{I can only find the lower deck map, but that shows the ship's bow is on the right. So front starboard room would be the bottom right cabin, right next to the previous one searched,}
Irtos and Onji go to check the bottom right cabin. While one person is enough to search a cabin, there is safety in numbers, especially when undead could be anywhere.
Perception 21
Investigation 20
Irtos gives the cabin a quick glance and then a thorough search.
Dirk takes the silver. Is there any personal affects indicating who or what the ghoul may have been before becoming a ghoul? Emblems rings amulets outfit footwear?
Marin is getting impatient to search the other rooms and make sure there are no other undead to deal with but decides to stick by Dirk, not out of loyalty so much as everyone else has gone off to explore and it's better than being alone on a ship full of undead.
"I guess we'll hear if the others run into trouble... how many undead do you think are on the ship?" Marin asks Dirk, more just to break the silence.

"A rightful place awaits you in the Realms Above, in the Land of the Great Light. Come in peace, and live beneath the sun again, where trees and flowers grow."
— The message of Eilistraee to all decent drow.
"Run thy sword across my chains, Silver Lady, that I may join your dance.”
Irtos and Onji, a long table takes up most of this cabin, which must have served as a mess hall. Decaying chairs are scattered about, and broken glass and crockery litter the floor. There doesn't appear to be anything of value here.
Ash, as you get closer to the cabin, you notice intricate carvings on the door that seem to indicate this might have been the Captain's quarters. When you try to open it, you feel some resistance. It seems it must have been barricaded from the inside, although you can feel that if you put more pressure on it, you'll be able to open it. (i.e. give me a Strength check)
Dirk, the ghoul didn't carry anything of note. Where the zombies must have clearly been the sailors and passengers of the ship before they died, the ghoul seemed to have appeared from somewhere else, probably lured by all the dead bodies onboard.
Onji does not see anything of intelligence or treasure to help solve the issue nor line their pockets. Looking at Irtos Onji says, " think we should end the search here and check out the rear rooms on this ship?"

If there is nothing more here Dirk quickly follows Ash wanting to at least explore using the buddy system. “Ash there were a few silver bars among the scuttle we can share the wealth when we are clear of this site. I hope we find whatever is animating the dead, so it can be destroyed.”
"The five of us together would be even better than the buddy system."

Onji agrees and sets out with Irtos to go tot he bottom left.
Ash, you hear the door creak but it doesn't open. You can try again with Dirk's help.
Onji and Irtos, you seem to have found the ship's galley. It is a narrow, claustrophobic space that reeks of brine and ancient, spoiled grain. Rusted iron pots hang from overhead hooks, clinking rhythmically with the sway of the ship. A heavy wooden prep counter lines the starboard wall, its surface stained and pitted by years of use. A long-dead, headless skeleton sits propped up against a counter to the right, but the galley is otherwise empty. Unless… did the skeleton just move?
Onji can breathe a sigh of relief. As he moves closer, he realizes the "movement" is just a cluster of small, harmless crabs. They are scuttling over the headless skeletal remains and through the ribcage, their clicking shells creating the illusion that the bones were shifting.
Onji seeing the other 3 gathering around the last unchecked room trying to open the door. Looking back to Irtos he says, that hole in the ceiling and the floor downstairs in the water filled lower deck, should have shown a hole in a floor on one of the rooms up here. Did you see any holes in floors in the three rooms we checked?
...What are the chances that the room they are opening has that hole?
Think there could be another zombie in that room they are trying to open?"...Onji gives a smirking little laugh.
"Do we join them at that little door or do we go dumpster diving underwater in the hold? We probably need to strip our armor off and were the skivvies to go swimming...or in my case doggy paddling."
"your choice Irtos, swim 1st and ignore the room or go to the room with the others then go swimming second?
Ash will move aside , letting Dirk to get a position & help Ash. "Much obliged Master Dirk" he says as he does so. Ash will make his attempt: 7
Ash grunts and pushes but his hands seem to slide across the muck of the door, or is it slime? "I am not that strong it seems" he remarks to Dirk, a bit disheartened.
