Drift will move to put his back to the wall behind him as his eyes scan for an invisible enemy, but as he sees Zuleikha tangle with the second Duergar, he growls in frustration. Can a tired man not have a single good night’s sleep?
That rage is channeled through his knotted, thorny ear wand and the Fire Bolt is commensurately fierce.
"Ah, you seem a more cordial fellow than your companion! Good day to you!" Zuleikha says cheerfully, as she dips her head in greeting, before proceeding to sweep her blades at the enlarged duergar's gut. "I will offer you the same courtesy I granted your cousin - put down your weapon, and let us treat as travellers sharing a fire. Now, tell me, what is it that has your friend so aggrieved?"

Seeing her companions swiftly finishing off the enlarged duergar, Ellora focuses her senses on locating the one that turned invisible, listening for revealing sounds or slightly moving furniture and such.
Marva moves closer to the bid duergar and chills it slightly with her breath. Dvu moves closer as well but misses with his staff (do not mark off a spell slot for Hunters Mark). Ophelia gets a clean shot with her longbow and strikes true before returning to the doorway. Drift releases his sleep deprived frustration via fire bolt onto the duergar. Zuleikha does a viscous two weapon attack that leaves it unable to answer her various questions because it is dead.
The disappeared duergar reappears next to Ophelia but misses badly (you did not need to use a Luck point or Shield).
“Well done!” Marva calls out to her companions, as the larger duergar falls. Noticing the reappearance of the other, she spins toward it and sends a beam of freezing light in its general direction. Feeling ineffective in her offensive work, she moves up to try to draw the duergar off of Ophelia. “Leave her alone!” she shouts as she runs up to the intruder.
[Zuleikha] "I will offer you the same courtesy I granted your cousin - put down your weapon, and let us treat as travellers sharing a fire. Now, tell me, what is it that has your friend so aggrieved?"
"You convinced him to lay down his blade," Ophelia exclaims to the Calishite Warrior before realizing that the unilateral disarmament was involuntary.
"But I wonder at your question. Why do these duergar attack the town after stealing from it? Are they Auril cultists as the deep gnome in Targos was?"
The words are hardly out of Ophelia's mouth when the other duergar materializes right next to her, and her voice ascends to a startled yelp. Her bow clatters to the inn's floor as she desperately draws her dagger and lunges awkwardly, chaotically warbling lavender radiance seeming to guide the blade.
IF the duergar goes down, she retrieves her bow and stumbles out of the Inn door into the snowy streets of Cair Konig to survey the scene.
Movement: Only after her attack and only if duergar is down (not wishing to provoke an AoO): Ophelia steps out the door and towards the commotion 35'. Bonus Action: None Action: (If Marva's attack slew the duergar, then cast Blade Ward. Otherwise...) Ophelia attacks the duergar with True Strike using her dagger. Ophelia has the Shield spell available as a reaction. It is round 4 of 10 for her ongoing use of Innate Sorcery.
“Leave.. her.. alone!” Dvu crosses the ground quickly (to G 2.5) to the duergar, swinging his magically infused mace, anger roiling within him. He has such a protective feeling about the odd elf, he wants to smash the duergar into bits for attacking her.
"It would seem my powers of persuasion are keener than even I realised." Zuleikha says drily to Ophelia, pulling her blades free of the duergar's mid-section as he collapses to the floor. She stares at her fallen foe, shaking her head with something approximating but not quite reaching remorse, a little heaviness of heart for the pointless loss of life. The Calishite shakes her head and begins scanning the room for the invisible gray dwarf. "A duergar and a deep gnome... children of the Underdark allied in the service of the Queen of Frozen Tears? If the gray dwarves really are here at Auril's behest, that seems like the sort of connection we should ruminate upon."
When fighting breaks out on the far side of the room, Zuleikha swishes over with Scheherazade in tow. "Is it true, duergar? Has the Lady's frost touched even you who dwell in the lightless caverns below the earth?" Prioritising Ophelia's safety, she does not wait for an answer, even if she hopes for one. The paladin's wrists spin in a fast circular motion on either side of her body, creating a blurring double sword-flower that speeds towards the first duergar's abdomen.

ACTION: Dash. Use all movement to leave through door at H1 with Scheherazade. She says: "Trovus is out here rallying the town's forces to the tavern - we must be make haste, be as swift as wildfire through dry grass!"
Ophelia reacts well to the sudden appearance of the duergar next to her by sticking her dagger in its heart. With the threats inside the Inn resolved, she looks out the front door to get a full sense of the chaos that has struck Caer--Konig. The barn next to the inn is on fire, as is the warehouse near the well (Yellow buildings on the map). There are bodies of townsfolks scatted around, some with javelins in them, some with crossbow bolts, and some with significant bludgeoning damage.
Trovus (Q7) appears to be leading the defense of the tavern with a few townsfolks. Trovus is injured, as is the duergar he is fighting (D3 at Q8). However, there is an Enlarged duergar throwing javelins at the townsfolks (D4 at Q10) and a normal sized duerger shooting crossbow bolts at the towsfolks (D5 at N18). The townsfolks would have their hands full with just those enemies but wait, there is more! What catches your attention is the Zombie Ogre in the middle of the mayhem with bodies scattered around it (ZO at N11). After a quick look around, you can see from its footsteps that this is the being that pulled the sled you followed last night.
Looking at the fight, you believe the attackers came from behind the Northern Light Inn and its barn and were heading towards the docks into town. You would guess that the two duergars that you encountered in the Inn were there to secure the Inn as a place they wanted to search for something rather than just another building to destroy. It is possible they wanted to search you! Fortunately, none of the attackers have seen you emerge from the Inn.
Everyone has initiative and is starting at the door (F15).
Dvu makes his way to M18 and engages with the duergar with the crossbow. He swings his club at him, trying to bring him down, throw him off. He notes the Zombie Ogre and the others are facing west, so he focuses on the straggler near the warehouse.

