Elven mithril is crafted in Torgovann, where our greatest makers and craftsmen dwell.
If you have sufficient coin, I could arrange for such armour to be forged. However, given Lady Valaith's stature, it might be advisable for you to travel there yourselves, so that it can be made to measure. Seek Netiltan of the Forge of Starlight. He is the artisan responsible for both my armour and Thurston's.
"Let's go there! I will forge you your armor as promised Val!" says Thurston happy with the prostect to complete his idea, both on acquiring the necessary tools and to make her promise true.
"We put my errands on hold because we need to deal with the dragonborn. We should do this on our return too."
He looks apologetically at Val.
"Perhaps we could arrange the materials more locally though." He pulls the scroll back out.
My Lord Keltin,
My thanks. We have the coin and even the forge and a craftsman of great capability. We lack only the materials and a way to obtain them. Would you be able to source some for us?
that may be possible. My lady tells me that you are staying at the Silver Tower. I will join you for breakfast and we can discuss our arrangement.
Best regards, Keltin
True to his word, the lord of Hyarantar joins the Acharnost the next morning in the common room of the Silver Tower. He's accompanied by a pair of elven guards who wait by the door.
"Bainaur, Acharnost!" Keltin greets the gathered heroes warmly. "I hear that you are finally to march for Morloth? That is good news indeed."
Keltin nods his head in kind with Jex's bow, before taking a seat at the table. However, the wood elf's brow furrows in confusion in response to the assassin's statement.
Aiden opens his mouth to speak, then closes it again. Lelfaer had referred to Lúthedir as her brother. But maybe that had been a term of endearment rather than an actual familial bond. "Jex is speaking of a wood elf named Lúthedir. These people saved him from the grasp of some dragonborn sisters that we're seeking information on."
Vark hastily follows the formalities with a bow as well. "Y-yes we contacted him to ask if he could give us information about the fort so we could be more prepared going in. He said in exchange he wanted some of Lady Lelfaer's hair and... well we asked her and she said it must be for some sort of infernal magic."
"Ah," Keltin notes, his mouth twisting grimly. "I'm afraid that Lúthedir is my blood, not my wife's. My Lady has a tendency to refer to him as such, in large part to dissuade his... attentions. Getting him to cooperate can indeed present a challenge. I have yet to learn what he sought in Morloth."
Valaith smiles at the elven lord when he appears, but allows the others to speak on her behalf regarding the obtaining of supplies. She looks at Jex and places a large hand upon his shoulder with a friendly squeeze and an appreciative look. She takes in the information, but does not speak on it as much of the talk of relatives and in-laws or by-laws or whatever such nonsense took place amongst the elves was beyond her ken. Instead she delves into her breakfast with relish, hoping to engage Keltin in talks of martial prowess.
"It is an ancient castle built into the mountainside, dating from the times of the old alliance," Keltin explains, leaning back in his chair and taking a sip from the wine that he has been served. "One might consider it a ruin, but the Dwarves built it to endure. Not a place that I'd attack head on, if I had a choice."
Vark nods intently at the advice. “Jex is sneaky, and I can make me and someone else invisible so we can all scout. There’s gotta be some other way inside. Or maybe me and Aiden can conjure a storm at the gate as a distraction.”
Thurson is strangely quiet during the exchange with the Lord of Hyranthar. From the outside a casual observer could say that he is keeping it cool, but his friends know better. He is trying to decipher all that bloodlines talking. When the conversation turns towards the keep where their enemies hide he quickly forgot that mess of brothers and bloods and pays more attention.
"Every fortress has its flaw. And I dare to say that the worms that imposters sister had manning it are far from the disciplined dwarves that would do that place a real keep to fear. I am confident that they don't have the numbers, much less the discipline. Using cunnnig and stealth we could surprise them and then..." BAM!! he suddenly smash the table with his fist. Maybe not the proper movement when speaking to an elven lord. He smirks "We will put in their hearts Thor's fear... and put that dragonborn sisters to the grave for good. "
Aiden chuckles. "I appreciate your enthusiasm, but what makes you think they don't have the numbers or the discipline? Underestimating these witches could be costly. Besides..." Aiden gestures at the splinters on the table where Thurston's exclamation had dented it. "...you are not known for your stealth, my friend. But Vark is right. Fortresses always have another way in. And a tempest makes for a good distraction, especially to the superstitious." An involuntary spark of lightning jumps from Aiden's hand to the table, leaving a black smudge.

Keltin grins at Thurston's fervour, but nods in agreement with Aiden.
"Wise words, friends. I'm sure that the marquise's task is in good hands. Of course, that is not the purpose of my joining you this morning. Jex tells me that you wish to purchase mithril from Torgovann? Do you have any experience in the working of moon steel?"
"Excuse Mylord " interjects Thurston "I've spent some time learning your techniques in the smith, and I would like to test my skill with the moon steel. I know that I would need some special tools that only your people could provide, but I was expecting to acquire them too. "
"I can arrange for the purchase of the metal, but mithril is precious and easily squandered. Elven smiths must practice their craft for many years before they are permitted to work with it. I will do this for you, if it is what you wish. However, I also strongly recommend seeking out a master to learn from."
Jex receives his response later that evening.

"It would be, were your brother in law to share information freely. But I am sure we shall overcome non-the-less"
He stands to greet the lord of Hyarantar and offers a small bow.
Keltin nods his head in kind with Jex's bow, before taking a seat at the table. However, the wood elf's brow furrows in confusion in response to the assassin's statement.
"Gadron? What is he withholding from you?"
