A few questions as I consider what I would like to submit for this game.
1) 2014 or 2024?
2) AllIowed sources beyond the PHB?
3) Ability score generation? Roll? Point Buy Standard Array?
4) Is the intent to work our way through each of the 13 missions in the book or just selected ones? If select ones, what level would we be starting with?
I would be interested in playing either a Bard or a Rogue and have a few thoughts of species/race depending on what is available. Thanks!

In any case, I am thinking of a character that is a naive and good-aligned who is in debt to some unsavory individuals due to him needing to pay someone to cast a spell to revive a loved one. Of course, if I am chosen, I will flesh this out more. For race/class, I am thinking probably human ranger or human druid.
I think I would be wanting to run an off kilter wizard, sorcerer or warlock.
Regardless of class, they are an Anthropologist or Archeologist. They're in it for the discovery and intrigue, the possibility of treasure is just icing on the cake

I've been playing with the idea of a Tortle dragon blood sorcerer who identifies as a dragon or a monk (astral self or elements) who is seeking to personally challenge his own abilities to become the best of the best.
I'm interested in playing. I like front-lining, so I'd play a dragonborn barbarian. He'd be in on the quest for the money, but he has some "golden retriever" energy and gets easily attached to people. Leans into being the big strong dumb guy and is protective of his team. Either an ex-mercenary or a representative of such a company.
Hey! Im interested in joining in, I don't have many experience thought so maybe I need a bit of guidance in some things. Ill be playing as a 25 year old female barbarian, ex member of a cult that tried to sacrifice her, but could run away with her now lost brother. She wanders around with the only hope on seeing her brother again. She's seriouss but not unkind, and can get attacked to peaple easly due to her abandonment issues.
Last night I was on a Keys from the Golden Vault PBP here that was abruptly stopped/ended. The character I had was a 2024 generated thief. I was a mid game replacement but picked as they did need a thief. He was generated for this game.
Background - Parents died in a mining accident, as an orphan was taken in by a retired thief. The retired thief taught me how to be a a great thief, but I was not a front man. Being an orphan I am not used to "nice" things. I steal for the basics and the fun of succeeding. I am in the shadows and never stand out or try to lead. I am happy following the flow.
Flaws - Isn't very strong and due to the age can be very immature
Member of the Thieves Guild and in the now dead PBP, the church (of Mask) was a reskinned (?) "Golden Vault"
