Jasra gasps as the goblin's arrow hits her in the shoulder. The wound isn't fatal but it is bad. Gritting her teeth she sends another Fire Bolt towards the goblin archer, tapping in to some of the chaotic magic in her blood to make sure it hits.
OOC: Cast Fire Bolt on the Goblin archer, using Tides of Chaos to give Advantage. 14 to Hit, 4 Damage.
**OOC: Sending my turn already since today might get busy for me, hope that's okay**
Following Pisgah's order silently, Calen wordlessly runs up to [left goblin archer], hoping to eliminate him before he can further hurt Jasra or anyone else.
Movement: 30ft to get into melee with both goblins if possible, otherwise get into melee with left goblin archer Action: Quarterstaff attack on Left goblin (22 to hit for 8 damage) Bonus action: unarmed strike on left goblin if he is still standing, otherwise I will hit the remaining goblin, if possible (nat1 unless I am flanking with Pisgah, then 12to hit for 5 damage)
The left goblin is hit by the firebolt, stumbling before being nocked aside by Calen's quarterstaff. Your attacks don't hit the remaining goblin, who looks in fear at his allies mangled bodies, holding his shield and sword defensively. It is now Pisgah's turn, as the other goblins are dead.
Movement: Will pivot around the goblin to gain flanking advantage if possible without leaving melee range if no one else can give flanking will stay where I am
Action: Longsword attack on the goblin (if I have advantage then a nat 20 for 25 to hit for 10hp of dmg otherwise 18 to hit for 9 points of slashing damage (4+3+2 rage dmg), if hit the goblin has disadvantage on its next turn)
Reaction: if the goblin tries to run or any AoO presents itself, Pisgah will attack and go for a non-lethal strike.
Pisgah will shift around to gain flanking if possible and then attack with a longsword.
You manage to flank the Goblin, slashing at it's back with your blade. You specified a non-lethal blow for AOO, so I will assume you don't mean to kill it here.
You nock out the Goblin, and the battle is won. You each gain 75 xp. What do you do next?
OOC: I don't think Pisgah would have done the non-lethal on the first strike especially with his rage still rampant. I don't mind making it non-lethal but if you want to leave it. I will leave that to you as the DM.
Pisgah pivots and looks out to the woods along the road. "Any idea where they came from? Are there others hiding out there?"
PERCEPTION 5
"Nope, it looks like we are in the clear." Pointing the toe of a boot at the downed goblin, "I wonder if they are the same group that killed the horses and attacked the wagon?"
Pisgah then begins to look at the arrows and bows to determine if any of them are useful. It they are, Pisgah will pick up one bow and as many arrows as seem serviceable.
INVESTIGATION 7
Pisgah drops the bows back in the dirt, "Ah, this is just useless junk."

I'll split the difference. If no action is made to stabilize the Goblin, he will die from bleeding out.
Ranbrek glances around the battle field before quickly turning back to his companions to discuss their next move.
"We need to make a decision on what to do next. Some of us are pretty banged up, and it wouldn't hurt to rest here and recover. That runs the risk of being ambushed though, and I'm not sure we could handle another attack. I could also sooth Jasra's injuries, seeing as she got hit the hardest by the goblins, and we could push on to Phandalin. 'Course, if we run into any more trouble, I wouldn't be able to heal anybody else."
Ranbrek then notices the half-dead goblin on the ground, bleeding out but still breathing.
"Aye, perhaps I'll use my last bit of magic to save this little fellow instead of healing Jasra," he says jokingly.
Pisgah approaches Ranbrek and extends an arm, "Well thank you for healing me. I haven't felt healing like that since Oliver and I were last in a scrape. I wonder if she is safe now? Anyway, I thank you. Whatever you decide to do. We could take a short rest here and then move on. If you folks want to rest and check the area for anything useful or clues about where these goblins came from, I can scout around and patrol. With Ranbrek's healing, I am feeling really good."
Calen looks over to the defeated goblin. 'Respect life in all of its shapes and forms.' The thought comes to her unbidden. Going over to the goblin, she will try to stabilize without waking the goblin up (Medicine check: Nat1 for 4).
Up close, the damage is too severe for her to heal with just basic supplies. She instead sits down a few feet away from the creature before turning to the group.
"I feel fine to continue or I can keep watch while we rest." Then she looks back to the goblin and stays quiet.
Pisgah moves out to the edge of the woods and begins to make a widening circle around the ambush area. He will attempt to move quietly when he presses into the woods and will also keep an eye for goblin tracks leading up to the ambush in an attempt to determine their direction of travel (Elgolino - not sure what roll you want to test for the footprints/tracks - rolled SURVIVAL and PERCEPTION both but let me know if you want something else).
"Well thank you for healing me. I haven't felt healing like that since Oliver and I were last in a scrape. I wonder if she is safe now? Anyway, I thank you."
"Ah, don't worry about it. It's the least I could do considerin' you took down most of those goblins."
Ranbrek turns back to Jasra, and uses Cure Wounds to heal her for 6 hit points.
"As for you lass, you took quite a hit in that fight. You sure that mage armor of yours is better than some good-old dwarven steel? Regardless, rest outta do you some good. Same goes for you Calen, you've got more than just a small cut on your shoulder there. I'd reckon it's best we take a brief rest here, then try and get as far as we can before nightfall."
After circling around the makeshift campsite for the better part of an hour, Pisgah makes his back into the camp.
"Well, I couldn't find any sign of tracks to indicate where these guys came from but was able to find some berries and fruit that I brought back to share. Did y'all find anything on the horses or in the wagon to indicate who was attacked or what they were carrying?"
Calen nods at Ranbrek words and starts looking around the immediate area for something edible to forage while also keeping an eye out for more dangers (Survival check: 14; Perception check: 5)
As Calen looks for danger, she finds something. Behind the thickets, towards the north, a trail leads northwest. About a dozen goblins seem to have walked along this trail, and two human sized bodies were dragged along it.
Calen points this out to the rest of the party, once she is back, "I think I found more trouble instead of berries." She says and explains the trail and its location.
Pisgah looks back in the direction Calen pointed, "Huh, I don't know how I missed that, normally I am better at that sort of stuff. I must really be off my game. I don't like the idea of you going alone. I can follow behind you about 30 feet or so and could get to you if you stumble into anything. Jasra, how are you doing? Are you up to a detour? The alternative is we could continue on to Phandalin, deliver the goods we were contracted to carry, and come back. There may be a bounty offered in the town if these goblins have been impacting trade."

Despite her pain Jasra gives a pained grin. "Try it and I'll zap you. I'm not going to lie I thought I was a goner there. I'll need some help."
The half-elven sorceress has removed the goblin arrow from her shoulder - a ghastly souvenir but hey at least she survived.
After a minute or two, Calen gets back up again and makes her way to Jasra and Ranbrek (assuming Pisgah is still investigating the area).
"Should we find a place to rest for now? I could try to find some food and shelter for us, once Pisgah is back."
** Ooc: Side question, what time of day is it more or less or should I roll for that? **
As Pisgah looks around, he cannot find anything of great importance, although searching for footprints would require a survival check.
The Goblin soon perishes from his wounds, the labored breathing no longer being produced from his body.
It is midday.
"Ah, don't worry about it. It's the least I could do considerin' you took down most of those goblins."
