Liwen was quite tipsy and waved a hand in acknowledgement at Levna as he slowly mastered is wayward legs back to his room to sleep satisfied with a good night of remembrance and libations "Goodnight all and may you truly embody your roles tomorrow."
Levna lifts another ale gingerly and takes a soul cake from the top of the coffin, helping to rectify any sins Ispin had so he could pass into the heavenly realms instead of becoming a ghost. It was light and tasted of sweet honey.
The gnome has moved on from the Summer Shandy he finished earlier with all the toasts and has instead tried a different brew. Named Bettsie's Betwixing Brown, the ale was more malty than the previous lighter one but pictured a dancing cow with a silly grin on the keg it was drawn from. As the event begins to break apart, the tinker too grabs a Soul Cake. He raps on the coffin twice, "Just for good luck and old times my friend. Peace be upon you until we meet again in the next life. Reorx grant rest upon you" The heavier stout contradicts the sweeter flavor of the cake. With the mug half finished, he pours the rest on the ground outside. "We will share more again when you are laid in your final rest, until then, this much is for you."
With that, the tinker heads to his room with a sad heart, twinged ever so slightly with a hint of excitement at tomorrow's reenactment.
The paladin rises as well, steadying himself against the table for a moment before heading over to the coffin. It is tempting, especially in his inebriated state, to gobble up all of the soul cakes just to be sure, but he limits himself to one. "You'll be alright," he murmurs, reassuring himself more than anything, "It's up to the rest of us now. I-I...won't forget." He gives a shaky nod and heads towards his room, taking bites of the partially crushed cake in his hand.
The kender looks around and sees that people are disappearing to their rooms and she frowns. She isn't ready for the party to be over. She takes a seat and grabs her mug with both hands and looks into her drink. "Ispin and I would stay up till the wee hours of the morning as he entranced us with his tales. I miss those days as I would sleep way past what is proper and I don't know how he did it, but he was always gone on to his next adventure before I could even crawl my way out of bed!"
A tear rolls down her cheek, she's been keeping herself so busy and excited with all the new people and the adventure she was on.. but now the heaviness of it all falls upon her. She downs her ale, sets the mug down and wipes her tear away. She trudges up the steps once everyone has cleared out.
