[Sorry, I originally set it to keep highest roll rather than lower, so I had to go back and edit that.]
Zeseis continued his climb, a short distance behind Crispy and Isuzu. "Damn armor makes it hard to climb things," he muttered to himself as he placed his hand on a slick rock. Feeling himself slip, Zeseis grasped out at the cliff face, his hands catching the side of the cliff. Breathing a sigh of relief, which he tried to hide from his fellow adventurers, Zeseis saw Crispy's leg slip out from under her. Infusing his words with magic, Zeseis barked a command. "Rise!"
Crispy, can I please get a constitution save. Everybody who hasn’t made a Dex Save, please still make one! Thanks to the people who did, you’ll temporarily be on hold
In italics I put the things he probably thought louder than just in his mind, he wasn't saying any of that to everyone, but it comes out under his breath, and one could see he was talking about something to himself. If they were close enough, maybe they could overhear it, but he would try not to be heard whenever his efforts worked.
Marfaen breaths relieved that he managed to avoid the disconfort of being carried around like he actually didn't have legs, please, he needed help, but if he could do something, he would do it himself. He snaps out of it, and remembers the group that was going with him, he forgot to take a look about them, and he saw a bunch of humans, of course, they had majority in the world, so they had majority everywhere, but the four to one proportion here seemed kinda exaggerated. The next thing he noticed is that he might've made some pretty good choices, the muscle machine that took his feet of the ground sure could help when strengh was needed, the armor wearing swordsman on the other hand could probably help with defense if they found themselves under attack. Of the two ladies, they both looked pretty swift, seriously, it was so hard for him to walk in that snow, yet both of them... Never mind, the rogue already slipped. Yeah, swiftness could also be used, and he wasn't sure, but the white skinned seemed to have something magical about her. Magic was always great, it was also good he still kept as the specialist in that area, or else, there was really no reason to keep him in.
He follows the party upsides, looking at their footprints to know where to go.
Dex save: 20 (Advantage because Nightvision from racial trait)
Crispy, you slip and fall on a rock, falling face first in the snow, and creating a very visual disturbance on the hillside. You twist your ankle, an injury that normally would take a few minutes of downtime to recuperate from, but you feel an intense need to... Rise! And you proceed to continue the climb on your injured appendage. You manage to get to safely arrive at the top with the rest of your team (barring a possible nat 1 from the last remaining teammate to roll) but you take 1D4 bludgeoning damadge from hiking on your injury.
Kol watched the group that he had ended up beside as they all climbed the slope, he was surprised by the Tired One as he almost nimbly climb the slope like a reindeer. The one he was most cautious about slipped, he thought about helping but they hopped up and took off up the slope. It didn't seem right but everyone here seemed off to him, if he kept quiet and useful hopefully he wouldn't have to worry about them. If they proved a bother, he would find a way to rid himself of them. It was as simple as walking away or eliminating them, still killing was not his first option. Better to walk away. After getting to the top he looked down at the lights and spoke to the Marfaen, "Well done. You proved me wrong, good."

Isuzu, as she begins to make her way up the hill, gives in and pulls her amulet from her tunic and gives a tug to the sack covering it allowing the Light to once again spring forth to allow her to more safely make her ascend.
Sensing Crispy has injured herself in her fall... Isuzu turns back towards her and whispers a Healing Word hoping to soothe any pain or discomfort she may be experiencing.
Crispy, disregard the roll, the healing word heals you back to full regardless of what you get
After minutes of walking, you all realize as a group that you are no longer walking at an angle up. You've finally crested the steep hillside, and are walking on flatter ground. The village looks like a singular twinkling dot of light way off in the distance, and you can't really tell where the military is in relation to you, other then that they seem to have started their ascent up.
Looking back behind you all, the dark country side looks like it hasn't been disturbed in years. Not a single disturbance in the snow, weather that be man or creature made for as far as any of you can see. Aside from the now sort of muffled sound of dogs barking far below you, the only other sound to disturb the silence of night is the sound of your new teammates breathing in the cold night air.
There is little indication of where to go naturally go next. The North-Star twinkles high above you, illuminating the sparse trees of your climb quickly growing denser, forming a small forest to the North and North-East of you. To the left of the forest, or North-West of you, it seems the hill gently slopes down to what seems like a small ravine or valley. The lights of another adventuring group, far bolder then you five as it seems all of them are carrying a torch or lantern of some kind, twinkle in the valley, steadily heading more and more North-West.
You could either go directly straight, or pure north into the forest. You could also go to the right, or North-East of you all, which is just more forest, the only real difference between the two directions is where you would eventually end up, and then finally to the left, or North-West of you where you would all descend into a valley, and potentially encounter with another adventuring group. You could also go back down South, undue-ing the process you've made to this point and into the military's waiting arms if that strikes your fancy.
