Thannadol grunts as he is battered to the floor by the stone. He gets up and quickly surveys the scene. He whips up his wand and with a quick chant 5 bolts of force crack at the closest enemy (Auto hit, 25 force dmg)
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
Thanadol you pepper the nearest Kobold with magic missiles, shredding its torso. It's eyes grow wide with sudden shock and its jaw grows slack as it stumbled backward and falls to the ground dead.
This leaves one Kobold facing Skritch and another facing Dealuri. The third races toward Rachus and brings down its claws in a wild slash Attack: 23 Damage: 6
Gruda turns and releases a lightning bolt that slams into the kobold head, exploding it like a melon. As the creature falls you see beyond it the body of Rachus lying on the blood-soaked ground.
Dealuri your opponent attacks Attack: 20 Damage: 5
Skritchwill scud his Moonbeam across to the kobold threatening Rachus, if that's within 60' of its current location, otherwise to the one facing Dealuri, (7 Rad damage, else CON Save DC13 for half), or, if they're both out of range to the one Skritch is facing.
Then he will take his speed powered attack on the dragon-wannabe in front of him, rending with his mighty claws (TO HIT: 10 / 13 + 5 = 18 >>> DAM: 5 + 3 = 8 slashing dam) and then rend with a bite (TO HIT: 13 / 14 + 5 = 19 >>> DAM: 4 + 3 = 7)! (OOC, I think I only get one, right?)
Lastly he will bonus Healing WordThanadol again, this time for 7hp healing.
And he'll telepathically broadcast to the group, "Fellow worthies, I have but one heal left, and that of only the lowest power. Do yell out if it would be of, er, be of assistance!"
Vakas moves closer and sinks his dagger into the kobold, with electricity flowing into the creature. Due to his (nick) skill with the dagger, he makes a second slice quickly, then he swings with his short sword as well.
Dragontooth Dagger : 17 to hit, for 9 points of piercing damage, 9 points of sneak attack damage, and 3points of electrical damage. 21 points of damage in total.
2nd stab with the Dragontooth Dagger (with Nick) : 9 to hit…
Short Sword : (Nat 1) 6 to hit..

A wizard is never late, nor is he early, he arrives precisely when he means to.
(OOC: DM, not sure what your plan is for Rachus, given his player's must regretted exit, but if you want, we can kind of... 'forget' to heal him, etc. Just let us know if things like casting heals on him gets in the way of your in-narrative explanation for his exit. Cheers)
OOC: Entirely up to the players. Healing him is fine as your next destination is the goblin settlement to ask for their aid and that gives him a natural drop off point. Just treat him as you would any NPC at this point.
Vakas you utterly eviscerate the Kobold facing Skritch. It drops to the ground with a satisfying thud.
This only leaves the one Kobold facing you Dealuri. Close to dead itself, it snarls in wild defiance.
The cracks in the ceiling widen as tendrils of shadow seep through. The beating of wings and the roar of the shadow beast grows deafening. The blue wizards race into the room, looking upward with panic.
"Our wards are fading, it is coming through." Kineth screams above the noise.
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
And with a final blast the kobold is down and the fight is over, but the danger has not passed.
Dark tendrils of shadow snake down from the ceiling and the flagstone begin to crack beneath your feet.
"The sigil, we must break the sigil!" Kineth cries, pointing to the magical circles that still glow red in the centre of the room.
Everyone make a Dex saving throw as the shadows reach through to grasp you. (You a are looking for a 12 or you are restraining, taking 3 necrotic damage.
Skritch, in full leonine glory, his green cloak fluttering behind him, weaves this way and that to avoid the foul tendrils.
DEX SAVE: 14 + 1 = 15 (+ an extra 1 for his lion dex = 16!)
(and Sunhill if needed: DEX SAVE: 13 + 2 = 15)
Skritch bounds up to Rachus and, still as a lion uses his Circle of the Moon power to cast Cure wounds, even though he's still in Wild Shape, healing 13hp.
Then Skritch menta-calls Sunhill to him and they'll examine the sigils. Unable to see how best to destroy them they'll start scratching and tearing at them with their claws.
Dealuri (dex save 23) jumps over and slides under tendrils en route to the red sigils. War pick still in hand, she starts chopping one that is not already under attack by Skritch the Lion and Sunhill the worlds best dog.
Seeing Thanadol start blasting the sigil, for as long remains of his minute's casting, Skritch will place the Moonbeam over it (being careful not to blast his comrades) and rain radiance down on it, aiming to undo its vile eldritch intention.
Skritch you hit Rachus with your healing word and he sits bolt upright, eyes wide and gasping for breath. Turning then you attack the magic sigil, but tooth and claw have little effect on the searing magic.
In the same vein you Dealuri attack the flagstones upon which the magic has been cast. While the stone does indeed chip away the magic remains.
Thannadol you make a brief study of the ritual magics and see the same patterns as you observed in the courtyard. (With a 22) Your instincts ring true as a well placed blast of destruction magic begins to unravel the sigil.
Seeing the wizard at work you bring in your moonbeam Skritch and with a searing crackle of radiant power the dark magic finally breaks and without you hear the ear-splitting howl of the shadow creature as it is torn from this realm.
"It is working." Rachus cries out as he watches the magical weave loosen then break apart.
You all stand in silence. Dust fills the air and a thin sliver of subdued sunlight sleeps in through cracks in the ceiling above. Nearby a solitary kobold can be heard snoring. The final survivor of your battle, still unconscious from the bards sleep spell.
"Thank you." says the blue wizard Vander, in an uncharacteristically friendly voice.
Vakas does a forward roll, rolling away from the dark tendrils of shadow. He stands and sees the sigil broken by the fire bolt and the moonbeam, magically breaking the circle. He sighs with relief and then notes that he’s standing near the snoring kobold. He kneels down and quickly pulls out a length of rope, tying up the kobold. If there is resistance or fight, he will stab the kobold twice quickly with his dagger. He hopes that it will realize when it is beaten and submit to him.

A wizard is never late, nor is he early, he arrives precisely when he means to.
Seeing that Vakas has that last Kobold under control (hopefully!), Skritch will de-Lion, mount up on Sunhill and start skittering and sniffing every which where, starting with their foes bodies, but spanning out across the room, looking for loot.
Here are some rolls that... might apply to such a search (please use or ignore, @DM, as you see fit). Skritch: Perception: 5 + 3 = 8 / Investigation: 4 - 1 = 3 Sunhill: Perception: 18 + 3 = 21 / Investigation: 2 - 4 = -2
You know what, Skritch burns his Heroic Inspiration (from a while back!) to reroll his perception check: And gets even worse, 2 + 3 = 5. Guess if Sunhill isn't fining anything then neither of them are!
