You walk through the archway into a massive room. Chairs and tables lie all around the room, with cheerful-looking groups of dwarves, elves, humans, and halflings chatting around tables and eating something in wooden bowls. Three large hallways protrude from the room, one straight forwards, one to the left, and one to the right.
"Welcome to the Rusty Helmet. It is our dining hall and the central hub for the members of the Pax Romana. Through that hallway, (he motions forwards) is where you will find our city center. The citadel is its own city, you know. To the left you will find our city's workshops, where we work and perfect our craft. To the right is our military barracks, where we train our soldiers for our final battle against Cassius. There is also another passage leading from the end of that hall to outside the city. Please, feel free to look around. I must leave to run my shop and avoid raising suspicion. The council will call you shortly."
Justinius begins to walk back towards the secret passage where you came from. "Oh, and also, please do not open any doors. I do not want any of you to get into trouble with our guards."
Iraneus steers towards the left, interested in the craftsmen that the citadel holds. As he passes an empty seat at one of the tables he takes a seat. Looking around at the people around him. "So!" He exclaims, studying everyone's features. "It is nice to meet you all. Iraneus the Valiant, ex-priest, at your service. And how did you all get here?"

Quil walks back over (having found no food and no one to talk with hahaha). "Iraneus, stop flirting. You can meet these people later."
Iraneus laughs off the insult. "Do names even matter anymore? I tend to think it's the actions of a person, not their title that determines who they are."
Iraneus laughs off the insult. "Do names even matter anymore? I tend to think it's the actions of a person, not their title that determines who they are."
The man chuckles. He wears a cloak with an emblem embroidered onto the shoulder. Iraneus, you recognize this emblem as the mark of a priest of Apollo.
“I see you still are a rebellious one,” he says. You recognize his voice as belonging to one of the high priests of the temple of Apollo you knew before you were excommunicated from the order. If you recall correctly, his name is Highus Priestus. He continues to speak:“Iraneus the Disgraced suits you very well. Your disobedient actions led to that title.”
"Highest Priestus." Iraneus growls, his mind stricken with anger. He loses control of his cool demeanor and says in a defiant yet shaky voice, "I should've known. If you would like to dig up the past, be my guest. But I am focused on the future, and I will not stop until Cassius is brought down - even if it means throwing out some high priests who can't see over their own egos. I will remind you, although YOU are still a member of the church, I am not and therefore I do not have to follow any of their guidelines. Especially the ones regarding attacking the defenseless."

Before you two can get any further into your dispute, a halfling messenger comes up to Highus. “Sir, the keeper has sent for you.”
As Highus walks away from your table, he says, “You will regret dishonoring the order of Apollo, Iraneus.”
"Don't listen to him," Kevinus tells Iraneus with a laugh, "he is probably just jealous of your freedom to drink. Let's find out as much about this place as we can before we leave. Where do you want to explore?"
"Who was that?" Quil asks, striding over to Iraneus (hopefully with a full plate of food lol). "Just to note, I offer assassinations for a very low price."
You are currently in a massive room that seems to serve as a dining hall for the citadel. There are three hallways branching off of this room, which were described to you by Justinius. There is also a large table in the middle of the room with soup and other different foods on it. Cooks come from swinging half-doors from around the room, shuffling through the room every now and then to refill any empty pot or platter on the central table.

(OOC: We can assume you just served yourself at the center table)

"No one of import." Iraneus mutters. "Just an old geezer, caught up in the past."
Iraneus continues strolling over to the area where the workshops are, nodding at the people he passes.
You head towards the left hallway, walking past a few tables. As you walk by, people stare at you as if you're crazy.
Before you can reach the entrance to the craftsman hall, a messenger comes up to you. "Gentlemen, the council of the Pax Romana would like to meet with you."
Whispering echoes around the room.
"Please follow me," beckons the messenger as he begins to walk towards the central hall.

Quil, walking with the messenger, tries to pry some information out of him. "Sir, would you perchance know just who is part of this council? Any insight on why they're summoning us?"
(OOC: My Charisma friendliness (Persuasion) check 12. LOL THESE ROLLSSSSSS)
Iraneus follows, saying under his breath, "Is this about Highest Priestus? He can suck my -". He is abruptly interrupted by the people around him who are whispering and gossiping.
