Marin will take a few steps away from anyone near to him and hold up his green left hand, palm upward. He then casts Druidcraft to check what the weather will be like for the next 24 hours.
Seeing Dirk gripping his stone club Marin thinks back to their recent 'welcome' at the beach and remembers how well they all fought together, it's only been a short time but he trusts his chances with them rather than trying to go it alone. Time and time again, with a little luck... and planning, things have always just sort of worked out for him.
"Dirk is right, if there's nothing else I guess we should get a move on. I would like to take my turn in the rotation for rowing first, it's just that if we get close and spot more zombies I would like to have the option of skipping my turn to get off a few shots with my trusty bow."
Right after explaining he hastily adds, "I can usually hit things within a hundred feet or so and sometimes even out to 300 feet."

"A rightful place awaits you in the Realms Above, in the Land of the Great Light. Come in peace, and live beneath the sun again, where trees and flowers grow."
— The message of Eilistraee to all decent drow.
"Run thy sword across my chains, Silver Lady, that I may join your dance.”
Onji looks towards Marin, "If it is all right with you, I prefer not to move while in the boat, ...so I can just row the whole way there, it is only for a couple of hours....this way no splinters can pierce those dainty fingers you have...cause...we might need to pick some locks on the big boat." Onji grins at Marin speaking the last line.
Ash nods at Marin's comment. "Well, I guess we are off to investigate this problem of yours." he says to Runara. "Funny how the Fates sway a path. However, I did come here seeking wisdom and information. I'll help like Onji & Marin have agreed to. I hope upon our return the knowledge & wisdom of this place and yourself will be open to us." Ash smiles and bows. "I am not a fan of the ocean but" he pauses. "Shall we?" He looks to Dirk, the party leader, and then the others, waiting to see what they wish to do.
Irtos comments, "Thank you for doing the rowing, Onji. I would have problems with that. I can also try burning zombies from afar, though my range is not as far as Marin's arrows."
“If in a natural setting I can will the plants and weeds to hinder or even restrain our foes. With a little luck we may not have to go toe to toe with any horrid bloated undead from the sea.” Dirk shakes his head in disgust just thinking about the soggy undead flesh. “Onji thank you for volunteering to row. Runara there are many questions I hope to answer while I’m here as well.” There is a smell like a campfire (elementalism) near Dirk as he looks at the other passengers he travelled here with he seems confident.
Runara smiles softly and nods. "I speak on behalf of all of us here to thank you for your courage. You are more than welcome to stay in one of our monastic cells during your visit, and I am looking forward to learning more about what knowledge and wisdom each of you seeks here. Now I shall pray for your safe return."
With that, if nobody else has questions, Runara will retreat back to the temple. The kobolds linger for a bit longer, still fascinated by your presence. The two humans wish you good luck and disappear into the buildings you walked past earlier. Marin, as you cast your Druidcraft, you can tell by the gentle breeze and the small golden orb that appears that the weather will stay as mild and nice as it is currently.
You make your way back to the beach where you find the rowboat neatly tied to the rickety dock. It is large enough to fit you all without the need to squeeze. Onji takes the oars and soon you find yourselves moving further north, past the long spur of sharp rocks Runara mentioned. You see the remains of several ships of various sizes either jutting through the water or stuck on the rocks. Most of them are too damaged to allow for a safe investigation aboard.
In just under an hour and a half, Onji rows you to your destination.
Waves lap against a derelict ship lodged against a ridge of rocks and enormous dragon bones. A faint odour of rot wafts on the sea air, along with the sound of screeching seagulls and the roar of the surf. A tangled mess of tattered sails and rigging hangs off the starboard side of the main deck, offering one possible way to climb aboard. At the stern, you can make out a gaping hole in the hull beneath the water line.
The Compass Rose groans against the rocks, its mast tilted towards the sky. Onji brings the rowboat within reach of the tangled rigging hanging off the side.
Do you want to try and climb the ropes to the main deck, or do you want to row around to the stern and investigate the hole beneath the water line?
Onji grins at his companions, "Aarrrr Maties....as your cruise director, and engine, I prefer to climb up 1st then down....I think we should start at the top and work downward. It is always better to be above your foe then below...entering in from that hole means we are SWIMMING blind....and I don't want to to get my feet wet...if you all want we can split, half go topside with me, the other half go swimming in through the hole....either way I am tired and want to tie up here with the tangled mess of sails & ropes.
Dirk is watching intently below the surface expecting to see undead creeping along the bottom or swimming for their boat…
As they approach the Compass Rose and Onji voices his preference, Dirk feels no objection and so waits till they are tied up to disembark and explore, though he believes what they are looking for will more then likely be below decks…
”I’ll check near the mast if possible, sometimes a barrel or chest is secured there to avoid scuttle in rough water or weather.”
"Perhaps we should limit our investigation to the ship for now, I'm pretty quick and a half decent climber so these riggings actually look inviting," and as they get within range Marin will jump to grab a hold of the ropes and torn sails to begin climbing, "...they remind me of my home forest, I climbed lot of trees there."
(If needed Marin could use his movement and dash for a climb speed of 35 feet.)
Onji, helps steady the boat as it is tied up. Onji stows the oars and plans to be the last one up the ropes. This allows him to steady the boat for those that want to dive off and swim. Onji will watch the swimmers until they are out of sight to ensure they have a safe arrival.
Marin will draw a dagger and place it between his teeth, biting down a little to hold it while leaving his hands free and begin climbing up toward the crow's nest.

