For the ones that hadn't been collected already, Bründir made his way from body to body pulling any piece of weaponry, armor, or object of apparent value he could. He loaded the valuables (the few he could muster) in the middle wagon and spread what weapons he could find across the three while introductions with this new dwarf were underway. Of the weapons, he kept the largest crossbow in the front wagon with him. He wouldn't be a sitting duck in an ambush again.
When the collecting was done, he met with the others, "Bründir, good t'meet ye. Best we keep the niceties in moving wagons. Won' be long b'fore more come an' we need to patch up."

Characters:
Grishkar Darkmoor, Necromancer of Nerull the Despiser Kelvin Rabbitfoot, Diviner, con artist, always hunting for a good sale Bründir Halfshield, Valor Bard, three-time Sheercleft Drinking Competition Champion, Hometown hero
Val turns towards the newcomer with her axe in hand, watching him warily while the others introduce themselves. She glances at the bandit for any sign of recognition from him and if there is none, she gives a nod of greeting to the man. "I am Valaith Rimehand of the Kalukavi clan. Your timing is good. We need some more sword arms for this job." She glances back at the bandit near her feet. "What do we do with this one? Bind him and take him with? Or should we just kill him now?"
All in all three light crossbows, three scimitars, a mace, a heavy crossbow and sixty four crossbow bolts are recovered from the prisoners and corpses. Archie claims the crossbow and fifteen bolts from his prisoner. Bründir also finds seven gold pieces on a dead bandit he searches.
Valaith's prisoner remains stoic in the face of the whims of his captors, his head bowed. Every now and again Valaith hears him mutter something to himself quietly, but it's hard to make out what.
Val turns back to the prisoner and walks over, putting the flat of her axe blade beneath his chin. With upwards pressure she lifts his head up to look into his eyes. "What's that? You got something to say?"
"Chaos and war, huh" Vark echoes under his breath as he eye the ring one more time before putting it in his pocket. "I uh... I agree with Bründir, we should get moving." he looks to Val as she screams at the prisoner. "Killing him would be... well... quickest."
When Valaith looks upon the bandits eyes they are ash black and swirling, like glass spheres full of thick black smoke. She feels something itch inside her head, like something is reaching out to her, but is able to shrug it off. When her gaze is drawn back to the bandit once more he has started to cough up blood, moments later he falls sideways to the ground, motionless.
Val hisses. "Sorcery!" She immediately begins to look around for the magic user that fled earlier. "See to this man, save him if you can. If so, bind and gag him!"
"Leave 'im! Whate'er did that pro'lly don' want loose ends. We need t'move now."

Thurston is taking care of Dornos arm when the others come and introduce himself without stoping assessing the injury. He then prays to Thor to heal the brave warrior health so he can continue fighting.
(How many HP down? I can spend as much as 10 of Lay on hands and cast a couple of spells to heal you up)
When the prisioners starts to cough he tries to reach it before it collapses but he isn’t.
OOC: Frandal, we're using a wounds and vigour system for this campaign for more realistic combat. The rules for it are here in our discussion thread.
The current status of the party's wounded is: Bründir: 5/9 Vigour, 13/14 Wounds Dorno: 5/10 Vigour, 12/17 Wounds Valaith: 8/15 Vigour, 18/18 Wounds Vark: 6/8 Vigour, 9/16 Wounds
Vigour follows the normal rules for hit points and healing, and is restored fully after a long rest. Wounds heal more slowly. Cure wounds spells heal a number of wounds equal to the number of dice that would normally be rolled. Five points of lay on hands will heal one wound.
Archie finds no trace of any bandits or other threats nearby. However, Thurston's divine sense detects a fiendish presence from the captured bandit.
Vark’s mouth drops open in shock. “A-Aureaonus talked of fiends.... I- this- I think he might have been... possessed. Or something I... I don’t know exactly but yes, this feels like the touch of some devil or demon.”
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
“ I don’t think so... this one has been tainted by some fiendish presence... “ he kneels before him and uses his hammer to turn him facedown. “ This is so weird... “
Religion? To see if I can discern something more? Arcana? . 19 Religion result plus 1 Arcana rexult minus 1
He would had use a cure wounds on Dorno before that happened. We will see for the rest later I guess: Targeting Vigour 6
On closer inspection it becomes apparent that whatever force had briefly inhabited the bandit is definitely long gone - and has left his empty shell lifeless.
The soothing power of Thurston's healing spell restores Dorno's energy and leaves him feeling fresher, although his wounds remain.
“Well best not to linger, who knows who or what is still out here. We should probably get him out of sight right? I would do it but you know... tiny legs and arms.” Archie pats Val on the back “Thanks Val”. He then climbs up into one of the carts and sprawls out to take a nap.
The drivers return to their wagons and an hour later the convoy has cleared the crevasse. The day is starting to draw to a close, but it should be possible to moved beyond the mountains and into the thickly wooded foothills on the edge of Eldren forest before nightfall.
The party may take a short rest before continuing and anybody who wishes to may spend hit-die to recover vigour may do so. (Let me know the result if you do.)

Dorno winces a little but otherwise just bellows "yes, thank you." "One of those bad men hit me!"
