet my beak as well. But the remaining treasure will feed hungry mouths. We can hire more soldiers, train and equip them, ship more supplies into the fortification, and actually be able to resist the Dragon Army hordes. It may upset the kobold tribe here, but it's in their best interest to be rid of this treasure haul."
“How would we get it out of here without scores of people invading these caves?” Hastos asks Buckeron.”To bad we can’t shrink it down or… teleport it or something.”
Hastos’ eyes light up. “Hang on….” He wags his finger in the air as if searching for the rest of the sentence. “… what if we used those air elementals? I mean, could we use them to, you know, suck up the treasure and have them deposit it in a room in your mansion, Buckeron? Then we could just carry the house and all the treasure with us out in one go.”

Buckeran lets out a self-satisfied chuckle. "You've forgotten! Behold!" He pulls a folded item from his vest. It is pure black... so black it confounds the eyes Buckeran begins unfolding it carefully, so as not to tear it until it becomes a giant wobbling circle 15' in diameter. "Ladies and gentlement... and nonbinary friend... I present to you a Portable Hole! The dimensional pocket empties into the treasury in my manor! We simply need to push the treasures into the hole and presto! It will be secured in my treasury!" Still cackling with pleased amusement, he spreads the hole out carefully on the ground, and smoothes out the wrinkles. Once it's flat, it's shape stiffens, and he dips his hand into it, then pulls his and out and waves his gnarled hand. "Genius, right?"
Sera nod silently to the display. The treasure being shoveling into the hole...
She still feel like a robber even the valuables will go towards a good cause. And leaving it will only empower the dragon army...they come..and they will find it. It was the mission to get the treasure.
Her thoughts go to the hungry and now poor Kobolds they will be leaving here. What will they do now?
She go to the side. Uncomfortable.
" Forgive me ...I have no solutions to offer.. I only leave them with hard choices..." she whispers a prayer of forgivness. A sigh...then she straighten up.
Then walking over to the group and helping out...
"Why not you take the elemental stones Merkas? You good in commanding and directing. It be helpful to u when ur" she looks for a word "....nature ..sends u on a mission alone and trouble finds you. The air elemental can be helpful. It can protect you. . Hastos, Orr and I take a Dust devil summon rock each. Orr you are a performer..that cloak might make a grand entre for you?"
She looks around to the others...a raised eyebrow to her suggestion.
Wheezing from his pain as he asks Barkly, “You think you got another blast in you? Maybe hit that pile of wind?”
Barkly sucks in a breath to test her reserves and it seems a smile lights up her eyes. Turning her head she lets out another fire Burst at the air elemental. The blast encompasses the corpses, elemental, and Dragonshield Blue. (Fire Burst Recharge: 6. Fire Burst: 10’ radius, DC

Recharge result: 6

Character: Hastos, Ibahalii Vriwhulth, the Reaper of Glory v2: IC Thread
Only the weak aur elemental left. Sera scan around for fallen allies and glad none seems to dropped this round.
Going straight at the elemtal and trying not to stumble in the treaure she makes a rather wide swing with her sunblade.
( hits ac 13 .miss I think)
Sera watch how her Spirit guardians swarm over it. She never knew that spell would be so effective.
( 18 radiant save 13 for half)
“That looks like it did wonders, Orr. Lemme try!” Merkas shifts and pulls from the innate well of magic inside him. Flinging his arm forward a bolt of arcane magic flies out and right by the elemental into the wall with a thunderous explosion. (Cast Sorcerous Burst: To hit: 11, Dmg: 7 Thunder)
Shrugging he keeps smiling despite being utterly exhausted “Well, I tried. Gonna rest a bit with Bucky here. Think you got another shot Barkly?” The blue kender sits beside the old treasure hunter.
Loyalty Begets Honour
The force of your throw makes the shard fly true, in spite of the winds whipping around the Air Elemental! The shard explodes just as your firebolt hits it, and the flames burn notably brighter!
Rolled 1d4 Fire Damage: Result +1 added to Fire Damage (10 total)
I believe that is what we agreed upon in the crystal's unenchanted form (boost 1d4 to elemental damage).
Air Elemental Saves: 18, takes half damage.
First Slam: Nat 1, Miss
Second Slam: 13, Miss

( cast 2x cure light wounds at 2nd level. Buckeran gets 11 hp. Merkas gets 15)
”How’s everyone doing? Merkas? Buckeran? Orr?”
Character: Hastos, Ibahalii Vriwhulth, the Reaper of Glory v2: IC Thread
Watching as the spirit gaurdians clear out the wind storm before it can hurt Barkly, Merkas slumps where he sits. When his vision is clear of the tempestuous wind he see guard blue. “Sorry bud, the uh whole place was doomed anyway” As he finishes his statement Sera’s whirling dragonlings finish him off as well.
Sera’s ministration and the relative quiet if the room allows him to relax for second as he says “Thanks Sera, you really are always there when I need you. Sorry if I don’t show my gratitude enough”
“Better than I was, but not a hundred percent, I’d say somewhere about 50/50, but still exhausted, not getting a good nights sleep and all” He winks at Sera as he answers Hastos.
(15: Perception, 2: Insight, What can be seen now that we aren’t fighting and with the exposed eggs. Is there an apparent primary source of corruption that can be cleansed or is it the entire spac)

Buckeran is fully recovered.
Orr the Unshattered is Bloodied.
You each gain 9,625 XP
You find on the ground 1 Air Elemental Summoning Stone (the Air Elemental needs a day to recover before it can be summoned).

A short pause
" thank you...."
“Hmm, I think the spell is just about done, but I am pretty sure I can cast it again. Maybe we just need to get it close enough? What kinda stuff would attract the crawler, maybe some sort of bait? Like these poor unfortunate souls that decided we were better off dead?” Merkas chats away with Bucky a he looks over Barkly.
Loyalty Begets Honour

Sera scoops up a handful...
The exhausted kender just about collapses under the weight of Hastos pats. “Oof, ouch, man being knocked out does not make up for missing a nights sleep”
“I think I got some sort of protection spell, may help with good and evil stuff, though being protected from good always seemed like a strange idea to me, you think it could help you?”
Loyalty Begets Honour
Buckeran muses. "Carrion Crawlers prefer dead things, but they're not above eating things that are sleeping or paralyzed. It probably stayed away from this area because of the poisonous tunnels that are large enough for it to pass through. If we can find a path for the Carrion Crawler that won't turn it into a crystal-fossilised creature, then we have a natural solution to our problem."

" sounds good?"
"
“Sounds good.” Hastos says.”Ok, let’s get this treasure into Buckerans treasury.”
