Stumbled across an AI site that seems to be specific for creating D&D characters. You tell it what you want, then it prompts you for more information. There's a limit to how many you can generate in a day, but I was happy with the first try :-)

Backstory: I was born on a small island to a wandering, lost mother who was banished from her kingdom of elves for falling in love with my father, a simple shipwright from the human colony of mistharbour, in Hybridge. (Misspelled intentionally) I lived happily the first decade and a half of my life, but then it happened. One day my father never came home from work. I heard that the Rango were spotted in port that day. I had no proof, but I knew. They had taken my father from me. I took up his work at age fourteen to keep me and my mother fed. I took a special interest in the armaments of the ships I built, and began to design my own. I for years longed to go see the world, but was stuck on my tiny island in my tiny town, taking care of my mother. Finally, opportunity presented itself. The man who normally bottled the storm for our island was injured, and my island needed someone to step up fast, lest we all fall to the sea. I took the job with joy, and went to bottle the storm. I managed to, but not without the sea exacting its price. Lightning struck my boat. Or rather, lightning struck me. In the face. My right eye was burned out of my head, and I now bear scars up and down my arms, in the image of arcing electricity. Something else happened too. Some of the storm stayed with me. When I got angry, lightning crackled up and down my arms. I could throw it like a ball. I could call the wind to carry me. Something about that storm changed me. And I intend to find out what. After my adventure, my mother realized she couldn’t keep me on the island forever. She gave me her blessing, and my fathers flintlock pistol that had passed down his family for generations. With nothing but a gun on my hip and a storm raging inside me, I left home. I found the crew at a local port, and found that they were looking for a powder monkey. My experience in cannons and armaments lent me to the job and I applied….

Also additional detail: Devian is applying for the surgeon roll, he'd much rather be a savior of life than have to kill anything. (including animals but he's not picky on what he eats)

Do we start with a pistol or musket? They aren't avialbe as starting equipment and can't be bought for 50 gp.

Updated original post to include Full character sheet. Took a while to finish it (Adding the race too most of the time). No guns, they'll be easy to add if/when we get them.

One question I have for the creator of the post is: can we take out like two from one stat to add to another. I just kinda want to make my character's stats reflect him so is it possible?

 oh, updated stats:

str 9

dex 19

con 14

int 18

wis 14

cha 8 (decreased more then I increased int, I thought it would be better for my character)

Uhh so after the base origin modifiers I have 13, 19,14, 10, 20, and 13 respectively. Should I revert back? Also what skill would you say involves like surgery and/or applying casts or other things to help a party member? (Also does goodberry work as sustenance or do we have to eat actual rations?)

 Goodberry works, I think you should revert back, Medicine.

Sounds good. I figured as much though. Also because of one of my character's traits could I maybe keep the wisdom but nerf everything else? Or if not the wisdom the passive perception of 19 except it's only in a 30 ft radius. Also did you check the perks on the subclass I sent you and is it ok to use? (pretty sure it was in PM's)

Looks good. Yeah sure, but you might not need the passive perception.

Yet another question--I swear it's the last for a while--can I have a pistol and longbow as starting equipment or do I need to wait to get them. Reason I'm asking is because it was a personal gift to my character from someone very dear to him. The bow he can live without but not his pistol--his pistol is the one thing he refuses to pawn off to pay for food.
