A copper crown with six arrowhead-shaped malachite spires hangs from one of the carrion crawler’s stony tentacles and is easily retrieved.
The carrion crawler's crumpled statue and tentacle with the crown is next to the one that glistens.

Uggh, smell like the dead. Let's go away. Capa is uninterested in whatever is in that back room and starts walking down the long hallway away from the smell.
Noting you take each room in order, I'll run you through the next few figuratively.
19a. Servants’ Feast Hall
This room reeks. The table here has mounds of rotted meat on them. The detect magic you are running shows conjuration magic near the table. Perhaps a cycle of food conjured at times. You saw bits and pieces of food in the manticore room which the Troll probably delivers from here after eating some too.
19b. Guards’ Feast Hall
You find under one of the tables in this room is a copper tankard with a hinged lid You do a quick appraisal and guess it is worth. (25 gp).
19c. Nobles’ Feast Hall
The door to this room doesn’t open easily. Inside, propped against the door, is the maggot-eaten corpse of a female dwarf adventurer wearing tattered leather armor and a matching leather skullcap. In one skeletal hand, she clutches a dagger; in the other, an empty tin flagon. On a bench in the room is her burglar’s pack, complete except for the lantern and the flasks of oil.
You noticed a door back in the first of the last three rooms you check. A green door just as the detect magic runs it's course you do notice it did radiate magic.
OOC - The group has two choices kind of. Use the door that opens to a hallway that goes east or work your way back to the beginning to try a new direction?

Through some sort of time warp you all have been accelerated through the first 3 levels.
You now stand at the entrance to the 4th lvl of the mad mages dungeon. The Twisted Caverns.
You are mentally familiar with Skullport and Tas THE archmage there. Tas' roomTas had their contacts meet your as you finished lvl 3 of the original crew Arden, Levi, Capa and Zertell. Gave you a tour of the place by her apprentices and showed you the do's and don'ts. You have access to her teleportation circle (TPC) to get back to Waterdeep where a paired TPC with another contact of Halaster's resides. Forces beyond your current comprehension played a part in your travels so far. The Mad mage works in mysterious ways. On your way to lvl 4 you unknowingly went through a portal This was a one time process Not of Halaster's doing. The feeling of it was cosmic more godly. Things changed. It is now Arden 2.0, Jaeajo with Capa's bag of holding more on this in PM, Cleggor and Sniva are standing there ready to go, but you don't know each other.
Arden landed solidly on his feet at the entrance to Level Four. Unbeknownst to him, the same divine forces that had changed him had also taken away memories of the floors above—of Zertell, Levi, Capacuana. Their absence left a quiet, aching hollow in his chest, one he couldn’t name, only feel.
He took stock of those beside him. Another dwarf. A dragonborn. A kobold. An odd-looking lot, to be sure. Still… it felt right. Like paths meant to cross.
“Aye… ye lot get ‘ere thanks tae Tas? Name’s Arden Brightsteel. Blessings upon ye, from the Morninglord an’ the Earthmother.”
The rising sun of Lathander shone upon his shield, while an amulet of Chauntea, wrapped in living vines, hung from his battleaxe.
“So then, what brings ye tae this place? I aim tae reach the end o’ this dungeon—an’ if the gods will it, put a stop tae the madness festering in this vile place.”
You see a dwarf with a cloak over finely woven mail, holding a staff with some leaves still attached at the top. He's stowing away a broom on his pack with a confused, befuddled look on his face. He turns to regard his fellow dwarf, giving a cautious smile at the friendly greeting. "Arden Brightsteel. Pleasedtameetcha. M'name's Cleggor. Cleggor Stonefield. I was in the Yawning Portal seems like just a moment ago, speaking to Durnan, then I started to make my way down on my trusty broom, then whammo blammo, appeared right here. Greetings to you, my friend. If'n you don't mind, I'll help ya with ending the madness in this place. I heard that Waterdeep... uh.. had a lot going on. A lot to be set right. Guess this counts for that. I'll help ya in whatever way I can. I'm more comfortable among the trees and the animals of the woods, but I can do a thing or two. Ho now. Who have we here?" Cleggor turns to face Sniva and Jaeajo, scratching an itchy spot on his beard as he considers them, then he gives a shake like he's a dog coming in from the rain.

A wizard is never late, nor is he early, he arrives precisely when he means to.
Sniva looks around after what he thought was going to be a look at the first level of this dungeon. He thought he spotted someone going down ahead of him at the Yawning portal. Maybe something else is at play here. That wasn't normal he though as he looks around at the other's by him.
"Mmmm, I am Sniva. Mystra be my link to the gods. I am here to get to the end of this dungeon even if it takes my last breath. It seems we might have a benevolent benefactor helping us along at least for this last bit. What of this Tas you speak of? Arden ey. We're going to need some strong help to get through this dungeon. I'm grateful you three are hopefully here to do the same as me. I suggest we get sorted here then move in once we are all set. Thankfully my familiar is with me. I'll check my gear and make sure it's all set right too."
Sniva goes through his stuff and all looks ok.

An older Dragonborn with red dragon heritage winks in. His goatee is turning white and he is slightly stooped although you can see a twinkle in his eyes. He seems to shimmer when he moves, making it challenging to know exactly where he is standing. His voice is a deep baritone that rumbles out of him and into your chest as he says slowly, My name is Jaeajo. It is a pleasure to jam with you cats. He has a lute on his back, a quarterstaff in his hand and a shield on his arm. I usually let my music do the talking. He pulls out the lute and strikes up a strong tune that strengthens the resolve of all those nearby (Bolstering Performance, each get 10 temp HP)
ooc - Arden has his spell list set and i will use the free cast of Find steed to summon the Fey version. His aura gives a +4 on saving throws to all allies within 10ft of him.

Arden nodded to his new companions, an easy grin resting on his face. He gave off the calm air of someone content to do right by others and enjoy the road while he was on it.
“Aye, good tae meet all o’ ye—Sniva, Jaeajo, Cleggor, Ollie. An’ ye. I’ve met the archmage lass livin’ up in Skullport. She’s the one what casts teleportation spells, for a price. Reckon that’s how I ended up ‘ere. If we need tae head back tae the surface, we can go up a level an’ find her again. An’… I should’ve done this sooner.”
He banged his battleaxe against his shield with a solid clang. A summoning circle flared to life before him, glowing with verdant, divine light. Moments later, a large horned feline with bright orange fur emerged, padding forward to lick at Arden’s cheek.
“Aye, that’s enough, ye big softy,” Arden laughed. “Missed ye too, Zig’thul. Can’t find a finer steed in this damned dungeon.”
Cleggor admires the horned feline, not something he’s used to seeing… ever. “Wow. Will ya look at that… Say, you fellers know where we are? Which way we should go? If so, somebody lead on..”. Cleggor looks up at Ollie for a second, tilting his head and the owl flies around the corner and stops, hovering, Cleggor gets glassy eyed for a moment, almost like he is trying to look through the owls eyes.
