"Whew! Now what gentlemen? I just am not getting this. We can't find the key yet finding monsters that are above my pay grade....have we checked all the rooms? My mind is a bit foggy."
Harknail suggests, "We have checked all the rooms, but did not open the sarcophagi in the mummy room. Since the remaining two rooms have monsters we can't defeat, I suggest searching the first room more thoroughly, specifically opening the three sarcophagi in that room."
Vespera agrees, "Better that fighting things my daggers can't hurt."
Open the sarcophagi, since we specifically hadn't searched in them before. It seems like a long shot, but the other two rooms don't seem accessible to us, so might as well thoroughly search the room we can get to.
(The long list of stuff you got was form the central sarcophagus in this room - just a reminder)
On casual examination, the sarcophagi in the room seem to still be sealed. The lids are held with some thin paste, hardened over the years.
You could try to break all of it from all around - scrape it off. Or break it off from one spot and then try to apply leverage with something like a crowbar, sword or dagger and pry it open.
There were knick-knacks and tools for the maintenance of the crypt in the first big room where you first met the sahuagin. (#4) You are pretty sure there was a crowbar there.
“We searched the crypt for the key because we were here. Perhaps the key isn’t here at all. And it appears less likely with each chamber we search. Plus, to be honest, I’m disinclined to desecrate the tombs of the dead.”
”I suggest we go and see if the key to the crystal chamber is in the Heyton residence. If the man himself didn’t take it with him, and it’s not here, that seems like as good of a spot to look as any.”
You get out of the crypt and head towards Heytons house. The man who gave you the key before, Martin (Heyton's majordomo), leads you in the house and bids you wait a min while he fetches the crest for you. He says that the crest is usually in the slot and he was unaware Heyton removed it before he went after Ana. In a moment he returns with the crest and hands it to Silver. He asks if there is anything else you need ?
@Manny, while Martin is giving Silver the key, the Crystal send you a warning about danger. Approximately 120 sec, 119, 118, etc.
@MEP-RU, you detect a global transmission burst from the Crystal (not towards you or targeted), digital,, warning about imminent spatiale and temporal desynchronization. Countdown 120 119 ,118, etc.
@Vespera, you start to feel pressure in your head. It is quickly increasing.
MEP-RU relays to the others in the hexadecimal hand jive gestures, “Two minutes isn’t enough time to get back to the crypt. We might want to be outside though to ‘receive’ whatever will be arriving.”
As relays as he begins to pump Silverlining with adrenaline.
Martin is a little surprised at the abruptness, but quickly follows you outside, slightly worried.
@Manny, the Crystal continues to send you the countdown, 99, 98
@MEP-RU, is still receiving the global send from the Crystal.
@Vespera's head keeps pulsing every second.
(anything you would like to do in the next 99 seconds ?)
It was early morning right after sunrise and breakfast when you went in the Crypt. Now is at most two hours later.
The sky above the isle is clear, the sky further away is like before, tainted by the shroud. None of the villagers seems to notice anything at all, neither do you, except for the countdown for some and the splitting headache. Your surrounding do not indicate anything at all.
Manny has a exasperated look,

Manny nods in agreement, "sounds good Vespera"
On the way to the Mummy room you notice that the darkness in the other room has not dissipated yet.
(What exactly do you plan to do in the Mummy room ?)
Open the sarcophagi, since we specifically hadn't searched in them before. It seems like a long shot, but the other two rooms don't seem accessible to us, so might as well thoroughly search the room we can get to.
Manny agrees.

Manny looks to the others and says, "if time has sealed these, would a key be in them?"
Manny looks for anything that can be used as a crowbar.
There were knick-knacks and tools for the maintenance of the crypt in the first big room where you first met the sahuagin. (#4) You are pretty sure there was a crowbar there.

Manny in an agreeable mood to leave this horrible place of losing nods yes vigorously to Silver choice to leave.
Vespera also agrees with Silver's idea. "That sounds reasonable, and much easier to search." Harknail simply stays quiet.

Vespera puts her hands to her head while saying, "Ug, the pressure..."
MEP-RU relays to the others in the hexadecimal hand jive gestures, “Two minutes isn’t enough time to get back to the crypt. We might want to be outside though to ‘receive’ whatever will be arriving.”
As relays as he begins to pump Silverlining with adrenaline.
Manny received the warning thinking the danger was coming to the room, reading Silver's message he needs to adjust.
"Let's go outside to welcome this danger."
Vespera follows the others outside.
Martin is a little surprised at the abruptness, but quickly follows you outside, slightly worried.

Manny states the countdown number "At 97, 96...."
