Dvu tries to gather and direct anyone who is nearby him, his big legs running as fast as he can away from the avalanche. He runs 70 feet away from the oncoming snow, looking for any rock formation or cover as a shield.

A wizard is never late, nor is he early, he arrives precisely when he means to.
Ophelia blames the goats and can credit her quick reaction for saving her. She quickly catches up with the front of the group outside of the path of the avalanche. As it tumbles safely behind the group, you consider both how painful the ride down in the snow would have been and how much more challenging the descent will be now that the path is covered, unless there is another route.
The shadows grow longer and darker as the day moves along. The air is even colder and the wind sharper the higher you go. You reach a steep snow-covered incline dotted with jagged rocks. Lying facedown in the snow is a barely conscious humanoid in bloodstained ripped cold weather clothes.
The shrewd young white-haired wizard quickly studies the grisly scene and draws some conclusions. "Beware, whatever attacked that one is likely closeby." She says, calling on Oculus to be her eye in the sky to assist her with locating any hidden threats.
Once Marva determines that she and the rest of the group are safe from the avalanche, she plonks down in some nearby snow and laughs loudly, “Ha!” and then immediately covers her own mouth. More quietly, she adds, “I guess I shouldn’t start another one. But the raw power! It’s staggering! I’m glad no one got hurt, but, I mean, wow!” She takes a moment to catch her breath, eyes bright. Once everyone is ready to continue, she takes her usual spot, chuckling quietly to herself every now and then.
The moment that the silver dragonborn sees the injured person, she runs toward them, holding forth her shield,* and a spark of bright blue light speeds toward them, healing them for 6 points. Marva kneels next to the person and looks them over. She asks, “Are you okay?” and then mutters to herself, “Oh! Why do I always ask that? Such a dumb question.” She continues, “Listen, you are going to be okay. We’re here to help. What happened?”
(*The party may or may not have noticed the design on Marva’s shield, the outline of an unfurling scroll. She is using Divine Spark to heal the stranger.)
“Be careful!” Drift shouts to Marva, but she has already run over, and the absence of pitfalls or any sudden lurch from the apparently injured man is reassuring and concerning in equal measure.
As an ember of blue flame sparks toward the injure man, Drift approaches too. He passes his hands over the ripped cold weather gear, pinching and folding at tears that — usually — strangely seem to go as if affected by a mage’s Mending cantrip.
He calls his flying wonder down, and, again in a way where each movement seems to make sense with the next, but then suddenly to have changed one thing so completely as to be impossible, Drift’s tinker magic is used to make a large sack and large blanket, with the intention of insulating and then carrying the man, perhaps (if Dvu is willing), securing the man to the biggest of their party.
All lyrics, poems, haikus and soliloquys flee like frightened goats from the forefront of Ophelia's mind as she sees the solitary survivor in the snows. Instead, as she makes her way over (slower than Marva), she pulls a torch from her pack and lights it with a word in Elvish (Druidcraft), laying it down gently next to the fallen stranger to at least provide a small amount of warmth and light.
At Ellora's warning, Ophelia turns, trusting Marva and Drift to tend to the survivor, and immediately begins casting and concentrating on Blade Ward.
Between castings, she also gestures strangely with her fingers and creates illusory cover for the group huddled around the fallen stranger, ten feet uphill in a five foot cube (Minor Illusion), so any creature above would only see the unbroken expanse of snow rather than the party.
Noting the clever use of magic from the peculiar elf, Ellora does the same, calling upon the weave to create an image of snow covering her as she huddles down, still scanning around for any hidden threats.
You quickly assist the fallen person. He wakes up and introduces himself as Garret Velryn, the person you have been seeking! He reports that anti surprised him and his companions higher up the mountain a few days ago. He lured the beast from his companions but got seriously injured during his dangerous distraction. The yeti left him and he fears the worst for his companions, insisting that he is responsible for them so must find out what happened to them.
While you are caring for Garret, two crag cats appear 20’ away. They smelled Garret and the rest of the group but are a bit unclear since it is hard to see each person.
The two cats sense of smell is impressive but the camouflage does help as does Oculus warning to Ellora. Marva, who is standing over their prey, is attacked by one crag cat, which misses both Marva and Garret. The other aims for the Goliath, an easy and desirable target that it has eaten many times before, and succeeds to cause 8 hp piercing damage from its bite. The two crag cats are in close proximity to everyone in the group - less then 30’.
The entire group can go in any order you wish. Once done, the crag cats will resume.
Still hidden inside her snowy image, Ellora winces as she watches the feroocious feline rake at the massive goliath. Prudently staying still and quiet in her cover she calls upon her white fire to scorch the closest beast.
Marva uses her shield to block the large cat’s attack, shifts her position, and hollers, “Back off!” Her breath coalesces into tiny shards of frost that rip at the beast before her.
(She uses her breath weapon which does 7 points of cold damage if the crag cat fails a 12 Dex save or half that if it saves. She has the option of a 15’ cone or a 30’ x 5’ line, so if possible, she would like to hit both cats but no allies. She would move as needed to create that opportunity.)
