Nacht finds some rocks....they might give a drow a headache if you hit one hard enough in the temple with them.

Elspeth side glances at Buppido. Are you sure? Derro are...unpredictable at best.

Edwin:

Thanking Elspeth for the work on the chains, Edwin goes over to face the orc.  He says, “I meant what I said.  You do right by me, I will try to help you.  Your call.”

Edwin waits patiently for the response.

Dagna gives a shrug. "He'll work with us until we're free at least. After that I can't say."

Nacht shoves its hands, holding the rocks, into the white circles that looked to be its eyes. They go straight through, then it takes its hands back out, no longer holding rocks.

*Basically just pocketing them, but flavored*

The orc eyes Edwin for a long moment, then harrumphs and holds his chains out. (Strength check at advantage)

Elspeth nods. Very well. We should get some rest, for now...work duty will come early. She puts her and Stool's bowls outside the bars, and turns back. No sense in antagonizing them...yet she says with a sly smile.

Edwin:

Nodding at the orc, Edwin works together to break his chains.

Strength Check with advantage:  13

The bowl that Nacht took is nowhere to be found still. 

Dagna nods, moving to set her own bowl outside.

"Jimjar is in as well," Karys tells Dagna and Elspeth. "Nacht as well."

Karys grabs her bowl and finishes the meager meal before placing the bowl back outside of the bars. It's not nearly enough nourishment, and the taste leaves a lot to be desired. She sighs, wondering if she'll ever get to taste actual food again.

Elspeth glances back at the gnomes, nodding more. Good. And once a fight pops off, I'm sure the others will take advantage even if they don't commit right now. We just can't count on them.

Try as you might, these other chains just won't break. The orc grunts, strains, and finally lets out a derisive snort. You no strong. Just lucky. He snatches his chains back out of Edwin's hands and plops down again, angry and breathing heavily.

After a little while, one of the drow comes and collects the bowls. More time passes...enough for a long rest. Can't really tell if it's night-time or not, as day and night doesn't have any bearing on the Underdark. It's just dark.

Having no need to sleep in the usual sense, Karys finds a corner to sit down and trance for four hours. The trance is just as restful as a full night's sleep, but her mind is still semi-aware as it goes into a meditative state.

Nacht, with no need for rest, sits and takes out the rocks it pocketed. It tries to sharpen one with the other. 

Dagna settles into a corner and eventually manages to sleep after unconsciously tracing the shapes of runes on her knee for a while.

Nacht's rocks tend to crumble instead of sharpen.

Hours pass, and eventually you hear voices again. This time, there are 6 regular guards along with the 2 elites you've seen so far. Shor still walks with a certain swagger and disdainful sneer. Jorlan, close up, has a scarred and almost melted looking face. His right arm is twisted, and missing fingers. His face is more of a resigned sneer.

One of the drow points at Nacht, Karys, Elspeth, Buppido and the orc. You five...yer with Jorlan today. He motions to Edwin, Dagna, Derendil, Jimjar, and the kuo-toa. You five go with Shor.

He unlocks the door, opening it up, and motioning for you to hurry. The drow guards all have their hand crossbows in their hands, and Shor and Jorlan have whips and nasty looking swords. Shor has a wand in one hand as well.

Elspeth, with as much dignity as she can muster, stands to her feet. She nods to the ones she's leaving behind, and joins the disfigured drow. The kuo-toa also rises gracefully to his feet and heads out the door as well. The rest of the other prisoners called shuffle out after them.

Dagna clenches her jaw, every instinct in her dwarven blood screaming against submission, but she forces herself to move, keeping her posture obedient. Her amethyst eyes flick to the wand in Shor’s hand as she silently tries to recall such an item from her studies.

Edwin:

Just as he was getting up and preparing to try the others’ chains again, Edwin hears voices approaching.  Rolling his shoulders forward and slouching, he adopts a defeated attitude and follows the female drow, wondering what the day may have in store.

(Dagna's not even sure it's a wand at all now, she's so tense. Maybe it's just stick?)

Nacht walks, looking to be broken of spirit. It looks at the sword out of the corner of its eye.

*would I know what kind of sword it is because I have proficiency in all weapons?*
