Finally, the ray of brilliant light descends upon the zombie. It writhes and screeches as it turns to ash.
Combat over.
Now that you have a moment to catch your breaths, you see that the seawater obscures the floor and sloshes against the hull. Decaying crates and barrels are scattered around, some floating freely and others stacked into corners. There is a hole in the ceiling in the northwest part of the area that is matched by a similar hole directly below it.
Marin points out the two holes, "Whatever made holes in the floor and ceiling was making sure she would sink."

"A rightful place awaits you in the Realms Above, in the Land of the Great Light. Come in peace, and live beneath the sun again, where trees and flowers grow."

"Run thy sword across my chains, Silver Lady, that I may join your dance.”
Onji asks Marin, "What room was above? I did not search that room....do you know who did? That hole could have been a heavy treasure chest? ...which means...it might be below the hole?"
Marin looks up at the hole in the ceiling and then down to the one in the floor as Onji is describing the hypothetical treasure chest's descent through the floors of the ship. Then they come to rest on the decayed remains of the undead.
"I can't remember what's right above this room but that raises a good point, we should search the rest of the ship that's above water before we resort to diving."

Dirk will go with Onji once he has opened the crates and barrels here. “Onji once again your bravery has shielded us all! I would like to go with you, just let’s see what is here while we are not fighting for our lives.” Dirk would also like to look over the ghoul having never seen one personally.
Onji nods to Dirk's brilliant suggestion and his flattery.
Onji states, "With all of us down here, we don't know if anyone else is arriving, I am going up the stairs to the doorway, dry my boots and stand watch."
As Onji walks up the dry stairs he stomps his boots to shake off the water and stands in the doorway.
OOC - post #162 has the ship floor plans. Edit as my Early assumption was wrong. instead I walk up high enough so just my forehead/eyes can see around the main deck. If all is clear, looking up the mast and again around the deck I get my head above the main deck floor, but my shoulders and lower are covered.
Perception rolled game log = 18
On the main deck there are 4 rooms. The top right room was searched, the bottom right looks like a dinner table? There looks like debris in front of the door.
DM - is there debris and does it take 2 people or 1 to clear it?
Irtos stays on the deck, with her small size had heavy armor, being in the water seems like a really bad idea. But she waits for someone else before searching any of the rooms, not wanting to be alone if there's an unexpected surprise.
If Onji and Irtos are staying on deck Marin will follow Dirk when he goes to explore the other rooms.
"Be ready! If we can we should try to draw out any undead we encounter so the others can help."

With the flurry of movement and decisions Ash will remain silent for a bit longer. He will follow behind Marin & Dirk. "Very valliant efforts in the battle, the both of you." he will say quietly. Ashwill assist in exploring the rooms with the pair but will keep an eye over his shoulder, as it were, just incase their efforts stir up more zombies and the like.
Inside the crates, Dirk finds ten small, 1-pound bars of silver, worth 5 gp each.
He then proceeds to look at the ghoul. This foul medium creature appears more or less humanoid. It is mostly hairless, has a carnivore’s sharp teeth and jagged claws. If it hits with those claws, it could paralyze its victim.
If the crew quarters can be any indicator, each of the cabins above can be searched by one person. Whether there is anything of worth, remains to be seen.
Please clarify which cabin is everyone going to investigate. Currently, only the top right cabin was investigated. That leaves top-left cabin, bottom-left cabin and bottom-right cabin to be looked at.
Irtos again tries calling Divine Flame down upon the last zombie.

Onji's eyes widen slightly as he sees the light come done. Onji starts his swing motion, understanding that he may swing at air.
Dirk draws his bow hoping to see the end of this terrifying enemy. “Get him Irtos!”
Ever wonder what it would be like to be a bear?

Marin points out the two holes, "Whatever made holes in the floor and ceiling was making sure she would sink."
Dirk starts opening crates and barrels not really hoping for much but perhaps knowing what was hauled onboard might reveal a little more.

Irtos says, "We only searched one room so far, did find some gold coins. And a sad picture. Apparently one of the crew had a lover on shore."
Onji looks at the others, then says,
"I prefer to stay dry...I am going to check the room on the deck on the other side of the ship. Who would like to join me with that search?"
