Noldeme follows the group behind, and in case the place is/gets dark, she holds a knife with Light cast on it, not for her, she had darkvision, but whichever party member was hindred by darkness.
Boon finds a door in the middle of the hallway that leads into the same big room the others went throug. At the end of the hall is a door that leads outside into the courtyard. (If you like Boon you can catch up to the others)
Noldeme, Nevitash and Void all jump into the hole. As they travel through the tunnel you all start to hear squeaking. Very distant, but the echo helps. You start to hear a bit of rumbling coming from the sides..the noise gets louder and louder...when eventually 5 rats burst out of the dirt jumping out at all of you. All of you make dexterity saving throws!
If the rats persisted in staying on their way, Noldeme casts Eldritch Blast around the area, trying to kill at least one of the rats. Maybe that'll scare the others to flee by their own will.
With Void’s reinforcement of the earth, Nevitash’s kicks making the rats back away, and Noldeme just completely annihilated the rats with her burst of pure energy making a bloody mess, the path is clear to keep moving forward.
("*Her burst of pure energy." Don't worry, I won't make a scene about it, and I understand if you were distracted or something, but Noldeme is a female, as we have already stated it so far.)
Noldeme looks a bit regretful about attacking them, since there was really no need to splatter the whole area with blood, but she tries to ignore it and take her knife from the floor."Should we continue now? We don't want the lizardfolk to completely flee."
You all begin to dash out of the tunnel to where it leads. When you three finally make it to the end, the bright blue sky and palm trees complete the lands of some hills. The tunnel you took led you a long ways away from the castle and the town. But in the very far distance you three see a runaway cart making a dash across the land. Do you go after it I wonder?
Noldeme was about to start running in its direction, but the team's reaction refrain her from doing so. Answering Nevitash, she first ponders. "I don't know if you can call that a 'good look', but I did see the Lizardfolk when they were handling the poison to Lady Haera, and I got really close when we were making that chase up on the castle..." (I'm just assuming it since I rolled a 19 on my athletics check.)

"They have gone too far, without horses we can't get them, we should pull back and investigate."