The white-haired woman then backs up towrads the wall behind her.
Zuleikha stares at the pandemonium that has befallen Caer Konig, with wounded and dying fishermen and townsfolk strewn between burning buildings, cries swallowed by the crackle of fire and the endless wind that gives the dale its name. Her heart wrenches with sympathy, only tempered by a cold, resolute determination to drive these invaders out.
And yet her attention is drawn by Ophelia's scream. The lavender lightning which lashes the enormous ogre certainly seems to clarify where the sorceress stands, but those words are once again ambiguous enough to water the seed of doubt growing about the rhyming seer's loyalties. Which side is she really on?
There's no time to untangle the thought. Zuleikha watches as her new friends scatter across the snows, bravely tackling the duergar and the zombie. Dvu and Marva bravely tackle the flank to engage the lone duergar off to the east; brilliant white fire erupts from Ellora;Drift's glimmering lights settle and cling to the gray dwarves.
Zuleikha takes a deep breath and strides forward. The stench of blood and burning timber assaults her nostrils as she rolls her glowing blades in her hands. There is no attempt to offer diplomacy this time, no extension of courtesy beyond the steel and magic of a paladin intent on ending this nightmare as swiftly as possible for the people of Caer Konig. A wall of gleaming cerulean swords begin spinning around the pasha's daughter as she marches in the direction of the behemoth undead.

Dvu reacts quickly by successfully attacking the crossbow-wielding duergar. Drift catches D3, D4, and the Zombie Ogre in his Faerie Fire spell but only D4 lights up. Ophelia sends a serious electrical arc that catches the Zombie Ogre by surprise and causes it to roar in pain. Marva moves to support Dvu but Dvu's hit against the duergar knocks it out of the path of her Sacred Flame. Ellora's Burning Hands do not reach any of the targets (it has a 15' reach and I judged that having your back to the building was more important than being 30' from the building but in spell range of the Ogre). Zuleikha moves closer to the Ogre and readies her defenses. It is clear that Trovus knows his way around a longsword just as well as his way around a bottle as he slashes D3 in front of him.
D3 responds to Trovus by landing its war pick in the Speaker's arm in what appears to be a brutal fight to the finish. D4 choses to Enlarge itself and moves towards the local militia, killing the first one with one swipe of its war pick. This causes the other local militia to retreat slightly towards the door of the tavern. D5 stows its crossbow and pulls out its war pick to attack Dvu (nat 20) causing 10 hp damage. The Zombie Ogre swings its massive morningstar at Zuleikha, who can feel the weapon against her spell but cause her no damage.
Dvu and D3 are Injured, while everyone else is looking fine.
Drift ducks and weaves as Zuleikha arrives, her swirl of colours and flapping skirts giving the warrior an air of unearthly grace that he can only clumsily try not to hinder.

Somehow, she is able to loose a wild shot from her bow, the warbling arrow curving improbably in its trajectory towards the duergar (D3) battling Trovus.

Your initiative.
Drift ducks and weaves as Zuleikha arrives, her swirl of colours and flapping skirts giving the warrior an air of unearthly grace that he can only clumsily try not to hinder.
He runs 10 feet to the side and tosses out a handful of caltrops, then runs 20 feet north towards the inn, panting.
Movement: to K11 then up to g11
Action: Caltrops thrown to cover L10
Voice choking from the torrent of electricity arcing through her, Ophelia continues to scream, stumbling back.
"THE SHADOWS WHICH CREEP FROM THE HEART OF DEEPEST WINTER ARE AS THE ICY PETALS OF A MONSTROUS BLUE FLOWER THAT BLOSSOMS WITHIN THE SKULL AND EXPANDS THE MIND BEYOND WHAT ANY MAN CAN ENDURE OR WOMAN BEAR. Oh gods... I..."
Somehow, she is able to loose a wild shot from her bow, the warbling arrow curving improbably in its trajectory towards the duergar (D3) battling Trovus.
Movement: Ophelia stumbles 5' N to E11
Bonus Action: Ophelia's Witch Bolt causes 2 lightning damage to the Zombie Ogre (no attack roll or saving throw).
Action: Ophelia casts True Strike with her longbow at advantage due to Innate Sorcery, targeting D3. (Rolled 3rd d20 with Seeking Spell Metamagic.)
True Strike with longbow to hit D3:
6(Nat. 1),7(Nat. 2), 16 (using Seeking Spell Metamagic for a 3rd roll).True Strike with longbow damage on D3: 8 (radiant)
Ophelia is maintaining concentration on Witch Bolt (round 2 of 10). She also has the Shield spell available as a reaction.
It is round 6 of 10 for her ongoing use of Innate Sorcery.