Onji sees the Hollywood move and loudly states to Marin, "Marin...that type of carry is the 2nd leading cause of missing lower jaws after chewing Tobacco.":) said with a smile. "I hope the sharp edge is facing outward."
Irtos climbs to the deck, the looks around as she moves her shield back to her arm. She had fastened it to her backpack for the climb up so that she could have both hands free.
The only thing Ash would want to do before leaving would be to find 3 good stones. If & when he does he will put them in a pocket for safe keeping. Once on the boat, he will off to help with the rowing but if the offer is declined he will set back and watch, Once the boat gets to the ship he will do his best to look over the ship as best he can. He has no experience with ships, outside coming to the island on one, so he will not have a working knowledge but will do what he can. He will also look at the setting. Is there any seaweed near by? Is it in large quantities? Are there any fish near? Where ever the party decides to climb up, Ash will use Prestidigitation to clean the area from any slime, seaweed, or the like that might make climbing aboard slippery. Once down he will strap his staff to his pack and start to climb. (do we need to make any Athletic checks for the climb?)
Ash, you find as many stones as you want around the rocks and along the path of Dragon's Rest. Once at sea, there is seaweed clinging to the rocks near the wrecks and even on parts of the remains themselves.
As Onji brings the boat closer to the railing, Ashclears the area so you can all climb safely onto the main deck.
The mouldering wood of the deck is slick with algae and seawater. Amid the tangle of rigging, splintered railings, and stray seaweed, you spot boots, bones, and bits of gore that seem considerably more recent than the wreck of the ship.
Stairs lead to upper decks forward and aft, and four doors lead into cabins under those decks. The mainmast remains intact and mostly upright, topped with a crow’s nest overflowing with debris. A staircase near the mast and a large hatch on the port side both lead down into the hold.
Irtos comments, "I suppose we should start at the top and work our way down. Search the easy spots first before having to deal with parts underwater."
Following her own advice, she goes and checks the forward deck, moving slowly and carefully on the slimy deck. She isn't expecting to find anything on any of the exposed decks, but it made sense to her to check those first.
Dirk moves to look down into the hold, he creates a little muddy wolf and directs it into the hold. He is watching to see if anything attacks his ‘sea-wolf’. (Elementalism)

Marin looks down and notices Onji gaining on him and while still holding his dagger between his teeth renews his efforts to reach the crow's nest first.

Irtos also likes the idea of starting at the top, "I can't really swim with this armor on."

Onji like Irtos has his shield on the back, Onji left his bow on the rowboat figuring no use for a bow on the ship.
Once on the deck onji looks around, then up. Onji then looks at the closest teammate, tells them, "I am going to look at the crows nest above."
Onji stops the climb when he sees Marin starting.to climb.
Onji sees Irtos going forward, so Onji goes to the Stairs lead to upper decks aft.