Now is the time to decide, you could also make whatever checks or rolls you deem appropriate to the situation, but for every action you take, is an action the military takes to catch up to you all.
Wow, Cora, way to show off your athletic skills in front of the new group. Her ankle throbbed, but before she could concern herself with how to play it off, Isuzu healed it.
She looked at her for a moment, studying her features. "Thanks." she said, eventually. "Stupid rock." She gave it a wiggle. It was good as new.
She looked at the forest, and at the lights of what could be another adventuring group.
"Looks light we got two choices." She said, staring at the adventuring group. "Any opinions?"
She looked at her for a moment, studying her features. "Thanks." she said, eventually.
Isuzu respectfully bows, "Sometimes we fall down because there is something down there we're supposed to find."
"Looks like we got two choices." She said, staring at the adventuring group. "Any opinions?"
“There are no wrong turnings. Only paths we had not known we were meant to walk... but in this instance, this one humbly recommends the way north-west which descends into a valley."
Isuzu eyes lower submissively, adding, "a valley, perhaps then a river... river valleys provide fertile soil refreshed by seasonal flooding, and level... for easier building and cultivation... perhaps we might discover a settlement, a town, a city, a civilization or the remains of one."
Crispy looked at Isuzu as she dished out the wisdom. "Guess I should keep my eyes open, then. I have..much..to find." Crispy made a face dismissing a thought she had in her head. Now was not the time or place to reminisce or seek a shoulder with strangers about how messed up her life has been, to find a constructive way to vent the pain and frustration.
Finally, she said, "I'm OK with the valley as well."
He climbs in hops, and follow the other's footsteps with complete ease, even going as far as doing it better than most of the group, much to his own surprise. Wow, I-... He notices the tough man to his side, who was interrupting his inner speech.
After getting to the top he looked down at the lights and spoke to the Marfaen, "Well done. You proved me wrong, good."
"Oh, yeah... Thanks, I'm happy to make my efforts in this adventure noticed."
He looks in front to the two different available options and considers both for a second.Uhm, in the wilderness, we can't choose what we'll face, but in the valley, the torches from the other group could be our downfall.
Isuzu eyes lower submissively, adding, "a valley, perhaps then a river... river valleys provide fertile soil refreshed by seasonal flooding, and level... for easier building and cultivation... perhaps we might discover a settlement, a town, a city, a civilization or the remains of one."
He takes in the conversation already happening and responds. "Well, that's a good point, but I think the lights down there will just be attracting more soldiers to find them... If we get too close, we'll just get burned together in the proccess, so I'd rather not go down the valley, also, we could find something beyond the wilderness, so..."
"I personally agree with the valley. However, it will be difficult to cover our tracks, since this snow is untouched. If any of you know a way to stall our pursuers for more time, I would like to know it," Zeseis said, peering down at the lanterns below. "They are more of an inconvenience than a threat, if you ask me. I'd rather deal with them now rather than later, while we have the advantage."
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
Zeseis flashed Crispy a smirk. "On the contrary. We can easily wait them out here. We have a height and time advantage. But I'm not one for standing around, so I'd like to be able to deal with them now and from here." As he said this, Zeseis glanced about for a sizeable pile of snow to start an avalanche with.
Perception:4
[Rolling with disadvantage for now, unless it's confirmed that there's enough light for me to see normally.]
Even in the dark night, your roving eyes still catch several odddities that you diddnt notice through passive observation.
It seems like a lot of the snow around you had already been displaced through the previous avalanches. There might be a few spots on the side of the small valley that could inconviance the military for some time, but probably not enough to stop them in their tracks, or eliminate the group all togeather. You notice a few paths on the sides of The Valley that look like they could easily lead your group to the bottom much more safely then winging it down.
You turn to tell your group mates of your discoveries, when... something flashes at the edge of your vision. It looked like some dim light coming from somewhere in the forest, but when you try looking for it, the woods seem as dark and lifeless as they initially did.
Crispy saw the flash from the forest. She squinted her eyes to try and see if she could tell what it was, or where exactly it came from, but she frowned in disappointment.
Kol stood watching the forest below him and listening to the others, he didnt know their choices but he had decided his choice was the forest. Anyone inside would be like them, scurrying to escape the military's men. Even if they caused issues they could just beat them down and leave them for the dogs to find. "I like the forest. The valley is could trap us if it goes too long and it might be a dead end. The forest is wide and we can have directions to scatter if needed and places to hide. If trouble finds us, we will leave it torn apart as a warning to others. Be it beasts or people, it will make them hesitant."After saying his mind he returned to watching the lights below them, he was use to a crew and hoped like them theses strangers could decide quickly or they would need a captain figure to look to for decisions. He didn't want that burden but he wouldn't accept the Conquer easily.
