“Should we head east then? Less see now…”. Cleggor sends Ollie to the east, his eyes glazing over, he waits for the report and looks like he is straining his eyes to look carefully.

ooc - Just gonna check out what else is there aside from the gourds that might help find the alchemist. After checking what's there, we can just avoid the piercers unless they attack first. Ah, and I'll roll the survival check you asked for, DM. Survival:10
Arden glanced toward the piercers to the south, then shook his head.“Aye, let’s ignore ’em fer now. If they don’t come our way, no sense startin’ a fight.” He nudged Zig’thul forward slightly and gestured toward the tunnel ahead.“I’ll check this tunnel first, then we head east.”With that, Arden and Zig’thul made their way north, keeping an eye out for any signs of people or anything valuable worth taking along.
Sniva looks around as they move into the east chamber noting south the piercers from the Arden and Ollie. He's looking down at the cavern floor just like the tracks of Jibber-Jabber were spotted he finds there are back-and-forth tracks of several bugbears, a troll, and a hook horror.
"Sniva stops the others and there have been bugbears a troll and a hook horror through here. There are track in the soft mushy cave floor all around here."

Arden head north and just around the corner he sees the walls are set with shelves at various heights. They hold numerous gourds, likely potions of sorts. A rough-hewn block of stone in the middle of the cave serves as a table. It is covered with a set of alchemist’s supplies. There stands a human alchemist in what they consider their home.
"The alchemist notices you, "Whoa there. You're not Jibber-Jabber. Why you come here? I heard noises how many are there of you? I will not tolerate theft of my potions."

"Be calm, my friend. Thieves we are not. Friends, or at least trading companions, of Jibber-Jabber we are. How about a drink and a song, I can provide the song if you can provide the drink."
“We had a nice little chat with Jibber-Jabber. Traded stories and shared goods, got some nice mushrooms and fixed us all some tasty snacks. My name is Cleggor sir, I have a way with cooking that can heal you up as you eat. He mentioned that you were here, how long have you lived here? Any interesting concoctions with what grows around here?” Cleggor looks on with a true since of curiosity.

There are a few of ya then I see. Cleggor, mmm I say probably a year or so. Halaster captured me and stuck me here, crazy old kook., I've be practicing my potion crafting here ever since. If you can gather some fungi for me, I can offer one potion max 2 if you bring double. I require 20 pounds of edible fungi and five tongues of madness, plus 50 gp worth of adventuring gear. You'll have to hunt for the stuff a bit in the caverns. Say....Why are you all down here then.?"

Arden lowered his shield once he saw the alchemist meant no harm. “Mute? Nae, lad. And we ain’t thieves neither. Just explorin’ the dungeon, seein’ how far we can make it.”He tilted his head slightly.“Ye make potions for Jibber-Jabber? If we bring ye some fungi and whatever else ye need, could ye make some for us too? This is a dangerous place, and we could use all the friends we can get.”
He gave a friendly nod.“Name’s Arden Brightsteel. And this here’s Zig’thul.”He lightly patted the head of his felidar mount.
Cleggor scratches his chin with interest. "What kind of potion can you make with the tongues of madness? I'd be fine to hunt some supplies for you, if we could share in your potions that are produced. Moreso, I'd just like to see how you cook! I fancy myself perhaps a beginning alchemist, and if you would be up to impartin any wisdom, I'd be mighty obliged. What say you fellers?" He looks toward his fellow explorers to see if they would be up for this task.

So, you been level here ever Halaster captured you about a year ago. Content are you down here? Or are you up to wander with us? No trouble to us, either way. Jaeajo is cool if the alchemist is cool with whatever the alchemist decides.
Cleggor turns to the alchemist, saying "Yeah, like he said. You could join us, if you are looking to get out of here. Or, to do something different. We could use a good alchemist, in case we are in dire need of a potion and so forth. Plus just the company, to talk and spin yarns, et cetera. I imagine ole Jib Jab isn't much of a conversationalist. What say you? Maybe we could help each other .."
