I'm currently running an Eberron campaign set in the City of Towers, Sharn. The group started as 6 and has fizzled down to 3 due to a few drop outs. After a few investigative/heist adventures in Sharn, the group has uncovered a plot that will lead them below Sharn into Eberron's Underdark - Khyber. The adventure is based on the super module from the 90's, Night Below.
I'm looking for 2-3 4th Level characters to join the group and bolster out the party for their adventures below the city. You can use 2014 or 2024 rules, and feel free to use the character options in Eberron: Rising from the Last War to really cement your character in the world. I don't own the Eberron book on DnDBeyond, so if you want to access those character options you'd need to have them yourselves. For ability scores, you can use the Standard Array, Point Buy, or Roll 4d6 Drop the Lowest for each stat.
To further ingratiate your characters with the existing party, here is their high level details:
'The Rouge'
Elero Muhendis: Elf Artillerist Artificer 4
Erix Vadalis: Dragonmarked Human Sheppard Druid 4
Mark Finkler: Half-Elf Fighter 1/ Soulknife Rogue 3
Warforged Monk? Only has 2 stats of note, though, so either has a solid defense or can be a solid grappler.
Are you resource sharing in the campaign? Does that include the Eberron book? I have a couple of the original Eberron books on a shelf behind me, but that doesn't give me access inside D&D Beyond . . ..
I have an character that I barely got to play from another campaign. It's a rotting warforged necromancer named LANDMOP (Locate AND Mitigate or Purge) and was originally creatured as a battlefield cleanup unit.
They've since been fascinated by biology and started studying it, but from a somewhat unorthodox direction. (Again necromancy).
Character Name: Designation Unknown or DuK for short
Ability Scores: Point Buy 16 13 17 8 10 8 8 12
Race: Warforged
Class: Barbarian (Path of Giant)
Background: Giant Foundling
Backstory: I had the idea of DuK just wandering around in the underdark after having escaped from one of the cults of the Dragon Below but him having no idea how he got there or who he was. He tags along with the party hoping to find a way back home where ever home maybe.
Oops, the first rolls weren't working at first. I'll go with those. I'm flexible about class and background.
Name: Zoveldra
Ability Scores: 15 10 16 9 14 12 (Rolled Above)
Race: Kalashtar (I own the sourcebook on here and can content share for the campaign if chosen.)
Class: Monk (Open Hand, 2024)
Background: Guide (2024)
Backstory: Born among the Adaran enclaves, Zoveldra was raised in a community where the mind and body were honed in harmony. From a young age, she showed an unusual affinity for the Dreaming Dark, not in submission, but in defiance—her quori spirit, Veldra, whispering ancient techniques of the Open Hand to counter their insidious grasp.
While many Kalashtar avoided the outside world, Zoveldra felt a pull toward the unknown. She trained as a guide, learning the hidden paths of Eberron’s depths, where reality blurs and the influence of nightmarish forces lingers. The labyrinthine tunnels of Khyber called to her, and she answered.
Her skill in navigating the dark places of the world became invaluable to those seeking forgotten ruins, lost relics, or darker truths. But her journeys also revealed troubling signs—the Dreaming Dark’s influence creeping into the deep.
Morcia Duvax's childhood was not noteworthy in any real way. Her family were laborers and craftspeople in a small Brelish village, and they loved the Crown of Breland as much as the Sovereign Host. Morcia, though, always wanted to do more and volunteered for military service as soon as she could. She proved a capable soldier and was made a squad leader not long after seeing real battle in the part of Breland now ceded to Darguun. Morcia proved a competent non-commissioned officer and their troops had respect for the serious but skilled leader.
Morcia served nearly ten years in the Last War, and in that time grew into a different person. Originally a devout follower of the Host, the ceaseless slaughter and bleak carnage wore away at her faith, and prayers for protection became epithets of vengeance and bitterness. Gone was the admiration of Dol Dorn and Dol Arrah. In its place came a hesitant faith in darker powers, and Morcia muttered prayers to the Mockery and the Devourer as she marched into battle.
Morcia left military service on the Day of Mourning. Stationed only a few miles from the Cyran border, she and her squad watched with horror as the mist rushed at them, only to billow against an invisible wall. Morcia forgot how many mercy kills she made in the days that followed, but knew the war was over, even if the kings and queens did not.
Moving to Sharn, Morcia found service in the city watch. However, she was frequently disgusted by the incompetence and corruption she saw around her. One day, after apprehending a suspect with connections with the Boromar Clan, Morcia grew frustrated by the suspect's cockiness. The halfling assured her that nothing would stick and she'd likely get demoted for the foolish act of detaining him at all. Before she was even aware, Morcia grabbed the halfling's throat and seared it with electricity. An aberrant dragonmark appeared on her skin, crawling up her arm to her shoulder, neck, and even head, moving like a current seeking a path through wood. Morcia was let go, as much for the attack on a suspect as for terrifying, smoking tattoo that had burned through their uniform.
Now, she seeks employment where her skill at arms will be useful. Through the contacts she still had, she put her name out as an soldier of fortune, but the lack of apparent work is forcing her to consider joining up with a guild. She's also trying not to dwell on the fact that she has seen halflings watching her, and hopes that she can find something to shelter her before the Boromar clan decide to strike.
Chose Standard Array for ability scores. Happy to tweak any mechanical or story elements to better fit. Cheers!
Looks awesome! Ebberon is such a rich and awesome setting, and would love to see an adaptation of an older adventure. This will be a placeholder for now while I forge a character (get it? Cause it’s ebberon? Artificers and such? Sorry, I have habit of making bad puns. I should shut up)

Hi, I'm Raccoon_Master, a young genderfluid actor, writer, explorer, and bass vocalist. Pronouns They/Them/Theirs
My Characters: Brorminthe Devout Crusher; Morgrom the Cunning Summoner;Theathe Rebellious Beauty;
Backstory: Even the pirates, err, merchant sailors of the Lhazzar Principalities need spiritual guidance and Mome Khalino is just the person to provide that. She is tough enough to fight when needed and wise enough to serve as a trusted confident from the powerful captain to the lowest scrub. Her beauty certainly helps reel them in, but it is her actions that keep them coming back for more. She is now in the City of Towers after a rare voyage to Breland, trying to stay sober and keep her wits about her while in the Cliffside district.
