The weather is spectacular, cool but sunny as you head down the east road, past a few farms and homesteads that get more spread out and less frequent as you get nearer the woods. These woods are wonderous as the name implies but they are also very dangerous so people tend to build their homes as far away from the, that they can afford. The safety of the town doesn’t come cheaply. Salt Peet looks like he is happily pushing his hand cart without any strain, even after you get a few hours down the road, but soon you realize he frequently takes his hands off the cart and it keeps moving of its own accord.

You all are enjoying the easy travel along the nicely maintained road. You are about 50’ from entering the forest proper when the imps keen eyes and danger sense pick up some movement within the bushes and behind some trees. Kind looked like something swatted at its own neck, like at a fly or mosquito.
"Everyone stop!" They held their hand up and instructed julius to walk foward, they would stretch the chain (some magic?) to allow the warlock to walk forward closer into the woods.
As the warlock approaches closer to the woods, looking a bit hesitant seeing everyone else hanging back. He is nearly startled by the war cry from the bushes as 6 goblins leap from their cover and attack.
one of the goblins seems better equipped and dressed nicer than the others who are wearing typically dirty goblin mish mash clothing and armor bits. They are armed with shields and scimitars
